Across the centuries, these spaces have borne witness to the rhythms of life in this mountain city\u2014from the poetic scene of lantern light reflected on the Yangtze River to the everyday rituals of riverside diving and fishing, and today\u2019s urban strolls and caf\u00e9s tucked beneath the bridges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\">This distinctive interplay of space and culture has fostered Chongqing\u2019s unconventional retail landscape, with the spaces beneath its bridges among its most characteristic settings. How could it accommodate both the convivial energy of beer and barbecue and the everyday warmth of bread and coffee?<br \/>\nThese seemingly competing demands became the starting point for the design. Our response was to bring them together through two core strategies, creating a cohesive whole animated by their contrasts, rather than simply dividing the site into separate zones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\">Strategy One: Borrowing Chongqing\u2019s Scenery\u2014A New Perspective on the Mountain City<br \/>\nCarefully designed viewing platforms and stepped outdoor seating areas frame the skyline of the Yuzhong Peninsula, the Raffles City complex, and the river beyond. Positioned through rigorous sightline analysis, these dedicated areas offer optimal views of the city at night and its drone shows. Seated on a viewing platform, visitors can raise a glass as the lights of the opposite bank unfold before them, making the illuminated cityscape a captivating backdrop to the dining experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\">\u25bd\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7b56\u7565<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i.mooool.com\/img\/2026\/11\/01-3-n1p.jpg?x-oss-process=style%2Ffull\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-616111\" src=\"https:\/\/i.mooool.com\/img\/2026\/11\/01-3-n1p.jpg?x-oss-process=style%2Ffull\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1399\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/i.mooool.com\/img\/2026\/11\/01-4-xvx.jpg?x-oss-process=style%2Ffull\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-616115\" src=\"https:\/\/i.mooool.com\/img\/2026\/11\/01-4-xvx.jpg?x-oss-process=style%2Ffull\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1399\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\"><strong>\u7b56\u7565\u4e8c\uff1a\u501f\u610f\u81ea\u7136\u2014\u2014\u5728\u201c\u6865\u4e0b\u82b1\u56ed\u201d\u4e2d\u878d\u5408\u591a\u5143\u4f53\u9a8c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\">\u6211\u4eec\u4ee5&#8221;\u81ea\u7136&#8221;\u4e3a\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e3b\u7ebf\uff0c\u5c06\u8fd9\u7247\u6865\u4e0b\u7a7a\u95f4\u6253\u9020\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u5145\u6ee1\u751f\u547d\u529b\u7684\u82b1\u56ed\u805a\u843d\u3002\u901a\u8fc7\u9519\u843d\u7684\u7eff\u690d\u3001\u6728\u8d28\u5e73\u53f0\u4e0e\u6c89\u6d78\u5f0f\u706f\u5149\uff0c\u8ba9\u539f\u672c\u5355\u8c03\u7684\u6c34\u6ce5\u6865\u58a9\u7115\u53d1\u65b0\u751f\uff0c\u4e0e\u591a\u5143\u4e1a\u6001\u5f62\u6210\u5de7\u5999\u547c\u5e94\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\">Strategy Two: Drawing Inspiration from Nature\u2014Bringing Diverse Experiences Together in a Garden Beneath the Bridge<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 160px;\">With nature as the guiding design theme, we transformed the space beneath the bridge into a vibrant cluster of garden spaces.
