OvS\u2019 Landscape Master Plan establishes loci and orientation for the site\u2019s features: performance areas, sculpture locations, and artist residences, and organizes a system of pedestrian and vehicular circulation. Given the magnificence of the physical environment, efforts to preserve the existing Big Sky landscape drove every facet of the planning and eventual design process. Structures are positioned to maximize views of the mountains and their relationships to the surrounding built and natural context. The land, carefully sculpted, conceals utility structures\u00a0and operational functions. Paths and roadways serve as an accessible means to link programmatic elements, but also capitalize on the site\u2019s many vistas and vantage points.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u5730\u533a\u6bcf\u5e74\u53ea\u670916\u82f1\u5bf8\u7684\u964d\u6c34\u548c\u964d\u96ea\uff0c\u8fd9\u5c31\u9700\u8981\u5bf9\u6c34\u8d44\u6e90\u7ba1\u7406\u91c7\u53d6\u654f\u611f\u548c\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u7684\u89e3\u51b3\u65b9\u6848\u3002OvS\u4e0e\u9879\u76ee\u56e2\u961f\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f4d\u4e8e\u573a\u9986\u505c\u8f66\u573a\u4e0b\u65b9\u7684\u96e8\u6c34\u50a8\u5b58\u7cfb\u7edf\u3002\u5730\u8868\u5f84\u6d41\u88ab\u622a\u83b7\u3001\u50a8\u5b58\u548c\u91cd\u65b0\u5206\u914d\u5e76\u7528\u4e8e\u704c\u6e89\uff0c\u9274\u4e8e\u8499\u5927\u62ff\u5dde\u5e72\u65f1\u7684\u6c14\u5019\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u50a8\u6c34\u7cfb\u7edf\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u7ec4\u6210\u90e8\u5206\u3002\u6536\u96c6\u7684\u96e8\u6c34\u4e5f\u4e3a\u8be5\u5730\u533a\u7684\u5395\u6240\u4f9b\u6c34\u3002\u4e00\u4e2a8000\u5e73\u65b9\u82f1\u5c3a\u7684\u5149\u4f0f\u592a\u9633\u80fd\u96e8\u68da\u662f\u4e0e\u9879\u76ee\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u5408\u4f5c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\uff0c\u4e3a\u573a\u9986\u7684\u7535\u52a8\u8f66\u63d0\u4f9b\u7535\u529b\u3002\u65b0\u7684\u573a\u5730\u5143\u7d20\uff0c\u5982\u66f2\u7ebf\u6805\u680f\u7684\u8010\u5019\u94a2\u67f1\uff0c\u662f\u5bf9\u7267\u573a\u4e0a\u751f\u9508\u7684\u91d1\u5c5e\u548c\u98ce\u5316\u7684\u6728\u8d28\u6805\u680f\u7684\u8ba4\u53ef\u3002<\/p>\n

The property receives only 16 inches of rain and\u00a0snow annually, necessitating sensitive and sustainable solutions for water management. Working with the project team, OvS designed a rainwater storage system that sits below the venue\u2019s parking area. Surface runoff is captured, stored, and redistributed for irrigation \u2013 a critical component given Montana\u2019s arid climate. Captured rainwater also\u00a0provides water for\u00a0the property\u2019s toilets. A 8,000 square-foot photovoltaic solar canopy, designed collaboratively with the project architect, supplies the power for the venue\u2019s fleet of electric vehicles. New site elements, such as Corten steel posts of a curvilinear fence, are a nod to the rusted metal and weathered wood fences on the ranch.<\/p>\n
