The design sets out to revitalize the square as an urban pedestrian space, respecting its individuality among the\u00a0surrounding fabric of streets and plazas, and celebrating its archaeological site: a roman necropolis, one of the most important\u00a0vestiges of the Roman Catalonia. The square is presented as a public urban garden: partly because it is the way to respond to their\u00a0uniqueness archaeological site, in part to continue the same concept of the intervention, and finally in part because it was always\u00a0imagined as a place different from the urban areas of commercial activity (sometimes frenetic) surrounding it.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u63d0\u8bae\u5728\u4e0eCarrer Canuda\u548c\u5e7f\u573a\u4e1c\u4fa7\u76f8\u540c\u7684\u6c34\u5e73\u4e0a\u4fee\u5efa\u4e00\u7247\u4e2d\u592e\u8349\u5730\u3002\u8fd9\u7247\u571f\u5730\u4e0a\u94fa\u6ee1\u4e86\u8349\uff0c\u73b0\u5b58\u7684\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u6811\u6728\u90fd\u88ab\u4fdd\u5b58\u4e86\u4e0b\u6765\u3002\u7eff\u8349\u5982\u8335\u7684\u8868\u9762\u6162\u6162\u5411\u4e0b\u503e\u659c\u81f3\u7f57\u9a6c\u5893\u5730\u7684\u9ad8\u5ea6\u3002<\/p>\n

The project proposed a\u00a0central stretch of grass on the same level as Carrer Canuda and the eastern side of the square. This stretch is carpeted with grass\u00a0and most of the existing trees were preserved. The grassy surface slopes gently down to the level of the Roman necropolis.<\/p>\n
