Heneghan Peng Architects<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aThe mission of the Palestinian Museum is to be the leading, most credible and robust platform for shaping and communicating knowledge about Palestinian history, society and culture.\u00a0To deliver on this mission, the client\u2019s intention has been to develop a Palestinian Museum hub located 25km north of Jerusalem (West Bank), and in two phases of building construction.\u00a0Phase 1 (completed 2016) consists of a built area of 3, 500SM. It includes a climate-controlled gallery space, an amphitheatre, a cafeteria with outdoor seating, a library, classrooms, storage, a gift shop and administrative spaces; all set within 4 hectares of planned gardens.\u00a0During Phase 2; the Museum will expand to a total of 10, 000SM.<\/p>\n

\u5df4\u52d2\u65af\u5766\u535a\u7269\u9986\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u878d\u5165\u4e86\u8be5\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u7279\u8272\uff0c\u6db5\u76d6\u4e86\u57ce\u5e02\u4e2d\u7684\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u5143\u7d20\uff0c\u8bb2\u8ff0\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5173\u4e8e\u5e72\u9884\u3001\u751f\u4ea7\u3001\u6587\u5316\u3001\u73af\u5883\u548c\u5546\u4e1a\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u68af\u7530\u666f\u89c2\u5df2\u7ecf\u878d\u5165\u4e86\u8fd9\u5ea7\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u5386\u53f2\uff0c\u5df4\u52d2\u65af\u5766\u535a\u7269\u9986\u7684\u505a\u6cd5\u662f\u5229\u7528\u68af\u7530\u666f\u89c2\u7684\u8fd9\u6bb5\u5386\u53f2\uff0c\u5c06\u535a\u7269\u9986\u5d4c\u5165\u5176\u7d27\u90bb\u4e4b\u5730\uff0c\u5e76\u4ece\u8fd9\u91cc\u5f00\u59cb\u8bb2\u8ff0\u4e00\u4e2a\u66f4\u5927\u3001\u66f4\u591a\u5143\u5316\u7684\u6587\u5316\u6545\u4e8b\u3002\u8be5\u573a\u5730\u662f\u901a\u8fc7\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u5c42\u53e0\u7684\u68af\u7530\u5f62\u6210\u7684\uff0c\u68af\u7530\u662f\u7531\u8be5\u5730\u533a\u4ee5\u524d\u7684\u519c\u4e1a\u68af\u7530\u7684\u7530\u57c2\u780c\u6210\u7684\u3002\u8be5\u666f\u89c2\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\u662f\uff1a\u4ece\u6587\u5316\u666f\u89c2\u5230\u539f\u751f\u666f\u89c2\uff0c\u968f\u7740\u8d8a\u6765\u8d8a\u591a\u7684\u6587\u5316\u901a\u8fc7\u5efa\u7b51\u9644\u8fd1\u7684\u68af\u7530\u5c55\u5f00\uff0c\u79cd\u690d\u666f\u89c2\u4e5f\u4f1a\u968f\u7740\u4eba\u4eec\u5411\u897f\u9762\u7684\u68af\u7530\u79fb\u52a8\u800c\u9010\u6e10\u53d1\u751f\u53d8\u5316\u3002<\/p>\n

The landscape of the Palestine has the \u2018worked\u2019 quality of a city; every element of it has been touched and tells a story of intervention, production, culture, environment and commerce. Like a city, the terraced landscape has embedded within it its history.\u00a0The approach to the Palestinian Museum is to draw on this history of the terraced landscape, embedding the museum into its immediate site and drawing from this site to tell a larger story of a diverse culture.\u00a0The site is formed through a series of cascading terraces, created by field stone walls which trace the previous agricultural terraces of the area.\u00a0The theme of the landscape; from the cultural to the native landscape, unfolds across the terraces with the more cultured and domesticated terraces close to the building, the planting changes gradually as one moves down the terraces to the west.<\/p>\n

\u68af\u7530\u7684\u68af\u7ea7\u8bb2\u8ff0\u4e86\u8fd9\u91cc\u6709\u5173\u7684\u5404\u79cd\u6545\u4e8b\uff1a\u901a\u8fc7\u8d38\u6613\u8def\u7ebf\u5f15\u8fdb\u67d1\u6a58\u3001\u672c\u5730\u7684\u82b3\u9999\u8349\u672c\u690d\u7269\uff0c\u4e30\u5bcc\u591a\u6837\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e1c\u897f\u65b9\u7684\u8054\u7cfb\u3002\u68af\u7530\u4e3b\u9898\u5305\u62ec\uff1a\u6587\u5316\u666f\u89c2\u548c\u4e0e\u6587\u5316\u5386\u53f2\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u4e3b\u9898\uff0c\u519c\u4e1a\u9057\u4ea7\u3001\u690d\u7269\u4e0e\u8d38\u6613\u8def\u7ebf\u548c\u5546\u4e1a\u7684\u5173\u7cfb\u3002\u81ea\u7136\u666f\u89c2\u548c\u4e3b\u9898\uff0c\u8352\u91ce\u548c\u672c\u5730\u690d\u7269\u3001\u704c\u6728\u6797\u5730\u3001\u8349\u5730\u76f8\u7ed3\u5408\u3002<\/p>\n

The cascade of terraces tells a diversity of stories; citrus brought in through trade routes, native aromatic herbs, a rich and varied landscape with connections east and west.\u00a0Terrace themes include:\u00a0Cultural Landscapes and themes relating to culture and history,\u00a0Agricultural Heritage,\u00a0Relationship of plants to trade routes and commerce.\u00a0Natural Landscapes and themes relating to wilderness and native plants, scrub lands, grass lands.<\/p>\n
