Inside Outside \/ Petra Blaisse<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u56fe\u4e66\u9986\u5927\u697c\u4f3c\u4e4e\u662f\u4ece\u5176\u4ed6\u5730\u65b9\u964d\u843d\u5230\u8fd9\u91cc\u7684\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u5468\u56f4\u7559\u4e0b\u4e86\u4e0d\u5747\u5300\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u57fa\u4e8e\u56fe\u4e66\u9986\u9644\u8fd1\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u7b56\u7565\uff0c\u4e86\u89e3\u4e86\u57ce\u5e02\u5efa\u7b51\u548c\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u6570\u91cf\u548c\u4e0d\u89c4\u5219\u5f62\u72b6\u7684\u591a\u6837\u6027\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u8ba4\u4e3a\u5e94\u8be5\u7b80\u5316\u65b0\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u800c\u4e0d\u662f\u5c06\u5176\u590d\u6742\u5316\u3002\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u63d0\u51fa\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u7b80\u5316\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u65b9\u6848\uff1a\u5728\u571f\u58e4\u4e2d\u690d\u5165\u4e00\u7ec4\u5706\u5f62\u5370\u8bb0\uff0c\u79cd\u690d\u4e09\u79cd\u4e0d\u540c\u7c7b\u578b\u7684\u8010\u65f1\u690d\u7269\uff1a\u91d1\u5408\u6b22\u3001\u5927\u621f\u548c\u9f99\u820c\u5170\u3002<\/p>\n

Inside Outside \/ Petra Blaisse<\/strong><\/a>: \u00a0The library building seems to have landed from elsewhere onto the site, leaving uneven amounts of linear space around its four sides. Looking at the city plan in the vicinity of the Library and recognizing the amount of developments and the diversity of irregular shapes used for buildings and gardens, one tends to feel the need to simplify rather then complicate the design for a new garden. Inside Outside therefore proposes a simple garden recipe: a group of circular imprints into the soil, planted with families of three different types of drought tolerant vegetation: Acacia, Euphorbia and Agave.<\/p>\n

The effect of the logic we use for the concave, circular imprints \u2013 their changing size and depth – will be, that less of the same species will grow on a higher view level in the smaller areas; and more of the same species will grow on a lower level out of the larger circular areas\u2026thus providing surprise and change with a minimum of variation. Our aim is to water the plants, succulents and trees only in the first few years \u2013 until they have settled \u2013 and to refrain from watering the plantings after this period.<\/p>\n

\u8fd9\u4e2a\u82b1\u56ed\u5c06\u662f\u5177\u6709\u6559\u80b2\u610f\u4e49\u7684\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u53ef\u4ee5\u7814\u7a76\u5f53\u5730\u6c14\u5019\u548c\u571f\u58e4\u73af\u5883\u4e0b\u540c\u79d1\u5c5e\u7684\u4e0d\u540c\u79cd\u690d\u7269\u7684\u751f\u957f\u72b6\u51b5\u3002\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u5730\u9762\u2014\u2014\u5373\u5706\u5751\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u533a\u57df\u2014\u2014\u662f\u7531\u5f53\u5730\u77f3\u7070\u77f3\u5236\u6210\uff0c\u5c06\u77f3\u6750\u5207\u5272\u6210\u7c97\u7cd9\u7684\u77e9\u5f62\u7816\u5757\u5d4c\u5165\u6c99\u5730\u4e4b\u4e2d\uff0c\u8fd9\u5c06\u5728\u5706\u5f62\u51f9\u9762\u79cd\u690d\u533a\u4e4b\u95f4\u521b\u9020\u51fa\u4e00\u4e2a\u7565\u5fae\u4e0d\u89c4\u5219\u4f46\u53ef\u4ee5\u901a\u884c\u7684\u6c99\u8272\u5730\u9762\u3002<\/p>\n

Thus the garden will become an educational one, where various species of one family can be studied in the local climate and soil conditions. The main surface of the garden \u2013 the area in-between the imprints \u2013 is made of local limestone, cut into rough rectangular blocks and embedded in sand. This will create a slightly irregular but walkable plane in the color of sand, in-between round concave planting areas.<\/p>\n
