– 01 -深圳首个自然主题儿童公园 The First Nature-themed Children’s Park in Shenzhen

坪山儿童公园位于坪山区碧岭街道沙湖社区，占地面积约5.7万平方米，南依马峦山风景区，社区生活成熟，自然风景优美。

作为深圳第一个区级专类儿童公园，公园秉持自然生态、自然游乐、自然教育理念，打造“山水相依”、“寄教于乐”、“林溪探险”、“创意生境”的自然游乐公园。

Pingshan Children’s Park is located in Shahu Community, Biling Street, Pingshan District, covering an area of about 57,000 square meters, south of the Ma Luan Mountain scenic area, with rich community life and beautiful natural scenery.

As the first district-level specialized children’s park in Shenzhen, the park upholds the concept of nature & ecology, nature & play and nature & education to create a nature play park featured with “mountain and water”, “playing to learn”, “jungle adventure” and “creative habitats”.

– 02 – 自然策略下的低干预设计 Low-intervention design with natural strategies

公园坚持尊重自然、保护自然的理念，充分利用了场地原有的地形地貌与山体资源，最大限度地保留原有自然山貌和植物群落多样性的特征。

The park adheres to the concept of respecting and protecting nature, makes full use of the original topography and mountain resources onsite, and retains the characteristics of the original mountain landscape and diversity of plant communities to the maximum extent.

▽低干预下的自然改造 Low Impact Transformation

按照原生态、近自然、少迁树的原则，公园完全保留了建设范围内原有的荔枝林，并通过底层植被梳理、辅以平衡木等设施，营造成可供儿童游玩、休憩、攀爬的林下亲子游乐空间。

巧妙地将自然地形地貌与儿童游乐设施相融合，通过梯级平台与空中连廊弥补高差，利用高差设置了爬梯、滑索等游乐设施。

利用山体自然走势，打造科普湿地，雨水花园，生态旱溪，将自然生态规律融入儿童教育中。

In accordance with the principles of original ecology, close to nature and less tree relocation, the park completely preserves the original lychee forest within the construction area. And through brushing bottom layer of vegetation, adding log trail and other facilities, it creates a spontaneous space under the forest for children to run, rest and climb.

The natural topography is tactfully integrated with children’s playgrounds, and the height difference is connected by green slopes and a skywalk corridor. The existing scarps are utilized to create climbing ladders, zip lines and other play facilities require elevation drop.

The park gathers water from natural mountain watershed to create a terraced educational wetland, rain gardens, and bio swales, the natural ecological laws are integrated into children’s education.

– 03 – 大树学园自然游乐场 Forest School Nature Playground

互联网时代已几乎使我们成为与自然彻底决裂的新物种，再加上凶猛的城镇化浪潮、危机重重的环境污染，我们的孩子们，会成为“林间最后的小孩”，缺少与大自然亲近的机会。过往的人类童年，孩子们在自然中上山爬树，好不自在。

为了让孩子们重回自然，重建与大自然的联结，坪山儿童公园以“大树学园”为核心设计主题，营建全市独一无二的野趣公园。理解周围的生命，最大限度开发感官，在玩耍的同时促进自由探索和发挥创造力。

The Internet era has almost made us a new species that has completely disconnected from nature. With the ferocious wave of urbanization and environmental pollution, our children may become the “last child in the woods”, lacking the opportunity to get close to nature. On the contrary, in the good old day, children spent their childhood in nature climbing mountains and trees and swimming in the rivers.

To bring children back to nature and to heal the broken bond, Pingshan Children’s Park is designed with the core theme of “Forest School” to create a unique wild park in an urban context. So that children can better understanding life around them, developing their sensation to the fullest, and promoting freedom of exploration and creativity while playing.

– 04 – 多主题游戏体验 Multi-themed Gaming Experiences

结合现状自然基底及活动内容，打造不同主题的游乐分区。

丛林探险区 Jungle Adventure Area

利用场地原有的山体地形建设了更加具有丰富性和趣味性的儿童空间，这种丰富的地形变化元素带来了复杂和挑战，加大了孩子们的好奇心和探索欲，也鼓励孩子们在可以接受的冒险中发展自己的能力。

Combine existing natural base and activities to create different themed play areas.

The original mountain topography was utilized to build an interactive and interesting space for children. The variation of terrain elevation brings complexity and challenge, increasing children’s curiosity and desire to explore, and encouraging children to develop their skills through adventures.

自然课堂区 Nature Classroom Area

自然课堂区通过自然化的语言寄教于乐，让孩子们在自然游乐中去学习自然、领悟自然。构建起多重的儿童天性所需要的空间，帮助儿童在情感、社交、益智和相互学习上的成长，激发孩子们的感官训练，提升儿童的自然印记。

The nature classroom area teaches and entertains via the nature language, allowing children to learn and understand nature through play. It builds up a multiple-dimensional space that helps children grow emotionally, socially, educationally, and more importantly, to promote sensory stimulation and to embrace what the nature offers.

山林溪谷区 Forest Valley Area

山林溪谷区是公园运营管理的核心区域，青青草儿童书房既是森林的守护者也是服务市民、儿童科普的休闲场馆。通过商业运营的咖啡馆以及纪念品馆，可以有效提高公园本身的人气活力，同时也为公园自我盈利和更新提供了基础支持。

The Forest Valley area is the core area of the park’s operation and management. The Green Grass Children’s Library is a guardian of the forest as well as a leisure and education center for the public. A Café and souvenir store increase park’s popularity, while generating revenue to cover part of park’s operating cost.

– 05 – 自然感官体验 Natural Sensory Experiences

使用木材、石材和大量天然材料，激发触感和刺激；修复多样生态系统，使鸟声蛙鸣成为感受自然一部分。树木、树桩、石头、水、沙子及绳索等游乐互动增强了儿童对真实自然材料的认知。

The use of wood, stone and many natural materials stimulates the sense of touch and connection; It also restores diverse ecosystems and brings back sound of birds and frogs. Trees, stumps, stones, water, sand, and ropes provide a variety of playful interactions that promotes better perception of nature.

公园采用自然消隐感的处理手法，最大程度将景观构筑、游乐设施融于自然环境。

The park adopted a natural design approach, blending buildings, landscape structures and park facilities into the natural surroundings.

抬头见山色，侧耳听鸟鸣。让孩子们在自然环境中游玩和释放自我，建立与自然的联结和认同。如华兹华斯所说：“以自然为师”，大树学园润物细无声般的自然而然的自然教育，将激发儿童热爱自然的情怀及终身受益的自由探索精神。

Great mountain view and chirping birds… Children are encouraged to play in a natural way to unleash their potential, establishing a strong connection with nature. As William Wordsworth said, “Let Nature be your teacher.” The spontaneous education created by The Forest School will inspire children to fall in love with nature and enjoy a lifelong spirit of exploration.
