In a strong collaboration effort with the architects, Terra Ferma Landscapes designed a planting palette to work with this small, refined garden in Atherton. The pool terrace features precision cut Basalt slabs carefully prepared and installed by our own masons. Larger gaps between the stones rhythmically punctuate the terrace, teeming with a mix of creeping thyme, cranesbill, and blue-star creeper. The board-form concrete planter doubles as a pool feature wall, supporting the custom metal water feature fabricated by Archie Held floating above the pool.
