21 Arquitectos:The project is located in a private urbanization in the northern area of the municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, this land has a quite unique topographic characteristic since it was located within an interior glen, which was characterized by having a downward slope almost constant throughout it, this generated as a result a difference of almost 10 m between street level 00 and the lowest point of the land, it is due to this situation that the decision is made to generate a proposal based on the fragmentation of a main block in 4 of different blocks in a descending way, in such a way that these are integrated into the natural unevenness of the site, prioritizing the generation of openings towards the North, which is in this case where there is a direct correlation with the area natural forest.

The architectural program is divided into four floors: With a land area of 1597.18 m2. A basement of 285.16 m2, with a parking area for up to 10 vehicles, a games room with direct connection to a terrace with a pool at the back of the land, and in its central part a vertical distribution core that on its side North connects with the service basement and on its south side the staircase leads to the main hall of the house.

On the ground floor in 203.84 m2 the entire social area of the same is located (Hall, Guest Bathroom, Visitor’s Closet, Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, Pantry and a Study Bedroom with independent bathroom), a main hall at triple height with a dry garden on your part central framed by an arrayan almost 6 meters high is what welcomes you when you open the doors of the house, large clearings and almost no solid elements, which help to delimit only what is necessary and in the same way allow a free opening to the part of the forest that is in the back zone.

A staircase of floating wooden steps is the connection between the ground floor and the mezzanine level, of 189.36 m2, which is articulated by a TV room in its central part, a tempered glass bridge that connects the different areas, an area of gym with uninterrupted view at the back, a library and the work office on the opposite side of it, finally the staircase area to the private area and an exit to a large outdoor terrace on the side.

Following the vertical distributor in the form of a steel plate paper that seems to float in the air, we have access to the upper level, of 205.85 m2 we find the private area of the house, 2 secondary bedrooms symmetrically distributed with its own bathroom and dressing room with glazed view totally open to the rear forest and a large part of the city, and the main bedroom on its opposite side, with 2 dressing rooms inside it, an area for bags, and a private bathroom, complement the program of this bedroom, for the outer part a glass bridge generates the link between the rooms, in its final part there is a white closet and an access to the part of the roofs.

The palette of materials used for this project is constituted as follows: On the Main Facade, we have walls with flattened mortar and paint in colors attached to a gray scale, elements in apparent concrete and wood in the form of latticework. A descending staircase of washed concrete performs the function of pedestrian access to the house, in the same way a ramp and a stamped concrete garage, performs the same function for vehicular access.

Once the tour of said stair is concluded we have an exterior hall, which creates a small atmosphere of warmth that welcomes you while you wait for your entrance to the house, a wooden deck floor, with a view of the gardens, accompany the 2 large pots of Steel Plate with a tree of the myrtle species each, all this delimited by a protection of Tempered Crystals that delimit the space, but at the same time allow free visual towards the outside.

After crossing the main door which was made with walnut staves of different sizes, we have the main lobby, which welcomes us with the warmth generated by an engineered walnut wood floor, which extends throughout the project, as a distinctive element in its central part we have a dry garden based on small loose gravel, with a black steel pot and an arrayan tree in its central part, a space that is delimited by apparent concrete walls that also from serving as structural elements, these act as contrasting elements that in turn are perfectly integrated into the general composition of the project.

Once inside, we can see that most of the walls are made of clear glass with stainless steel fittings, with a view towards the back forest. The few walls and the slab are flattened with mortar polished in plaster with matt white paint. The floors throughout the interior area of the house are made up of walnut engineered wood staves and marble in gray tones for all bathroom areas.

Outside, the large expanses of gardens with local vegetation and a pool with an artificial waterfall as a complementary element complement the composition of the space. All the interior carpentry (Doors, Steps, Bathroom Furniture, Closets, Lattices, Coatings), are made of walnut wood.

Furniture
The interior furniture is almost mostly designer furniture for this project, attached to the integration with the concept of the house, in each of these, an attachment to the contemporary was sought, but at the same time looking for warmth in the furniture, it was for this reason that materials such as walnut woods and grayscale microfiber fabrics, top the list of materials chosen for this item.

Kitchen
The Kitchen Design is also a unique proposal by the firm for this project. The kitchen is proposed in an open C-shape, with a central island, which would contain two interlocking bars of granite and parota wood respectively, with the grill area on one side, and a breakfast bar on the handsome side. The cupboard area is a high- gloss wooden rectangle with a central extraction where the preparation area and the sink are located, the hot tower and the cooling area are located on the opposite side of it. In the equipment part, the refrigerators are from the Frigidaire brand while the ovens, hoods and grills part were from the General Electric supplier.

Lighting
The lighting in the exteriors was managed almost entirely with indirect lighting through courtesy lights, bathing each of the volumes in a strategic way to create different sensations of warmth and depth in them. For the interior, lights were placed in the skies in an equidistant way, these were almost mostly small led lamps of 3w to 7w intensity. In the areas of emphasis such as the dining room and study, it was proposed to place hanging lamps which were composed of one or more elements depending on the case, which in addition to fulfilling the function of generating luminosity in specific areas, these by themselves created a environment of aesthetic harmony with the composition, both lit at night, as well as a simple decorative element throughout the day. The brands selected on this occasion as the supplier of the lamps were tecno lite, all of which were supplied with the exception of the pendants, which were imported through an external supplier.
