“空间之间”工作室：“气候盒子”将生命与气候抽象为内外嵌套的盒子，在有限的空间内，双重结构与动态界面巧妙消弭内外边界，使花园与周边自然融合：远观时，木构掩映于林木间；穿行其中，界面开合，镜面摇曳；步入盒内，花园在斑驳光影中与镜面倒影交织，为观者开启一个随天气流转的感知之盒。

CQU Inter-Space Studio: The “Climate Adaptor” recasts life and climate as two nested volumes. Within a limited area, hinged shutters and mirrored panels erode the line between inside and out, letting the garden leak into the woodland beyond.From afar, the timber frame sits quietly under the trees; closer, its walls breathe—mirrors quiver, canopies tip. Step within and the garden folds back on itself, a box that silently shifts and flows with every change in the weather.

设计概念

气候是影响生命进程的重要因素，生命在气候变迁的过程中，展现出万象森罗的风采。设计以万物生灵对天气的适应为灵感，将生命和气候抽象为两个盒子。通过将两个盒子嵌套形成主体形态，划分出内外两层花园。每层花园设置对应不同气候的开合界面，在界面上设置镜像、窗景的视觉效果，联系内外景色，塑造气候驱动的视觉变幻，创造出随天而动的虚实花园。

Design Concept

Climate shapes every living rhythm; life, in return, flashes its colours as the weather turns.The garden takes its cue from that dialogue.We recast “life” and “climate” as two interlocking frames: an inner box slipped inside an outer one, giving the plot its bones and its skin.Operable shutters, mirrors and narrow opening are tucked into both layers, letting wind, light or rain finish the design.The result is a garden that is always tuned to the weather.

构造设计

方案构建了一个5米×3米×3米的主体框架，采用不同规格木材与金属连接件组合，形成稳定的承重结构。框架两侧固定不锈钢风动片；顶部铰接传动连接装置，实现亚克力挡雨板与亚克力盒联动；内部的盒子由木板三面围合，通过不锈钢绳以四点斜拉与上拉的方式悬吊于外框，呈现悬浮效果。

Structural Design

Primary structure: a 5 m × 3 m × 3 m timber frame, built from a combination of different timber specifications and metal connectors to ensure a stable, load-bearing structure.Stainless steel kinetic panels are fixed to the two sides of the frame. The roof structure incorporates a hinged transmission mechanism that links the acrylic rain shield with the acrylic box.Inside, three timber panels line the inner box; eight stainless-steel cables (four raked, four vertical) carry it from the outer frame, so it hovers just above ground.

自适应顶棚：动态开合的界面

顶界面由16片亚克力板组成一套可响应雨水的动态开合装置。晴天时，顶板因自身重力自然张开；下雨时，雨水被连接顶板的海绵和亚克力盒吸收，从而改变重心，驱动顶棚自动闭合。经实验，10分钟的2.5mm的降雨量即可实现顶界面完全闭合。雨停后，随着水分蒸发，顶板逐步复位，重新开启以迎接阳光。此外，观者亦可向垂下的盒子中放置物品，直接与顶界面互动，体验人为的“气候”干预乐趣。

Adaptive panel: A Dynamic Interface for Opening and Closing

Sixteen clear-acrylic panels form a rain-actuated canopy. In dry weather their own weight keeps them open; once rain lands, the sponges and acrylic boxes attached to each panel absorb water, shifting the centre of gravity and tilting the panels inward. A 2.5 mm shower lasting 10 min is enough to close the roof completely. When the sponges and boxes dry out the canopy re-opens, letting daylight back in. Visitors can also drop objects into the suspended boxes to tip the panels by hand and feel the same gravity-driven “climate” mechanism at work.

风动镜面：虚实相映的光影剧场

构筑的两个侧面由数百片风动镜片组成，微风拂过，镜片随之轻盈摆动，将周围的树木、天空与人的身影切割、重组，形成流动的视觉画面。

Kinetic mirror panels: where reflections fold reality and illusion into one shifting light-drama
The two side facades of the structure are composed of hundreds of kinetic mirror panels. A light breeze sets them rocking, so the woods, sky and onlookers break into shards of light that instantly re-merge— a dynamic and flowing visual tapestry.

中心盒子内侧装贴镜面，与内部的植物以及外侧摇曳的风动片相互反射。阳光透过顶板及框架的间隙，形成斑驳的光影。内外景致、真实与倒影在此交织，增强空间的延伸感与进深感，创造出超越物理边界的、虚实相映的奇妙体验。

The inner surfaces of the central box are lined with mirrors, creating an interplay of reflections with the internal planting and the swaying kinetic panels on the exterior. The sun slips through roof slits and frame gaps, throwing shifting patches of light and shade. Reflections fold real and virtual together, stretching the space until garden, sky and visitor seem to share one breath.

镜中花园：充满野趣的生命核心

内部空间以植物为核心视觉要素，采用黄、蓝紫色撞色的线性花卉，搭配松软的观赏草，塑造具有强大适应性的野趣花园，反映气候变化下跃动的生命力；植物既是气候界面映射的主角，亦是内部花园的围合边界，使得盒子成为一个洋溢着鲜花、绿叶、林荫的自然美学空间。

Garden in the Mirror: a wild, living heart where nature and reflection share one breath
Plant is the focal point of the inner box.We use linear floral arrangements in striking yellow and blue-violet contrast, set against a backdrop of soft, ornamental grasses.Together they create a garden that feels both untamed and indestructible, a symbol of life learning to live with the weather.

The planting does two things at once: it steals the show, and they act as the enclosing boundary for the inner garden. What was a simple box is now a vibrant, natural world of blossom, leaf and shifting shadow.

“气候盒子”不仅仅是一个观赏对象，更是与自然互动的媒介。在这一方小盒中，多重互动装置与开放空间巧妙结合，为人们提供了一个重新与植物及气候建立连接的契机。

Climate Adapter is not a sculpture but a medium for interaction with nature.Within this small, contained structure, multiple interactive installations are cleverly integrated with the open space. This combination offers people an opportunity to re-establish a connection with both plant life and the climate.
