拾集建筑：上生新所二期导视系统并非一期的简单延续，而是一次大胆的突破与创新。经过多年运营，上生新所已成功蜕变为深受年轻人追捧的文化地标，而二期建筑本身也极具特色与辨识度。基于此，设计师与甲方设计团队经过多轮深入研讨，最终达成共识：摒弃传统导视系统独立存在的设计思路，转而采用“寄生标识”的全新理念，使导视系统与建筑本体形成一种既依附融合又相对独立的共生关系。

XU Studio：The guide system of Phase II is not a mere continuation of the first phase but a bold breakthrough and innovation. After years of operation, Columbia Circle has successfully transformed into a cultural landmark highly sought after by the younger generation, and the architecture of the second phase itself is distinctive and recognizable. Based on this, after multiple rounds of in-depth discussions, the designers and the client’s design team reached a consensus: to abandon the traditional approach of an independent guide system and instead adopt the new concept of ” parasitic identification.” This creates a symbiotic relationship between the guide system and the building itself.

Guide Design: From “Integration” to “Symbiosis,” Crafting a Destination Loved by the Youth

一期泳池的马赛克元素始终被视为项目的“灵魂”，承载着上生新所的历史记忆与文化底蕴。在二期导视设计中，设计师巧妙提取了泳池马赛克的三种经典色彩，并以方块为基本形态进行演变与组合，将历史元素与现代设计语言完美融合，既保留了项目的文化传承，又赋予了导视系统全新的视觉活力。

The pool mosaic in Phase I have always been regarded as the “soul” of the project, carrying the historical memory and cultural heritage of Columbia Circle. In the design of the Phase II guide system, the designers ingeniously extracted three classic colors from the pool mosaics and used squares as the basic form for evolution and combination. This perfectly blends historical elements with modern design language, preserving the cultural heritage of the project while infusing the guide system with new visual vitality.

新增导视：功能与美学的双重升级，打造便捷舒适的园区体验

Additional Guide: Dual Upgrade of Functionality and Aesthetics, Creating a Convenient and Comfortable Campus Experience

随着上生新所二期正式对外开放，园区规模进一步扩大，对导视系统的功能性也提出了更高要求。为满足访客快速定位、便捷通行的需求，我们精心设计了全新的园区导视系统。

得益于与上生新所的长期深度合作——包括一期商业氛围提升、租户商铺导则设计、二期建筑细化、公共区域设计及导视系统规划等——我们对园区的历史文脉、建筑特色以及访客行为习惯有着深刻的理解与洞察。在此次导视设计中，我们从历保建筑及特色建筑中提炼核心元素，将其抽象化为简洁明了的图形符号，并结合特色材质进行艺术化呈现。同时，我们特别注重夜间导视效果，通过精心设计的灯光系统，确保导视信息在夜晚依然清晰可辨，为访客提供全天候的导引服务。

随着地下停车场的投入使用，安西路入口也迎来了全面升级改造。针对该区域，我们特别设计了清晰醒目的停车导引装置，并巧妙融入附近建筑的金属网元素，以简洁的构造打造出兼具遮阳功能与视觉美感的导视装置。这一设计不仅有效避免了传统遮阳伞带来的视觉杂乱问题，也解决了大风天气下收纳不便的困扰，充分体现了人性化设计理念。

With the official opening of Phase II, the campus scale has further expanded, placing higher demands on the functionality of the guide system. To meet visitors’ needs for quick wayfinding and convenient navigation, we meticulously designed brand new campus guide system.

Thanks to our long-term and in-depth collaboration with Columbia Circle—including the enhancement of the phase I commercial atmosphere, tenant shop guideline design, phase II architectural refinement, public area design, and guide system design—we have a profound understanding and insight into the campus’s historical context, architectural features, and visitor behavior patterns. In this guide design, we extracted core elements from the historic preservation buildings and distinctive buildings, abstracting them into concise and clear graphic symbols, and presenting them artistically with characteristic materials. At the same time, we paid special attention to the nighttime effect, ensuring that the wayfinding information remains clear and visible at night through a carefully designed lighting system.

With the opening of the underground parking lot, the Anxi Road entrance has also undergone a comprehensive upgrade. For this area, we specially designed clear and eye-catching parking guidance devices, ingeniously integrating the metal mesh elements from nearby buildings to create a guiding installation that combines shading functionality with visual aesthetics through a concise structure. This design not only effectively avoids the visual clutter caused by traditional sunshades but also addresses the inconvenience of storage during windy weather, fully embodying the concept of humanized design.

The guide system of Columbia Circle Phase II is not only a continuation and evolution of the Phase I aesthetics but also a comprehensive upgrade in functionality and user experience. We believe that this wayfinding system, which integrates artistry, practicality, and humanization, will provide visitors with a clearer, more convenient, and comfortable campus experience, further enhancing Columbia Circle’s appeal and influence as a cultural landmark.
