KAICHUANG REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT：Rooted in Datong’s profound historical and cultural heritage spanning over 2,300 years, HuBu Corner adheres to the guiding principles of “preserving historical context, retaining the essence of local life, and enriching the ancient city’s commercial ecosystem.” It cultivates a lifestyle that harmoniously blends fast-paced and leisurely living, embodying a business philosophy characterized by “the integration of tradition and modernity, cultural inheritance, and shared spaces.” With a total investment of approximately 3 billion RMB, the project covers an area of about 142 mu and boasts a total construction area of around 150,000 square meters. It is masterfully planned to include courtyard residences in the national style and high-quality cultural tourism commerce.

一巷一韵致，一户一风骨。户部角沿袭北魏平城坊的里坊肌理，塑造“五街两轴六景”的规划美学，令四合院境启风雅，循清《工程则例》汲取传统官式四合院规制精髓，承袭“以形拢气“的手法布局单体建筑，汇聚“五行八作”能工巧匠，还原国家级非物质文化遗产中的四合院营造技艺，严格以轻盈、精致的现代工艺刻画明清官式四合院的历史及文化属性，圆满千年精神着落，赓续大同家族的千年荣光。

HuBu Corner: Qing-style Official Mansions & Courtyard Houses

Each lane possesses its unique charm, every household its distinct character. HuBu Corner follows the neighborhood unit layout of the Pingcheng Blocks from the Northern Wei Dynasty, creating a planning aesthetic of “Five Streets, Two Axes, and Six Scenic Spots.” This design elevates the courtyard homes to an elegant realm. Drawing essence from the traditional regulations of official-style courtyard houses as documented in the Qing Dynasty “Engineering Precedents,” the project employs the “form gathering energy” approach in arranging individual structures. It brings together master artisans from diverse traditional trades to restore the courtyard construction techniques recognized as national intangible cultural heritage. Meticulously crafted with lightweight and refined modern methods, these techniques vividly capture the historical and cultural attributes of Ming and Qing official-style courtyard complexes, fulfilling the millennial spiritual yearning and perpetuating the enduring glory of Datong’s lineage.

在中国建筑中，木雕无处不在，其中金丝楠木一直被视为最理想、最珍贵、最高级的建筑用材，冬暖夏凉、纹理细密瑰丽，在宫殿苑囿中被广泛应用，户部角以其作为悬鱼、惹草、雀替、荷叶墩、翼形拱、斗拱的雕刻原材，雕花精美，色泽鲜艳，在细微中见证中国宅院的顶级法度。

Wood: Classical Heritage and Contemporary Revival

In Chinese architecture, wood carving is ubiquitous, with Phoebe zhennan (golden camphor wood) long revered as the most ideal, precious, and superior building material. Naturally cool in summer and warm in winter, it exhibits an exquisite and magnificent grain. Extensively used in palaces and imperial gardens, HuBu Corner employs this wood for crafting suspended fish ornaments, reycao decorations, queti brackets, lotus leaf corbels, wing-shaped arches, and dougong brackets. Each intricately carved, vibrant in hue, these details epitomize the highest standards of Chinese residential craftsmanship in their subtlety.

砖的肌理与东方雅意

起源于战国时期的青砖，几千年来一直在为中国工匠提供着源源不断的灵感，压的时间越久，雕的深度越深，绽放的光芒愈加灿烂。户部角于博古脊、影壁、戗檐砖、墀头增加文化美意和造型规制，铭刻风去月来的源远流长。

Originating in the Warring States period, blue bricks have for millennia provided Chinese artisans with endless inspiration. The longer the pressing, the deeper the carving, the more radiant the final brilliance. At HuBu Corner, cultural aesthetics and formal principles are enhanced through patterned ridges, screen walls, brick eaves, and chitou gables—etching the passage of wind and moon into enduring legacy.

石的望族权威与荣耀

石雕，是望族的权威与荣耀，更是中国府院的“家徽”。户部角采用幻彩灰、蝴蝶黑、芝麻灰花岗岩，纹理均匀、大气巍然，天工镌刻在柱础石、勒脚石、青石抱鼓石之上，成为隐于一步一踏间的“至美细节”。

Stone: Authority and Glory of Noble Lineages

Stone carving symbolizes the authority and honor of eminent families, serving as the “family emblem” of Chinese manor estates. HuBu Corner employs Fantasy Gray, Butterfly Black, and Sesame Gray granites—uniform in texture and majestic in presence. Artisanal mastery is engraved into plinth stones, foundation footings, and bluestone drum-bearing stones, transforming each step into a hidden detail of supreme beauty.

铜的淬炼与千凿万锤

精细的工艺，苛刻的追求，黄铜在工匠的手中经历数以万次的捶打、精雕细琢，遂成刻有吉祥纹饰的铜额枋、辅首衔环，当历史文化的厚重与现代技艺的精工相得益彰，便传递出“非富即贵”的门第符号。

Copper: Refinement Through Fire and Hammer

Through meticulous craftsmanship and exacting standards, brass endures tens of thousands of hammer strikes and precision carving under artisans’ hands. It is transformed into engraved architraves adorned with auspicious motifs and ring-holding door knockers. 琉璃采用优质矿石原料，高温烧制而成，其色流云漓彩，晶莹剔透，属国家第二批非物质文化遗产。户部角的琉璃吻兽沉积历史的华丽，以半透明的内敛，保留着不可磨损的色彩，更具东方气质；

New Artisanal Materials: Crafting Luxurious and Refined Structures

Colored glaze, fired at high temperatures from premium mineral sources, displays flowing, opalescent hues and a crystalline translucence. Recognized as part of China’s second batch of intangible cultural heritage, the glazed roof beasts of HuBu Corner embody historical splendor. Their semi-transparent restraint preserves an imperishable color, resonating with profound Eastern character.

铝包木系统门窗，通过现代技术将铝附着在木材表面，形成“刚柔并济”的框架，创造全新建材的古韵表达，实现建筑的百年经久。

瓷雕椽头、飞头扣件源自景德镇定制，红白色釉面传承青花瓷意蕴，吉祥纹饰流光溢彩，椽飞相映，奢华气度，臻贵入理，雕琢出足以传世的建筑美学。

Aluminum-clad wood windows and doors merge modern technology with traditional material—aluminum bonded to wood surfaces creates a frame that “unites strength and flexibility.” This innovation reinterprets classical charm through contemporary building science, ensuring architectural longevity for centuries.

Custom-made ceramic carved rafters and tile fasteners from Jingdezhen inherit the legacy of blue-and-white porcelain. Their red-and-white glazes radiate with auspicious patterns, where rafters and tiles reflect each other in luxurious harmony. Such refined elegance carves an architectural aesthetic destined to endure through generations.
