Photographer Kejia Mei, worked as an architect at Beijing origin-architect in the past, during which time he was responsible for and landed projects that were honoured to be selected for WAF 2020/2021, as well as the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale, among others. He has independently planned and produced the video for the Biennale. Afterwards, he turned into an independent architectural photographer and worked on architecture, interiors, landscapes, installations, exhibitions and spaces. He also has extensive experience of project residencies and can provide construction process record shooting.He devotes to taking a narrative perspective and provide storytelling images for designers and owners while striving to capture the most moving moments of a building once it is completed with an emphasis on natural light. He believes that the focus of photography is on the designer's expression of the design and listening to the dialogue between the user and the space, rather than shooting mechanically.
