华南理工大学建筑设计研究院:白云山自古有“羊城第一秀”之称,是广州的城央山体公园,也是市民休闲游玩的好去处。摩星岭是白云山最高峰和广州城区的海拔最高点,为实现广州市民的无障碍登山,在摩星岭修建以观光扶梯及栈道为主体的便民工程。
SCUTAD:Baiyun Mountain has long been renowned as the “First Beauty of Yangcheng,” serving as a central urban park in Guangzhou and a popular leisure destination for residents. Moxing Ridge, the highest peak of Baiyun Mountain and the highest point in Guangzhou’s urban area, now features a public convenience project to ensure accessible mountain climbing for all citizens. This project primarily includes the construction of a sightseeing escalator and a boardwalk.

观光扶梯位于白云山摩星岭山脊西侧,采用“栈道+扶梯”的组合形式,全程210米,其中栈道总长150米,扶梯总长60米,抬升高度26米。设计上采用最小限度影响自然景观的方式,丰富游客游览体验路线,实现白云山最后“一公里”无障碍通行。项目注重于人性化设计,对于游客上下摩星岭山顶可有步行现状台阶和搭乘扶梯两种路径体验的选择,解决了老人小孩等行动不便的特殊人群登顶困难需求。
The scenic escalator is located on the west side of the ridge of Moxing Summit in Baiyun Mountain, utilizing a combination of “walkway + escalator” with a total length of 210 meters. The walkway spans 150 meters, and the escalator extends for 60 meters, with a vertical rise of 26 meters. The design minimally impacts the natural landscape, enhancing the visitor experience and achieving barrier-free access for the final “kilometer” of Baiyun Mountain. The project focuses on human-centered design, offering visitors the option to either walk or use the escalator to reach the mountaintop, catering to the needs of the elderly, children, and others with mobility issues.

通达便捷的无障碍流线
Accessible and Convenient Flow Lines
为解决老人小孩等行动不便的特殊人群登顶困难需求,观光扶梯设置于摩星岭山脊西侧,采用“栈道+扶梯”的组合形式,全程210米,其中栈道总长150米,为游客提供舒适的爬山体验,栈道坡度设计为4%;扶梯总长60米,抬升高度26米。栈道与扶梯的组合连接,使游览流线和空间布局更加连贯、和谐。游客可以通过栈道进入扶梯,随着路径的引导,逐步登山摩星岭山顶观景。让人们在此漫步、欣赏风景的同时,亭受观览山野的美景并进行运动健身活动。
To address the climbing difficulties for the elderly, children, and others with mobility issues, the scenic escalator is set on the west side of Moxing Summit’s ridge, using a combination of “walkway + escalator” over 210 meters (150 meters walkway with a 4% gradient and 60 meters escalator with a 26-meter vertical rise). The combination ensures a continuous and harmonious flow, allowing visitors to enter the escalator via the walkway, gradually reaching the peak while enjoying the scenic views and engaging in fitness activities.

敬畏山林的低干预设计
Low-Impact Design Respectful of the Mountain Forest
在设计中应最大限度地对场地原有自然面貌进行保护和利用,因此栈道在不破坏现状地貌的条件下架起。与此同时,在尊重场地现状地形,合理设计栈道路线走向。栈道走向尽量避开大树位置,对原有的大乔木也进行了保留。
The design maximizes the preservation and utilization of the site’s natural features, with the walkway elevated to avoid damaging the existing terrain. The walkway route respects the current topography and avoids large trees, preserving significant trees.

尊重山体植被资源,合理保护与迁移植被,设计保留并充分利用现有可用大树资源,尊重自然、尊重生态自然资源。
The design protects and utilizes the existing vegetation, ensuring the preservation of large trees and respecting ecological resources.

主体结构采用对山体环境低破坏、低冲击的单柱钢框架结构形式。钢梁及地面格栅最大限度避开现状大树,有效地保护了山体和植被,对环境的影响降到最低。栈道与林木完美融合,保留的树木从平台预留开口穿出,为栈道增添一点诗意;人也能顺畅通行,绘制出人与自然和谐相处的美好图景。
The main structure employs a low-impact, low-disturbance single-column steel frame, with beams and ground grates designed to avoid large trees, minimizing environmental impact.The walkway blends with the forest, with openings allowing trees to pass through, creating a harmonious human-nature coexistence.

扶梯段的钢构件雨棚柱被设计成简洁明快的“羊角”造型,呈张开迎接之势,寓意着羊城之巅,真诚待人,谦卑接物的理念 ,为项目增添更多人文关怀与文化标志性。
Escalator shelters are designed in a welcoming “goat horn” shape, symbolizing Guangzhou’s hospitality and humility, adding cultural and humanistic elements. Anti-glare lamps are used for handrails, creating a unique nighttime climbing experience.

层叠错落的观景空间
Layered and Diverse Viewing Spaces
充分利用原有山体的落差,塑造丰富的地形及竖向变化,形成不同的趣味游览路线。无障碍通达的“环线”系统,将带领游客无痛感登山,解决了无障碍人群登顶困难的需求。同时增设多个不同标高的出挑平台,营造最佳观赏日落的打卡点。
Utilizing the mountain’s natural elevation changes, the design creates varied terrain and vertical experiences, forming different scenic routes. The accessible “loop” system allows effortless climbing, addressing accessibility needs. Elevated platforms provide optimal sunset viewing spots, becoming popular photo locations.

友好亲切的节点设计
Friendly and Detailed Design
为适用山上气候,材料上选用耐久易维护的耐候材料,栈道铺地采用304不锈钢格栅,利于阳光和雨水的渗透,保证了山体地面植被的生长。在栈道扶手的细部上采用导圆角形式,地面采用防滑钢格栅。设置一键求助设施、监控设施,增强爬山的安全度及舒适度。
Materials are chosen for durability and ease of maintenance, with stainless steel grates ensuring sunlight and rain penetration, supporting ground vegetation growth. Handrails feature rounded edges, and the walkway uses non-slip grates. Emergency call and monitoring facilities enhance safety and comfort.

灯光设计
Lighting Design
扶手灯提供功能性照明底部下照灯环境微渲染。不锈钢格栅路面,通过底部下照制造悬浮于空中的神秘灯光氛围。扶手灯的选型采用的是防炫目灯,为夜景登摩星岭创造了不一样的体验感。
在扶梯运行的过程中,可以欣赏到广州市区的美丽风景。行走在栈道中,可以俯瞰整个白云新城全景。新增的观景平台视野开阔,可以欣赏夕阳西下、晚霞满天的绚丽景象。成为众多游客新的网红拍照打卡点。
Handrail lights provide functional lighting with a soft ambient glow. Stainless steel grate surfaces create a mysterious floating light effect with underlighting. Anti-glare lamps ensure a pleasant nighttime climbing experience.
During the escalator ride, visitors can enjoy beautiful city views. Walking along the walkway provides a panoramic view of Baiyun New City. The new viewing platforms offer stunning sunset vistas, becoming popular spots for photos.

项目在施工过程中对底部的现状施工便道进行回填土堆地形复绿处理,较陡处的边坡挡土方式采用小木桩加钢网,边缘放置环保沙袋,以防止水土流失。 栈道的走向也尽量避开现状大树。若实在无法避让时,对现状大树就地保护,采用钢格栅结构开洞形式进行避让。
During construction, existing paths are restored with soil and vegetation. Steep slopes use wooden stakes and steel nets with eco-friendly sandbags to prevent erosion. The walkway avoids large trees, protecting them where necessary with steel grates.

项目使用后评价
Post-Occupancy Evaluation
70多岁的老人时隔20年首次登顶摩星岭,观光扶梯让山顶的风光不再只是他的回忆。以往游客从摩星岭南门登顶,需要攀爬一段陡峭的楼梯,导致不少游客望而却步。扶梯开放后,游客从摩星岭南门处前行约150米,便可乘坐扶梯,登顶时间从最初的15分钟缩短至5分钟,轻松实现“无痛登顶”。
A 70-year-old revisited Moxing Summit after 20 years, now able to enjoy the peak view thanks to the scenic escalator. Previously, visitors had to climb a steep staircase from the south gate, deterring many. The escalator now allows them to ascend in just 5 minutes instead of 15, achieving “painless climbing.”
