艺普得城市设计：深圳湾需要一个什么样的商业景观？是购物目的地，还是能与城市共生、与自然对话的立体生活场？问题在第一次踏勘场地时便无比清晰：三条东西向、一条南北向的市政主干道，将项目用地干净利落地切割成六个孤岛。我们面对的，不是一张白纸，而是一副被打散的拼图。面对这张“破碎的蓝图”，传统的、以装饰和美化为目的的景观设计已然失效。iPD团队的角色，从设计伊始便升维为 “整体环境的织造者”。核心命题从“如何美化”转变为 “如何缝合生长”。由此，“织境成网，无界共生”的设计哲学应运而生。它意味着，景观不再是地块的填充物，而是主动串联碎片、编织立体网络、激发城市活力的结构性媒介。其目标，是构建一个集生态、商业、艺术与公共生活于一体的“无界共同体”。
iPD：What kind of commercial landscape does The Shenzhen Bay need? A mere shopping destination, or a three-dimensional living field capable of symbiosis with the city and dialogue with nature?The challenge became starkly clear during the first site visit: three east-west and one north-south municipal trunk roads cleanly dissected the project site into six isolated islands. We faced not a blank canvas, but a scattered jigsaw puzzle.Confronted with this “shattered blueprint,” traditional landscape design focused on decoration and beautification fell short. From the outset, the iPD team’s role evolved into that of “weavers of the holistic environment.” The core question shifted from “how to beautify” to “how to suture and cultivate growth.”Thus, the design philosophy of “Weaving Landscapes into Networks, Boundless Symbiosis” was born. It signifies that landscape is no longer just filler for plots, but an active, structural medium that connects fragments, weaves three-dimensional networks, and stimulates urban vitality. The goal is to construct a “boundless community” integrating ecology, commerce, art, and public life.
灵感，来自一枚“古老的生命”：缝合需要线索，需要一种能将碎片粘连、让异质共生的“黏合剂”。这一理念，与自然界中古老的共生生命——地衣，形成了宏观层面的精神共鸣。地衣在严酷环境中展现出的适应性、其将不同生命体融合为全新整体的共生智慧，恰是对此项目“缝合碎片、催化共生”愿景的诗意隐喻。设计，旨在让这片商业场地如同有机的生命网络，牢牢附着于城市肌理，持续生长。
Inspiration from an “Ancient Life”: Weaving requires a thread, a “binding agent” that can adhere fragments and allow heterogeneous elements to coexist.This concept resonates on a macro level with one of nature’s oldest symbiotic lives—lichen. Lichen’s adaptability in harsh environments and its symbiotic wisdom in fusing different organisms into a new whole became a poetic metaphor for the project’s vision of “suturing fragments and catalyzing symbiosis.” The design aims to make this commercial site, like an organic living network, firmly adhere to the urban fabric and grow continuously.

01地衣的形态转译
Translating the Form of Lichen
“地衣生境”不仅是一个宏观概念，更化身为一系列细微而精妙的视觉元素，自然散布于场地的各个角落。
“Lichen Habitat” is not just a macro concept; it materializes as a series of subtle and intricate visual elements, naturally scattered throughout the site.
设计从地衣的有机形态与共生状态中汲取灵感，将其转化为一套独特的视觉语言。这些元素并非集中于某一处，而是如同自然生长般，出现在休憩坐凳的表面、定制花钵的立面、连桥的细节以及铺装的拼缝之中，成为统一整体空间氛围的精致线索。
Drawing inspiration from lichen’s organic forms and symbiotic state, the design translates them into a unique visual language. These elements are not concentrated in one area but appear as if grown naturally—on the surfaces of rest seating, the facades of custom planters, the details of bridges, and within paving seams—becoming delicate threads that unify the spatial atmosphere.
它们的存在不强硬，却无处不在，以沉默的姿态诉说着“无界共生”的故事，将自然的诗意悄然织入商业空间的日常。
Their presence is unobtrusive yet ubiquitous, silently narrating the story of “boundless symbiosis” and weaving the poetry of nature into the daily rhythm of the commercial space.

02自然生境的沉浸式转译
Immersive Translation of a Natural Habitat
我们将“地衣生境”的宏大概念，精妙地转译为五种可步入、可触摸、可沉浸的具体空间体验，让访客在移动中完成一场从高到低、从自然到都市的感官穿越。
We meticulously translated the grand concept of “Lichen Habitat” into five tangible, walkable, touchable, and immersive spatial experiences, allowing visitors to embark on a sensory journey from high to low, from nature to metropolis.
高海拔森林：都市上空的静谧林冠 High-Altitude Forest: A Serene Canopy Above the City
这是进入场地的第一印象区，主要指PTI地面及主要入口广场。我们塑造了一种崇高、舒朗、充满仪式感的森林意象，旨在为都市人群提供一片可步入、可沉浸的亲自然森林体验。
乔木为骨：我们大量选用莫氏榄仁等高耸、塔形树冠的乔木。它们挺拔向上，快速构建起空间的竖向骨架与清晰的天际线，如同森林中最高大的那一片树冠层，过滤阳光，投下修长的树影。
This forms the first impression upon entering the site, primarily referring to the PTI ground level and main entrance plaza. We crafted a sublime, spacious, and ritualistic forest imagery, aiming to provide urban dwellers with an accessible, immersive pro-nature forest experience.
Trees as the Bones: We extensively employed tall, pyramidal-canopy trees like Terminalia muelleri. Soaring upwards, they quickly establish the spatial vertical framework and a clear skyline, resembling the tallest canopy layer of a forest, filtering sunlight and casting elongated shadows.

低海拔森林：亲地漫游的柔软草甸 Low-Altitude Forest: The Soft Meadow for Ground-Level Wandering
由PTI向绿谷走，绿谷下沉之上的地面层，我们称之为“低海拔森林”。这里的氛围从崇高转向亲和、柔软、沉浸，旨在创造让人愿意触摸、放松的亲地体验。
地被为肤，地形为谷：这里是地毯式地被植物的主场。我们精选了如青叶玉芙蓉、澳洲米花等质感细腻、色彩柔和的品种，营造出一片如绒毯般弥漫的绿色海洋。通过柔和的微地形塑造，形成缓坡与谷地，增强了空间的野趣感与自然韵律。这些草坡本身也是观看中央场景的绝佳看台。
Transitioning from the PTI towards the Green Valley, the ground level above the sunken valleys is termed the “Low-Altitude Forest.” The atmosphere here shifts from sublime to approachable, soft, and immersive, aiming to create touchable, relaxing ground-level experiences.
Groundcover as the Skin, Topography as the Valley: This is the domain of carpet-like groundcover plants. We selected species with fine texture and soft colors, such as Leucophyta brownii and Ozothamnus diosmifolius, creating a pervasive green sea reminiscent of felt blankets. Gentle micro-topography forms gentle slopes and depressions, enhancing a sense of wildness and natural rhythm. These grassy slopes also serve as perfect bleachers for viewing the central scene.

峡谷：下沉秘境的原始悸动The Canyon: Primordial Pulse of a Sunken Secret Realm
2号、3号绿谷下沉庭院，我们将其构想为一个湿润、荫蔽、充满探索欲的“地质奇观”。
崖壁与蕨类：空间两侧通过墙体与种植塑造出“崖壁”感。选用形态瘦高、气质静谧的金丝楠木作为垂直立面上森林感的主导，下层则密植各类喜阴湿的蕨类植物，营造出深邃或包裹或舒展的氛围。
Green Valley Sunken Courtyards No. 2 and 3were conceived as a moist, shaded “geological wonder” full of intrigue.
Cliff Walls & Ferns: Walls and planting on both sides create a sense of “cliff faces.” Slender, tranquil Phoebe zhennan (Golden Silk Nanmu) trees dominate the vertical forest feeling, while the lower level is densely planted with various shade-loving ferns, crafting an atmosphere that is deep, enveloping, or expansive.

Adventure & Taste: The canyon space integrates closely with high-end dining terraces. Dining here is like feasting surrounded by primordial rainforest, where sight, sound, smell, and touch are fully engaged, transforming into a unique memorable point of the commercial experience.
水景与声景：局部设置的扇形水景和雾森系统，其潺潺水声和袅袅雾气更是增加趣味，塑造沉浸感的关键。水声屏蔽了城市噪音，雾气则让光线变得神秘朦胧。
Water Features & Soundscapes: Locally placed fan-shaped water features and mist systems are key to enhancing fun and crafting immersion. The sound of flowing water masks urban noise, while the mist renders light mysterious and hazy.

绿洲：商业内核的精致点缀The Oasis: Exquisite Accents in the Commercial Core
在商业密度最高的核心区地面，我们面临现实的挑战：大面积的硬质铺装是商业活动的必需。我们的策略，不是对抗，而是做极致精致的点缀，如同沙漠中珍贵的绿洲，给人片刻荫凉与慰藉。
商业下沉庭院中，绿化以点植孤赏树为主。每一棵都是经过多轮“实景覆模”精选的造型树，它们不追求量，而追求在关键位置形成的视觉焦点与遮荫效果。
On the ground level of the densest commercial core, we faced the pragmatic challenge: extensive hardscape is essential for commercial activities. Our strategy was not to fight it, but to create exquisitely refined accents—like precious oases in a desert, offering moments of shade and solace.
In the commercial sunken courtyards, greenery primarily consists of specimen trees for solitary appreciation. Each is a sculptural tree meticulously selected through multiple rounds of “on-site mockup simulation.” They prioritize quality over quantity, aiming to create visual focal points and shade effects at key locations.

Materials such as specially selected stones resembling nature’s paintings were chosen to add subtle artistic sensibility and soften the coolness of large hardscape areas.
商业界面中的点缀绿化细腻软化建筑边界，为熙攘的空间提供片刻呼吸与慰藉。
Accent greenery at commercial interfaces subtly softens architectural edges, providing moments of breath and solace within the bustling space.
精致花街：在逸湖五街，设置花树为主题的街道搭配。植物品种选择色彩雅致、形态独特的，如同精美的珠宝，在严谨的都市界面中闪烁自然的光芒。
Boutique Flower Street: On Yihu Fifth Street, a flowering tree-themed street arrangement was created. Plant selections feature elegant colors and unique forms, like exquisite jewels shimmering with natural light within the disciplined urban interface.

03枝桠间生长出的城市风景
Cityscapes Growing Among the Branches
后海CBD效率至上，宽阔的车道保证了物流畅通，却将步行体验碾得支离破碎。人们在高楼峡谷中穿梭，忍受噪音、等待红灯，步行沦为纯粹的移动功能。
这条全长约2.2公里的“第二地面”，超越了单纯的交通连接，被定义为集基础设施、公共客厅、城市界面与形体于一体的新型公共空间原型。它如同这片“地衣生境”生长的坚韧骨架，在空中织就了连接与共生的立体脉络。
In the efficiency-driven Houhai CBD, wide roads ensure logistics flow but shatter the pedestrian experience. People navigate canyon-like towers, enduring noise and waiting at traffic lights—walking reduced to mere mobility.
This approximately 2.2-kilometer-long “Second Ground Level” transcends mere connectivity. It is defined as a new prototype of public space integrating infrastructure, public living room, urban interface, and form. Like the resilient skeleton upon which this “Lichen Habitat” grows, it weaves a three-dimensional network of connection and symbiosis in the sky.

形态与理念：从连接到停留Form & Concept: From Connection to Stay
连桥被转化为有价值的停留场所，关键节点形成空中平台与路径转折处精心框选的风景，用于举办市集活动或远眺海湾，我们将其视为社会活动的“催化剂”。
The skybridges are transformed into valuable places to linger. Key nodes form aerial platforms, and strategically framed views at path turns create opportunities for hosting market events or gazing at the bay. We regard them as “catalysts” for social activity.
在重点打造的节点，我们注入了“岩生”主题，赋予这条空中动脉以独特的性格与生命力。岩生连桥节点选用低维护的观赏草与岩生植物，搭配矿石质感材料，塑造出独具韧性与生命感的空中花园，成为漫长流线中一个令人驻留的记忆点。
At key nodes, we infused a “Lithophyte” theme, giving this aerial artery distinct character and vitality. The Lithophyte Skybridge node employs low-maintenance ornamental grasses and rock-dwelling plants paired with mineral-texture materials, sculpting an aerial garden with unique resilience and life force, becoming a memorable point to linger along the lengthy circulation route.
连桥上的设计语言，线条硬朗、材质现代，共同塑造出一种面向未来、坚韧且充满生命张力的空中场所精神。
The design language on the bridges features crisp lines and modern materials, collectively shaping an aerially-oriented, resilient, and vitally tensile spirit of place.

结构及材料创新：理性与诗意Structural & Material Innovation: Rationality & Poetry
面对地下管线密集、可用支撑点极少的“工程雷区”，项目创新性地采用了树杈状钢结构立柱体系。这一设计不仅以“一柱多叉”的逻辑高效解决了结构难题，其优雅的雕塑形态更成为项目的视觉标志。从3D打印推演到1:1实体打样，再到外露氟碳漆喷涂的最终呈现，确保了结构理性与艺术表现的高度统一。针对复杂的钢结构与幕墙系统，项目采用了“实测-调整-落地”的数字化闭环控制。通过点云扫描获取钢构实测数据，与设计模型比对后动态调整幕墙分格与节点，从而精准消解施工误差，实现了仿石纹铝板等定制材料在复杂曲面上的精密安装。
Facing an “engineering minefield” with dense underground utilities and minimal viable support points, the project innovatively adopted a tree-branch-like steel column system. This design not only efficiently solved structural challenges with its “one-column-multiple-branches” logic but also became a visual icon for the project with its elegant sculptural form. From 3D printing simulations to 1:1 physical prototyping and final execution with exposed fluorocarbon paint, it ensured a high unity of structural rationality and artistic expression. For the complex steel and curtain wall systems, a “survey-adjust-implement” digital closed-loop control was adopted. Point cloud scanning captured as-built steel data, which was compared with the design model to dynamically adjust curtain wall modules and details, thereby precisely mitigating construction tolerances and enabling the precise installation of custom materials like stone-pattern aluminum panels on complex curved surfaces.

04育绿｜建造活的植物博物馆
Nurturing Green | Building a Living Plant Museum
景观的灵魂，最终是生命。面对深圳亚热带季风气候的挑战与立体空间的复杂性，植物设计从一开始就确立了以本土与适生植物为核心的选择策略。我们考察华南地区植物园，邀请植物专家，调研本地苗圃，选用了近200种本土植物，如莫氏榄仁、海红豆、金丝楠木、木麻黄等本地树种，以及青叶玉芙蓉、澳洲米花等低维护乡土地被。这不仅确保了植物群落在当地气候下的坚韧生命力，降低了长期养护成本，更构建起了场地独特的生态记忆与地域身份。
它不再仅仅是商业的“绿化配套”，而是一座与城市共呼吸、与商业共舞的活态植物博物馆。
策略是科学的：我们建立“乔木变化轴”与“地被变化轴”，模拟从公共区域到商业核心，植被从自然群落感向精致都市感的渐变。
The soul of landscape is, ultimately, life. Facing the challenges of Shenzhen’s subtropical monsoon climate and the complexity of three-dimensional spaces, the planting strategy was established from the start with native and climate-adapted plants at its core. We visited botanical gardens in South China, consulted plant experts, surveyed local nurseries, and selected nearly 200 native species—such as local trees like Terminalia muelleri, Ormosia pinnata, Phoebe zhennan, Casuarina equisetifolia, and low-maintenance native groundcovers like Leucophyta brownii, Ozothamnus diosmifolius. This not only ensured the resilience of plant communities in the local climate, reduced long-term maintenance costs, but also built the site’s unique ecological memory and regional identity.
It is no longer merely a “greening accessory” for commerce, but a living plant museum that breathes with the city and dances with commerce.
The strategy is scientific: We established “Tree Variation Axes” and “Groundcover Variation Axes”, simulating a gradient from the natural community feel in public areas towards a refined urban feel in the commercial core.

落地是严谨的：对于关键点景树，我们进行实景覆模选型，确保树形与空间完美契合；在大面积种植前，坚持做地被样板段打样，在现场光线下确认质感和色彩。
Implementation is rigorous: For key specimen trees, we conducted on-site mockup simulations for selection, ensuring perfect harmony between tree form and space. Before large-scale planting, we insisted on creating sample sections for groundcovers to confirm texture and color under actual lighting conditions.

Ecology is warm: In the skybridge areas, we intentionally added nectar plants to attract bees and butterflies, allowing this aerial garden to truly “come alive” and become a corridor for micro-fauna.

05匠心｜毫米之间，织就永恒
Craftsmanship | Weaving Eternity Within Millimeters
最好的设计，能经得起时间与近距离的审视。在这个项目中，我们的角色进一步升维为 “一体化效果总控师”。
与幕墙共舞：业主希望绿谷的下沉立面拥有建筑般的精致感。于是，我们以建筑图纸的标准进行提资，与幕墙顾问深度协作，从数字模型到石材留缝，全程精密控制。
The best design endures the scrutiny of time and close inspection. On this project, our role further evolved into that of “Holistic Effect Master Controller.”
Dancing with Curtain Walls: The client desired the sunken facades of the Green Valley to possess an architectural level of refinement. Consequently, we provided specifications to architectural drawing standards, collaborating deeply with curtain wall consultants and maintaining precise control from digital models to stone joint detailing.
材料的甄选：为了“地衣生境”艺术质感的高度还原，我们开启了一场全球范围的“石材海选”。面层极具表现力与对比感的古典金麻与美国白金用于铺装与建筑立面上；为模拟地衣斑块在绿意中蔓延的自然感，我们采用了深绿橄榄绿与浅绿森林绿石材进行穿插拼接。
Material Curation: To achieve a high-fidelity artistic rendition of the “Lichen Habitat” texture, we embarked on a global “stone audition.” Highly expressive and contrasting surface stones like Classic Gold Granite and American White Gold were used for paving and building facades. To simulate the natural spread of lichen patches amidst greenery, we employed Dark Green Olive and Light Green Forest stones for interlocking patterns.
持续迭代：我们主导优化、升级了20+项堪称行业典范的“魔鬼细节”节点。这些优化涵盖：
优化石材切割与拼接方式，更新水景结构做法，精细化材料交接工艺，全方位优化部品舒适度。这不仅是为了本项目尽善尽美，更是iPD以实践推动行业工艺标准与设计细节向前迭代的自觉担当。
Continuous Iteration: We led the optimization and upgrading of 20+ “devilish detail” nodes that set industry benchmarks. These refinements encompassed: optimizing stone cutting and jointing methods, updating water feature structural approaches, refining material transition details, and holistically enhancing component comfort. This was done not only for the perfection of this project but also as iPD’s conscious commitment to advancing industry craftsmanship standards and design detailing through practice.

For All Future Possibilities
我们认为，最高级的艺术，在于为未来无限的生活剧本，搭建一个充满潜力的舞台。
因此，我们始终保持克制。景观的骨架清晰流畅，材料运用整体纯净。这样确保了建筑、商业橱窗、未来发生的艺术事件与市民自发的行为，都能成为主角。
We believe the highest form of art lies in building a stage full of potential for the infinite scripts of future life.
Therefore, we maintained restraint throughout. The landscape framework is clear and fluid; material application is overall pure. This ensures that architecture, commercial displays, future art events, and spontaneous public activities can all take center stage.
深圳湾万象城，最终成为了一个集生态、商业、艺术与城市生活于一体的“无界共同体”。它如同一片巨大的人工地衣，牢牢附着于这片充满活力的湾区热土，静静地生长、呼吸、共生。这里的故事，才刚刚开始……
The Shenzhen Bay has ultimately become a “boundless community” integrating ecology, commerce, art, and urban life. Like a colossal, human-made lichen, it firmly adheres to this vibrant soil of the Bay Area, quietly growing, breathing, and coexisting. The story here has only just begun…
