广州知行景观：无锡世纪金源项目位于长江三角洲平原腹地无锡市，京杭大运河从中穿过。寄畅园坐落其中，隐于西郊东侧的惠山东麓。
guangzhou zhixing landscape studio：The Wuxi Century Jinyuan project is situated in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta Plain, within the city of Wuxi. The Grand Canal passes through this area, with the Ji Chang Garden nestled within it, hidden on the eastern foothills of Mount Hui in the western suburbs.

致敬寄畅园，以山、水、筑、植为底蕴，辅以“高远”、“深远”、“平远”三远法的空间手法与层次感知，演绎世界风潮之下的现代东方表达，打造隐山显水的诗意东方园林。不出城廊而获山水之怡，身居闹市而得林泉之趣。
Design Concept
Inspired by the Ji Chang Garden, the design draws upon the essence of mountains, water, architecture, and vegetation. It incorporates spatial techniques and layers of perception, utilizing the principles of “high distance,” “deep distance,” and “level distance” to create a modern Eastern expression amid global trends. The aim is to craft a poetic Oriental garden where mountains remain hidden and waters are revealed. It offers the pleasure of natural landscapes from the confines of urban corridors and the delight of a woodland and spring within the bustling city.

壹 | 溪山雅筑 I
溯源古代府院生活，登阶入府，古松迎客。入口界面沿袭了规制严谨的府邸礼序，舍弃繁琐的语言，仅用一些体块交错变化和材料质感的对比，还原空间最本真、最纯粹的状态。
Elegant Creekside Residence
Tracing back to the lifestyle of ancient courtyards, ascending the steps welcomes one into the abode, greeted by ancient pines. The entrance maintains the solemn etiquette of traditional residences, eschewing ornate language in favor of a simple interplay of spatial forms and contrasting material textures, restoring the space to its most authentic and purest state.

贰 | 金山龙池 II
庭院虽小，纳静水一池。水庭一隅，古桩朴树静立，平添岁月深意。
Golden Hill Dragon Pool
Though the courtyard is modest in size, it accommodates a tranquil pool. In one corner of the water courtyard, an ancient hackberry tree stands quietly, adding layers of age-old wisdom.

池底以手工拼贴的深色片岩模拟天然水系质感，山形石阶选用深灰色天然岩板手工刻画边缘，人为强调自然肌理，层叠错落，缓缓声趣。
The pool bottom utilizes hand-laid dark slate to mimic the texture of a natural waterway. The mountain-shaped stone steps are crafted from dark gray natural stone slabs with hand-carved edges, artificially highlighting the natural texture, layered and staggered, creating a gentle auditory charm.

水庭左侧弧形景墙如素绢轻展于水上。端头内嵌铜质水槽，一道薄水如银丝跌下，水声清泠，却不扰庭中幽寂。
To the left of the water courtyard, a curved scenic wall unfolds like fine silk over the water. At the end, a copper water trough is embedded; a thin trickle of water flows down like a silver thread, producing a clear and cool sound that complements rather than disrupts the courtyard’s serene tranquility.
叁 | 金镶玉边 III
石为云根，金为玉边，玉有美质，在于石间。池底灵感源自米芾《研山铭》，以定制乱纹面黄铜模拟山脉蜿蜒凹曲，多次打样修改以保证山形的流畅走势。中间嵌祖母绿奢石，作为中式符号和精致质感的现代显性表达。
Golden Rimmed Jade
Stone as the root of clouds, gold as the rim of jade—jade possesses beauty within the interstices of stone. The pool’s bottom takes inspiration from Mi Fu’s Yan Shan Ming, employing custom textured brass to simulate the meandering contours of mountains. Multiple prototypes were refined to ensure fluidity in the mountain’s form. Incorporated are emerald luxury stones, providing a modern and expressive representation of traditional Chinese symbols and refined textures.

肆 | 清响月洞 IV
山石景观与湖水由湖面延伸到室内，打开一侧门洞，形成类似传统园林手法中间的空间留白与气口，营造空间气韵流动。
Resonant Moon Gate
The rock formations and lake water extend from the lake surface into the interior, opening a doorway that creates a spatial void and air vent reminiscent of traditional garden techniques, fostering a dynamic flow of space and spirit.

桥体设计从寄畅园经典的七星桥中汲取灵感，并进行了当代重构。将原版的平直桥身改为微拱形态，强化了临水悬浮的轻盈感。桥栏由特选红砂岩定制打磨而成，两端阴刻的纹样源自古典折扇与玉兰古画，并以金属细节点睛，构成材质的微妙对比。
The bridge design draws inspiration from the classic Seven-Star Bridge in Ji Chang Garden, modernly reimagined. The original straight bridge body is transformed into a subtly arched form, enhancing the sensation of lightness and suspension over water. The bridge railings are custom-ground from specially selected red sandstone. The engraved patterns at both ends are inspired by classical folding fans and ancient magnolia paintings, with metallic accents that highlight subtle material contrasts.
伍 | 云栖半廊 V
月明云栖廊，抬首洞天，廊下侯月，以圆形墙洞映水，两圆成发，自然拙朴的石材结合精致细腻的金属，呈现不同质感的反差之美。
Clouds Resting in the Half-Porch
The moonlight is bright, and the clouds seem to rest within the pavilion. Gazing upward, the sky appears as a celestial cavity; beneath the corridor, the moon waits. Circular wall openings reflect the water, with two concentric circles forming a harmonious whole. The design combines naturally rustic stone materials with delicate, intricate metallic elements, creating a beautiful contrast of textures and qualities.

陆 | 介如镜池 VI
通过小而精致的转行空间，将山林与碧湖引入下沉庭院，水景池底内凹，如碗如兜。
Mirror-Like Pool
Through a small yet refined transitional space, the mountain forest and emerald lake are brought into the sunken courtyard. The water feature’s pool bottom is recessed, resembling a bowl or basin, enhancing the sense of intimacy.

A vertical waterfall forms a secluded mountain and water screen, capturing a natural scene of “dancing shadows of trees and clear, misty waters,” evoking a poetic landscape.

柒 | 半廊缦回 VII
登二楼半廊，龙光塔于山林云间铺陈展开。是凌于高处与远近青山对话的最佳场所,也是寄畅园中最为经典的“借园外景”的手法，将锡山与龙光塔风光引入园中。
俯仰上下，不知我之在丘壑，亦或丘壑之在我也。
Semi-porch with Flowing Elegance
Ascending to the second-floor semi-porch, visitors are greeted with a panoramic view of the Longguang Pagoda nestled amidst mountain forests and clouds. This spot serves as an ideal place for dialogue between the high vantage point and the distant hills. It exemplifies Ji Chang Garden’s refined “borrowing landscape” technique, bringing the scenic beauty of Xishan and the Longguang Pagoda into the garden.
Gazing up and down, one might forget whether I am amidst the hills and valleys, or if the hills and valleys are within me.

捌 | 别有洞天 VIII
拨云寻古道，倚石听流泉。
中国园林着重“画意”，童寯先生就曾将中国园林概括为“三维的中国画”，有景可寻、有径可游、有泉可听。视线拂过之处，山石参差错落，形态各异。花间酒肆、伴林间清风是生活日常，在自然中感受东方美学的风雅。
Scenery of Exceptional Charm
Parting the clouds in search of ancient paths, leaning on rocks to listen to flowing springs.
Chinese garden design emphasizes “poetic imagery”: as Mr. Tong Jun summarized, Chinese gardens can be seen as a “three-dimensional Chinese painting,” where landscapes invite exploration, paths beckon for wandering, and springs offer soothing sounds. As your gaze sweeps across, rocks scatter in varied, uneven forms. Among flowers, wine shops and forest breezes create everyday life moments, allowing visitors to experience the elegance and scholarly charm of Eastern aesthetics within nature.

在场地设计语境中，山水意境不止于观赏，更在于身心的栖居与体验。我们以寄畅园为精神线索，不复制传统，依托山、水、筑、植四大元素，融入中国画论“高远、深远、平远”的空间构图，构建可游可居的现代东方园林。山隐水显，意蕴流动，在当代设计中续写东方美学。
The Designer’s Words
In the context of site design, the landscape realm extends beyond mere visual appreciation; it is about physical and spiritual dwelling and experience. Using Ji Chang Garden as the spiritual anchor, we do not replicate tradition but rely on the four key elements—mountains, water, architecture, and vegetation—and incorporate the spatial concepts of “high, deep, and level distance” from Chinese painting theories. This approach aims to create a modern Oriental garden that is both traversable and livable. Hidden mountains and apparent waters flow with poetic meaning, continuing the expression of Eastern aesthetics within contemporary design.
