翊象设计: 2023年的春季，真实的江心洲 The real island life in Jiangxinzhou in the spring of 2023.

项目启动之初，基地现勘之后，加上对于江心洲岛的环境更深入的理解，江湾境在我们心里有了初步的轮廓与雏形。我们订下这个项目整体呈现的目标与调性，就是让最终成型的空间，能够真实呈现岛居生活的画面感。来到这里，感受到的是洲岛上与自然最融入的体验。

在这样的设定下，围绕在整个场景内外的唯一关键词，就是真实。

这个项目最大的挑战在于如何在一个州岛上创造居所的归属感、度假感、松弛感，同时能够以返璞归真、不堆砌的整体调性、创造能够触动人心的真实。

江湾境要用最真实的布局、光影、色系、质感，传达倾诉生活在这各洲岛上的放松与闲适。

Platform Design Group Limited: At the beginning of the project, the future of Antara was outlined in our minds after the site visit and further understanding of the project site in Jiangxinzhou. We decided on the project goal and the tone of the space to present the real life on the island. Here, you will have an immersive experience of the harmony between humans and nature.

Based on this idea, we determined the keyword for landscape design is “to be real.”
This project’s biggest challenge is creating a relaxing holiday atmosphere and giving people a sense of belonging without adding many details or luxury items. We want to return to nature and the basics and “keep it real.”

By designing a layout that caters to people’s daily lives, considering light, shadow, and texture, we tell a story of the restful life on the island of Antara.

重新定义稀缺的臻藏 Redefine a rare Collection

奢侈是一个相对的概念，在拥挤嘈杂的都会区，静谧闲适、充满绿意的院子是大多数都市人向往却又难得的一方净土；车水马龙，辛勤往返的生活惯性里，近距离就能到达的低密度原野岛居生活，更是无数现代人渴望的栖居回归。

在最精华的都会区段，沁润到最自然的场景，尽享最延展开阔、丰富细腻的洲岛生活!

正对南京CBD的江心洲上就有这样一个地方，从市中心过来约二十分钟车程就能享受这样的奢侈；奢享的不是物质上的材料，堆砌的仪式空间，而是充满生机的画面、墣实质感的回归、以及自然簇拥的氛围。

区位上，江心洲拥有离南京市精华区段最近、最优质的自然基底。核心都会旁的岛居生活，赋予了每次出入洲岛、归返家园，都像是入住度假酒店般的心境转换。

如果每个到访者期待看到的仪式门头、巨大水面、充满堆砌感的显贵元素都落空了，这项目已经成功了一半，但在呈现的自然氛围里感产生了触动，想要生活在这样的画面里，这项目的另一半也成功了。

我们展示的不是售楼处，而是生活在江心洲岛上的渴望，一个为了繁华都市打开的另一扇桃花源之窗。

Luxury is a relative concept. In a bustling city, a quiet garden filled with greenery is a luxury for most people. Easy access to a low-density island from the daily commute is another luxury, especially if this island is in the heart of the CBD and offers abundant nature and open views.

Antara is the place where you can have that luxury. Antara is located on Jiangxinzhou Island, about twenty minutes drive from the CBD of Nanjing. In Antara, “luxury” doesn’t mean excessive and expansive materials or ceremonial spaces. What it offers is a natural setting and a lively place.

Jiangxinzhou Island is conveniently located near the CBD and has the best natural setting. The island life by the CBD gives the residents a change of scenery during their daily commute, and they will feel like going to a resort every time they go home.

In Antara, you won’t see the typical ceremonial entrance, grand water feature, and excessive decorations. You will see nature, the lifestyle, and touching moments. If you see this place, resonate with it, and start to picture yourself living here, I will say we have achieved our goal.

The space we presented is not a sales center but a demonstration of life on the island. It’s to answer your longing for island life and a window facing a utopia from the bustling city.

空间构成 Layout of the Space

江湾境分成南北两个区块，在各自所属的自然基底上各擅胜场。场地的布置秉持自然系的理念与核心价值，务求在每个地块各具特色的板块，提炼出最合适的分区布局与生活场景，盛载清晰的场景識别度。

南地块沿东、北两侧临水位置是一期示范区的范围。临河无围界的设计是江心洲项目最大的亮点之一，临水区域直接被转换成无实体围墙的沿河公园，未来大区东侧能够最大化融入滨水的场景与氛围。

Antara has two parcels, the south and the north. Each area has its characteristics derived from its natural setting. Antara’s landscape layout is designed with the principles and core value of “keeping it natural.” Each parcel has the most suitable layout and zoning for daily life while being very recognizable from the others.

The south parcel contains the Phase One area and the sale center. Phase One is located by the river on the north and east sides. “Borderless” is one of the special traits in Antara. The waterfront applied this design approach and became a riverfront park without boundary walls. So, the east side of the parcel could blend in with the waterfront as much as possible.

沿河两侧除了保留现状大乔，也透过重新整理的槭树、河桦，打造沿河两岸更饱满的季相表情。沿地块东南河道边，广植的河桦林与丰富的地被，让漫步、穿越、游赏的体验在精致野趣的场景里更加的闲适放松。

Existing trees are retained along both sides of the river. By strategically planting maples and birch trees, we enrich the seasonal look of the riverfront. Birch trees are vastly planted along the east-south side of the parcel to create a more relaxing setting for strolling, meandering, and sightseeing.

体验的序曲 – 谧影回廊 Prelude – Corridor of Light and Shadow

到达的序曲，是在树林与花园中探访一个小美术馆的入口。

我们希望到访的人们能带着好奇、探索的心情开始桃花源之旅，体验的空间也从压缩进入到开展，衔接至豁然开朗的水岸桦林。南向的光线穿过低彩度的隔栅映拓在低调墩实的墙体，营造出踩踏在光影上的愉悦感与期待感。主入口利用了路面至水岸超过三米的高差，以及临水绿植葱郁的围合感，将体验从路边带入幽静的带状沿河空间。

The arrival is the prelude of Phase One. It starts with the entrance to a small art museum inside the forest and the garden.

We hope the visitors can start their journey in this utopia with a curious and adventurous mind. The spaces they are experiencing will go from a compressed space to an open space and continue the journey to the birch forest at the waterfront. The sunlight will pass through the grill of the screen and cast on the low and monotone wall. Visitors will then step on these dancing lights and shadow with joy and anticipation. There is a three-meter level difference from the main entry to the riverfront. Visitors travel through this level difference from the roadside to the riverfront, a calming space with lush green.

主入口也摒弃了传统强调高大显奢的屋顶，展示的主角是让墙面细致的分割、进退、质感，或隐或显的展示在伸手可及的体验上，让到达进入的感觉像是造访一个低调隐秘的沿河艺廊。

景墙应用了泛青色带着优雅白色纹理的海洋青石材作为主材，让漫游归家出入的体验能够展现稳静不凡的气质。

Instead of using a grand canopy like most entrances of other developments, the entry space in Antara showcases walls with subtle details, such as the granite texture, the cut lines of stone cladding, and the in & out effect created by different cladding thicknesses. Visitors will feel like they arrive at an art gallery hidden at the waterfront.

The wall cladding uses Verde Marina, a bluish-grey granite with elegant white veins. It complements the going-home experience with a profound and elegant class.

＂初极狭，才通人＂，进入连廊走近端景之后，场地的竖向标高从街道降至河岸，超过两米多的高差也为到达的体验创造了更多戏剧化的条件。转折向下朝着水岸走近，缓缓进入光线渐弱的楼梯段，天地顶的元素务求简约，扶手栏杆的功能融合在内凹的壁面，同时与光源结合，展示精工匠造的细节。

“The opening of the corridor is very narrow and could barely fit a person to pass through. Then the path opens to a broad, bright space after several steps.” This is the paragraph from “The Peach Blossom Spring,” a tale of a fisherman looking for utopia. The arrival in Antara references this tale for a dramatic experience. After reaching the end of the corridor, the visitors will descend over two meters from the street to the riverfront level. They take a turn, walk toward the riverfront, and enter the staircase section with less light passing through. The floor, the wall, and the ceiling apply a minimalist design. Handrails are embedded in niches on the wall and incorporated with lighting to showcase the craftsmanship.

豁然开朗的江心桦林 Riverfront Birch Forest

无界缘溪的体验，是江湾境最大的亮点之一。顺应场地自然的地形，水岸步道从人行道入口的高度降至最接近水岸的标高，沿河的带状空间透过自然感极强的河桦纯林形成主视觉的场景。

The experience of walking along the borderless riverfront is one of the highlights of Antara. Following the natural terrain, the footpath will descend to the level close to the riverbank and bring people closer to the water. The lively birch trees planted here are the focus of this riverfront space.

缘溪而行，穿林而过；通过纯林的蜿蜒夹道，辅以精致丰富的地被层次，白色飘带造型的挡土墙丰富了高差的处理，也最大化的再现未来大区无界水岸生活的实际场景；透过未来水岸边的实景呈现，盛载未来大区里的微度假的自然生活与松弛感。

The footpath meanders through the forest, by the riverfront, and is decorated with layers of groundcovers. Ribbon-like white retaining walls add accents to the level change treatment. Visitors could imagine their future riverfront life through this space and feel the relaxing “home vacation.”

沿河全区漫步道都用露骨料完成铺设，丛林冠、地被、地形、流水，甚至踏面，让”无缝”的自然感全方面地延展到树林里的每个角落。灌木层里的雾森让日间午后的体感更加松弛，也创造了在清晨薄雾里林间漫步的浪漫氛围。飘带造型的米白色挡土墙从等高线里自然而然的固化，在林间优雅闲适的蜿蜒而过；临近水岸的边界，适度形成穿林眺望河景的平台，这里不时能够看见飞过的水鸟及白鹭，也是体验未来乐水之居的片刻光景。

The entire footpath in the riverfront area is paved with exposed aggregate. The tree’s canopy, the ground cover, the terrain, the water feature, and the steps all contribute to the sense of “borderless. The fog device installed inside the shrub creates the afternoon mist to relax your mind. It could also create a romantic mood, like the morning fog. The white ribbon wall was elegantly placed in the woods and settled in the terrain. An overlooking deck is strategically located by the river. People could occasionally see the aquatic birds and egrets flying past from this deck and enjoy the waterfront life.

局部挑出驳岸的路径形成了观景的小平台，平台栏杆的细节务求简约，连同横向构件都用最简化的线条构成，让整体水平造型语汇与垂直立杆统一，在简洁的律动里让视线、植物的叶子、光影、水面的波纹，都能在透明感的缝隙之间恣意的渗透、穿越，延伸。

Part of the riverfront path overhangs from the riverbank and becomes an overlooking deck. The railing of the deck is designed in a minimalist way. The handrail is a simple sheet of metal to create a simple horizontal line, which resonates with the vertical railing. These elegant lines create transparency and allow sight lines, light, shadow, and water reflection to pass through.

江心水舍 – 消隐在自然里的玻璃盒子、水岸边的小美术馆 The Glass House, a Glass Box Blending in with Nature, an Art Museum by the Water

江心水舍是示范区阶段的接待中心，也是未来的居民在河畔的主要活动中心。

展示区前半段，参观动线从容地穿越回廊进入水岸，体验水岸开敞且丰富的高差与氛围，而在江心水舍，则是尽可能融合地形、水岸、与室内外空间，让景观、建筑与室内更加无界融合。沿水岸蜿蜒递进、拾级而上，在转角处就能看到开敞明亮的接待大厅；建筑整体环360度用的都是顶底单片构成的大片透明玻璃，务求创造室内外最通透的无界感。

The Glass House is the reception center for Phase One and the community hub by the river for future residents.

For the first half of the circulation in Phase One, visitors walk through the entry corridor, arrive at the riverfront, and enjoy the nature and open view. They will then arrive at the Glass House after a few steps up. Visitors will see a bright, airy glass box from the corner of the path. The architecture uses floor-to-ceiling glass to create the façade and ensure interior and exterior transparency. The Glass House is where the architecture, interior, and landscape harmoniously blend, along with the terrain and riverfront. Visitors could understand the “borderless design” in this area.

水岸边的美术馆 Riverfront Art Museum

饶富艺术氛围的江心水舍，室内外各种细节与布局在这个透明盒子里相互交融呼应、接待台及室内艺术品的设置，采用同调性、色系的材质统整室内外环场的材料、色系、以及竖向上的细节，在各个精工的细部强化无界的融合感。来到这里，感受到的是朝着河畔打开的生活氛围、艺术调性、与无界的自然窗口。

The Glass House is like an art museum, displaying art pieces and beautiful architectural, interior, and landscape details. A color strategy is applied to the interior and exterior materials to create a coordinated color palette. The great attention to every single detail showcases exquisite craftsmanship, which also shows how the “Borderless Design” incorporates each discipline. When visitors arrive here, they are immersed in art, nature, and the borderless riverfront life.

水岸绿坪 Riverfront Lawn

前场干净的草坪让这个玻璃盒子像是一个座落在河畔树林里精致的美术馆，清透的气质让人极度的放松，能够自由的穿越、倘祥在充满绿意与艺术的氛围中。视线与光影在无界的空间内外形成绵延的“展厅”体验。

The neatly trimmed lawn compliments the Glass House and makes it look like a beautiful art museum in the woods by the river. It allows visitors to walk around freely, immersed in greenery and art. It also allows sight line, light, and shadow to pass through. The visiting experience is then extended to the exterior of the Glass House, which is, again, the borderless experience.

我们在草坪与水岸之间设置了一道穿越的动线与平台，窄版规格的竹木让平台的机理更加的细腻。小平台上可以让人们从室内的咖啡吧带着饮料来到水岸闲坐眺望、读书、放松、等待不时出现低飞的水鸟，享受临水的闲适与放松。

A deck is placed between the lawn and the river to create a circulation and resting area. The deck is applied with narrow bands of bamboo wood to create a more delicate look. This deck provides a space for people to relax, sip coffee, read, watch the aquatic birds flying by occasionally, and enjoy the leisurely life by the river.

玻璃盒子的入口花园是室内咖啡吧功能的外场延伸。体积感粗矿但造型细致的条形坐凳横跨小广场与草坪，到访的人群可以轻松地穿越或是在草坪畔，畷饮着咖啡远眺着水岸。

这是一个会呼吸且张弛有度的空间，在场地的内外务求简约与精致，层叠的花台上极其清爽地种满木贼的层次，让花坛纤细的雪白线条与垂直的翠绿植物形成休闲平台背侧的优雅屏风。

The garden by the entry of the Glass House is the extension of the indoor café. Long, chunky, but delicate detailed benches are laid on the plaza and the lawn to allow visitors to sit, enjoying the view toward the river while sipping coffee.

This is an airy and flexible space. Both interior and exterior spaces are simple yet refined. The layered terrace is planted with horsetail to create a refreshing look. The white vertical line of the terrace complimented the lush greenery, becoming an elegant backdrop to the leisure plaza.

江心步月 Moon Bridge

双面临水的地块，也为江湾境创造了跨桥归家的独特体验。这座桥体既是未来居民频密出入水岸的必经动线，也是低平河道上的一弯地标。调性上，我们试图创造＂单一材料就能形塑整座桥体＂的效果，除了两侧的桥墩，整座桥体都由低彩度的隔栅构成。

The parcel includes both sides of the river, providing a great opportunity to set up a bridge and create a unique going-home experience for residents. This bridge will be the essential circulation for residents to go in and out of the waterfront and become a landmark in this river. The bridge is designed in a way that it looks like a whole piece with a single material. It’s composed of grills of muted color, except for the pier of the bridge.

春山谷雨 – 下沉花园 The Valley Garden

这个精致小巧的下沉花园镶嵌在L型的建筑体块之间，考虑到下沉空间的尺度、动线的穿越与串联，以及从室内三面玻璃都能观看的穿透感，我们希望这里的画面感就像“春山谷雨”般的翠绿，能够从室内各个方向都能观看蜿蜒流趟的动态与放松。

下沉空间利用台阶及叠级花坛引入光影的表情，特选的乌桕与景石，在蜿蜒的水系里形成既精致且耐看的核心场景。我们想在各种前序的体验层次之后，进入地下层的体验能够蕴含更多拾极而下的绿意与惊喜。

The Valley Garden is a small sunken garden inside the L-shaped building block. With the consideration of the scale of the space, the connection of circulation, and the view from three sides of the glass façade of the building, we envision this place to be a valley with a lush green that could be enjoyed from the interior spaces, and people could feel the flow of the garden and relax.

The terrace and stairs in the sunken garden draw in light and shadow. The selected Chinese Tallow tree and landscape stone were strategically placed in the garden, among water features, to create an elaborate and fine garden. When visitors enter the lower level, they will have a journey to explore with a pleasant surprise.

洲岛上的异域花园－丹霞洲庭 Danxia Garden

这个花园两侧对着样板房主视线，另一侧则是对着体验中心的玻璃立面，基本上是个需要朝着三面展示岛居生活表情的花园，也是未来居家大区场景的缩影。记得第一次看到江心洲到了傍晚特有的红霞景观，这种特殊的＂离境感＂给予了丹霞洲庭初步的画面灵感，我们希望这个玻璃幕墙围合的小院子，能够从另个维度烘托岛居度假之美。

Danxia Garden can be viewed from two show flats and the Glass House. It’s a garden that could represent the gardens in Phase Two, for visitors to imagine their life as future residents.
When we first visited Jiangxinzhou, we saw the beautiful rosy sunset from the island, inspiring us with the garden’s design. We hope this little garden enclosed by the glass façade can poetically demonstrate the beauty of island life.

结语 Epilogue

这是一次非常特殊的任务与尝试，也是翊象设计第一次与中海集团的合作；十月正式开放的示范区，也荣获了2023年下半年集团优秀示范区奖第一名。

特别感谢业主的信任与全方位的支持。集团在各个阶段的评审、交流、互动与帮助，除了给予设计单位极大的自由度，也给了我们充足的底气进行更有趣的尝试与发挥。从项目启动到示范区落成、大区定稿，由衷感谢南京公司各专业快速高效的互动，以及潘工全程的协助与支持。

示范区呈现的仅只是整个江湾境项目约1/10左右的画面感；未来大区清晰的分区设定，将为项目创造了市场上少有的自然系造景；经典、耐看、丰富的精致景观搭载了浓厚的度假氛围，也将在南京最精华的江心州上，创造新的自然住宅范型。

期待大区，呈现更多更精彩、更真实呈现的完整场景，交付给未来江湾境里享受岛居生活的人们。

This is a very special project with great challenges and a lot of “first time” as it’s the first time Platform Design Group has worked with China Overseas Land and Investment (COLI) . Phase One of Antara has finished construction and was opened to the public in October 2023. It also received the first prize of the Excellence Award of Sales Center from COLI Group.

We want to use this opportunity to thank the trust and support of the client. COLI gave Platform Design Group a lot of freedom to test, develop, and iterate our design ideas and visions. The client also provides support and feedback during each stage. From the kick-off to the construction completion of Phase One and the design confirmation for Phase Two, we are supported by Mr. Pang and other professionals of each discipline with their timely and efficient responses.

Phase One of Antara only showcases one-tenth of the project, but it sets the tone for the rest. Antara will become a brand-new residential typology in the heart of the CBD of Nanjing, with nature settings, elaborate details, timeless design language, and a resort-style atmosphere.

We are looking forward to the rest of the construction of Phase Two to be finished and hope we will deliver a beautiful residential development for the future residents of Antara.
