成都人的“水”情节 The plot of “water” in Chengdu
Chengdu is a city surrounded by water. Whether it is the “Water Village in the South of the Yangtze River” a hundred years ago, or the Funan River in Chengdu that passes through the city today, there is an inseparable connection between Chengdu and water, forming its prosperous and prosperous city. A pattern that is proud of water. Therefore, people living here have a strong feeling for “water”.
The designer deeply interprets the “love of water” of Chengdu people, and has constructed a water world in the Chengdu Xipaicheng project. The designer uses modern and artistic techniques to interpret different forms of waterscapes, creating a “Prosperity Water Space” for residents.
This is a bold attempt to endow the landscape with interactivity through a human perspective, starting from a spiritual level, to meet people’s needs for being hydrophilic and playing in the water.
水“形”物语 Water story
As the saying goes, “No water can make a scene.” Water, as the beginning of the origin of all things, is the foundation of life. It has no fixed shape and is not restricted in shape, and can change into various shapes. The waterscape in the park is very diverse, and the characteristic of “water invisible” gives designers a good space for development. On the main road with a long path span, the contour of the water is more prominent. The designer uses a thin water surface to create the technique, and the water surface along the main road adopts a square structure, and the hardened corners line the water surface more firmly and generously, showing a majestic state.

In order to increase the fun of people’s action lines, the extension of the water mirror presents different interactive scenes. The emergence of jumping springs gives the big water surface the aura of jumping, dotted with different characteristic sculptures, floating tree ponds, etc., to avoid the visual fatigue of people moving online.
Stone steps run through the surface of the waterscape, which not only increases the diversity of the road network form, but also connects the rhythm of the various spaces in the park more closely.
And when people enter the central landscape along the trails of the main road, a large area of water is hidden in the forest. Through the collision of water and buildings, and water and water, different “senses and colors” are stimulated. Here, water The dynamic rhythm is gradually released, and the vibrancy of the landscape is fully displayed before seeing the scene. When you are in the center of the water scene, the sound of water surrounds you, and the spirit is clear.
On the small roads connecting different areas of the park, the “water” posture presents another scene. Here, the water is silent and quiet. It winds along the path and leads to a secluded path. It is a place for people to let go of impetuousness and anxiety and find a treasured place of inner peace.

西派倒影 CITY PARK reflection
Coincidentally because of borrowing, and focusing on physical fitness, the judgments in “Yuan Ye” give us a lot of thinking. The designer uses the “inheritance” method of construction, and uses the characteristics of water to “reflect the world”, to borrow the mountains, roads, buildings, vegetation and other scenic spots in the garden in a decent way, layout according to the situation, and make the scenery outside the garden. Borrowing into the water surface increases the sense of space while forming a strong visual impact.
The creation of the landscape around the water surface will directly determine the visual effect of the “reflection landscape”. Taking into account the different direction of sight, the designer integrates the level and the vertical landscape level, and uses the method of borrowing the virtual landscape to obtain a double landscape experience and increase people’s search secluded fun.
The mirrored waterscape is spread out in the park, and the surrounding scenery is reflected in the water to form a reflection. The space is reflected by the water surface in two, and the top and bottom are reflected, making half true and half dreamlike.
Under the effect of light and shadow, the architectural space and the water surface space are integrated, blurring the boundary of the landscape, enhancing the experience of the landscape space, and making the scenery in the garden, although made by humans, feel like natural.
At night, when the full moon is high, the water surface is like a mirror, reflecting its white face. The light strip lurking under the water mirror is shining as promised, and another “streaming story” will start here.
Different from the traditional landscape technique, the design of “Big Water Method” of Chengdu Xipai City is a unique innovation. Visually, the boundless waterscape in the garden has won a stunning visual impact. At the same time, through the use of “water”, the designer can satisfy the residents’ multi-dimensional experience from the five aspects of vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch.
“Being unique” is the pursuit of the “Western faction” and the confidence of the “Western faction”. However, designers do not blindly pursue a single effect, but always proceed from the perspective of the occupants and users, adhere to the principle of “people-oriented”, and better play the garden landscape function.
