缇安设计：商业更新，可以从一处入口的日常体验开始。
在香港置地光环花园城的世界树入口，我们以热带植物装置参与商业空间的更新。植物与通道、座椅和相邻店铺共同形成新的观看关系：舒展的蕨叶、清晰的叶脉与高低错落的绿意，让人们在经过、等候和休憩时，感受到空间中可亲近的自然。
TEAN Studio: The renewal of a commercial space can begin with the everyday experience of an entrance.
At the World Tree entrance to Hongkong Land’s The Ring Garden City, we introduced a tropical planting installation as part of the renewal of the commercial space. The planting creates new visual relationships with the routes, seating and neighbouring shops. Spreading fern fronds, distinct leaf veins and greenery at varied heights bring nature within reach as people pass through, wait and rest.
这次设计以入口为切入点，将植物配置、空间体验与日常养护放在一起考虑。我们以热带植物模拟入口生态场景，并配置全天候自动滴灌与自动植物光照灯系统，让绿色的介入既有可见的形态，也有支持生长的基础。
我们希望，入口能够承接人流，也容纳片刻停留，让商业更新落在具体的使用感受上。
Taking the entrance as a starting point, the design brings planting, spatial experience and everyday care together. Tropical plants evoke a layered botanical setting, supported by automated drip irrigation and grow lighting. The greenery is conceived both as a visible presence and as living material that needs ongoing support.
We wanted the entrance to accommodate the flow of people while offering a moment to pause, grounding commercial renewal in the experience of using the space.
01 / 商业入口，从通行到停留
入口交汇着不同的路径与步调。种植池之间的通道、叶丛旁的座椅与相邻的咖啡空间，让通行、等候和休憩在这里同时发生。更新的着眼点，是让这些已有的日常活动与植物产生更紧密的联系。
Reframing the Commercial Entrance
Different routes and paces of life meet at the entrance. Paths between planters, seats beside the foliage and the neighbouring café accommodate movement, waiting and rest. The intervention seeks to connect these everyday activities more closely with the planting.

同一段种植界面，在短暂安静与有人经过时呈现不同的节奏。弧形种植池让叶丛沿边缘铺展，通行空间留在绿色体量之间。植物为行走提供连续的观看内容，也让入口成为可以停下来感受的地方。
The same stretch of planting takes on a different rhythm in a quiet moment and as people pass. Foliage spreads along the curved planter edges, with routes remaining between the green volumes. The planting offers a sequence of views along the walk and makes the entrance a place to pause and observe.

高低变化的植物体量，将绿意带入视线、身侧与头顶。低处叶丛沿种植池边缘铺展，竖向叠植向上延伸，顶部植物与下方相互呼应。不同高度共同组织出入口的纵深，使商业空间在人的尺度上获得更丰富的层次。
Planting at different heights brings greenery into view, beside the body and overhead. Low foliage spreads along the planter edges, vertical layers extend upwards, and overhead planting echoes the greenery below. Together, these levels give the entrance depth and enrich the commercial space at a human scale.

植物体量之间保留着可供观看的缝隙。随着步伐移动，前景叶片与后方店铺、通道和人影不断重叠、错开。种植由此参与空间的组织，形成连续变化的视线，让一段日常路径拥有可以慢慢发现的细节。
Gaps between the planted volumes allow views through the foliage. As people move, foreground leaves overlap with, then reveal, shops, routes and figures beyond. The planting helps organise the space through changing sightlines, giving an everyday route details to discover along the way.

座椅为这段体验增加了一个停顿。坐下来之后，植物从远处的整体形象变成近旁可辨认的细节。对于商业入口而言，这样一处可以等候、歇脚或交谈的位置，让空间与日常生活建立起更直接的联系。
Seating introduces a pause within this experience. Once seated, the planting shifts from a distant overall impression to details that can be recognised close at hand. A place to wait, rest or talk gives the commercial entrance a more direct connection with everyday life.

02 / 以植物，重塑场所感受
场所感受的变化，也来自一片叶子所带来的尺度与质感。
A Sense of Place through Planting
A shift in the feeling of a place can begin with the scale and texture of a leaf.
▽叶脉与斑点，让绿色拥有近距离可阅读的细节
宽大的心形叶片撑起饱满的绿色体量，浅色叶脉引导近距离观看；细密的蕨叶向外舒展，使边缘显得轻盈；带有斑点与色泽变化的叶片穿插其间。植物形态的差异，让入口拥有可以被辨认、被记住的细节。
Broad, heart-shaped leaves create full volumes of greenery, while pale veins draw the eye closer. Fine fern fronds spread outwards, softening the edges, and leaves with spots and variations in colour are interspersed among them. These differences give the entrance recognisable and memorable details.

我们通过叶形、尺度、质感与姿态的组合，模拟热带植物彼此交叠的场景。宽与窄、疏与密、挺立与垂落共同构成多层次的植物界面，让空间的识别度来自具体的材料与形态。
By combining leaf forms, scales, textures and gestures, we evoke the overlapping growth of tropical planting. Broad and narrow, dense and open, upright and trailing forms create a layered planting composition, giving the space an identity rooted in its materials and forms.

从稍远处看，植物是一组完整的绿色体量；走近之后，每一处局部又呈现不同纹理。设计同时回应经过时的整体印象与停留时的细节体验，使同一处入口能够在不同距离中被感知。
From a distance, the planting reads as a coherent green volume. Up close, each part reveals a different texture. The design addresses both the overall impression while passing through and the details encountered during a pause, allowing the entrance to be experienced at different distances.

叶片也参与了对商业空间的取景。透过斑叶与枝条的缝隙，店铺玻璃和走动的人影进入背景。植物与周围的日常活动处于同一幅画面中，让入口的场所感在使用中逐渐形成。
Leaves also frame views of the commercial setting. Shop glazing and moving figures enter the background through gaps between patterned foliage and branches. The planting and everyday activities share the same frame, allowing a sense of place to take shape through use.
03 / 在既有空间中，建立新层次
在既有空间中，植物从地面铺展进入竖向叠植，再与顶部绿意相互呼应。空间层次随着植物的介入重新展开，让入口在原有尺度中获得新的观看内容。
下方植物向上伸展的轮廓，与顶部垂落的叶丛之间保留着可见的间隙。枝条和叶片穿插其中，将上下两部分联系起来，也让目光能够穿过装置，继续抵达周围空间。
New Layers within an Existing Space
Within the existing space, planting extends from ground level into vertical layers and echoes the greenery overhead. These botanical layers introduce new views within the entrance’s established dimensions.
A visible gap remains between the upward-reaching outlines of the lower planting and the foliage trailing down from above. Branches and leaves connect the two levels while allowing the eye to pass through the installation into the surrounding space.

换一个高度，装置与既有环境的关系也随之改变。从斜上方看，叶丛的铺展与种植池的弧线更为清楚；转向侧面，玻璃栏板、上下绿意与远处通道形成连续的前后层次。更新发生在这些相互联系的视线之中。
现场顶部的镜面进一步延续了这一体验。叶片与倒影交叠，使植物体量获得更丰富的视觉层次。绿意由地面向上延伸，也将原有材料、光线和人的视线联系起来，形成对既有空间的一次细致回应。
A change in viewing height reveals different relationships between the installation and its setting. Oblique views from above clarify the spread of the foliage and the planter curves. From the side, glass balustrades, planting at different levels and distant routes form successive layers. The intervention works through these connected views.
The mirrored surface overhead extends the experience. Leaves overlap with their reflections, giving the planting greater visual depth. As greenery appears to continue upwards, it brings existing materials, light and human sightlines into relation, responding closely to the setting.

Planting, mirrors, glazing and seating work together in the renewal of the entrance. A new spatial experience emerges through their relationships.
04 / 从空间营造，到日常养护
以活体植物参与商业更新，设计也需要延伸到落成之后。
在这处入口，我们配置全天候自动滴灌系统与自动植物光照灯系统，将供水和补光纳入装置的日常运行。植物的生长需求，由此成为空间设计与持续养护共同面对的内容。
From Spatial Design to Everyday Care
Using living plants in commercial renewal extends the design brief beyond completion.
At this entrance, automated drip irrigation and grow lighting integrate watering and supplemental light into daily operation. The needs of the plants become a shared consideration for spatial design and ongoing care.

自动滴灌将水分输送至种植根区，为植物提供日常供水支持；自动植物光照灯系统承担室内补光。两套系统与植物配置一起构成装置的基础，让可见的绿意与背后的养护条件相互配合。
Automated drip irrigation delivers water to the root zones, while grow lighting provides supplemental light indoors. Together with the planting scheme, these systems form the installation’s foundation, connecting the visible greenery with the conditions needed to care for it.植物是一项会随时

间变化的空间内容。自动系统为日常养护提供支持，浇灌与补光则依据植物需求及实际运行设置展开。设计的考虑因此从完成时的形态，延伸到持续使用中的生长条件。
对商业更新而言，这份持续的照料与空间营造同样值得被考虑。入口中的自然，需要在日常使用与养护之间，逐步形成自己的生长节奏。
Plants are a living part of the space that changes over time. Automated systems support routine care, with watering and lighting guided by plant needs and operating settings. The design therefore considers both the initial composition and the conditions for growth during continued use.
For commercial renewal, ongoing care deserves consideration alongside the making of the space. Nature at the entrance develops its own rhythm through everyday use and maintenance.
05 / 让更新，进入日常使用
现场照片记录了入口中不同的步调：有人快步经过，有人推着婴儿车缓缓前行，也有人停下来休息。商业空间的更新，最终仍要回到这些具体而平常的使用片段。
Renewal through Everyday Use
The photographs capture different paces of life at the entrance: people walking briskly, someone moving slowly with a pushchair, and others stopping to rest. The renewal of a commercial space ultimately finds expression in these ordinary moments of use.

有人并肩走过，有人沿种植池转向另一段通道，也有人坐在叶丛旁歇脚。植物装置为这些活动提供近旁的风景，让入口同时承载通行、相遇和短暂停留。
Some people walk side by side, others turn past the planters into another route, and some sit beside the foliage for a brief rest. The installation offers a nearby landscape for these activities, allowing the entrance to accommodate movement, encounters and brief pauses.

视线也从相邻的咖啡空间重新回到植物。隔着玻璃，清晰的叶片与移动的人影叠合在一起；入口与店铺之间，由此产生相互观看的关系。植物将公共通道与周边空间联系起来，也进入了人们短暂停留时的视野。
Views from the neighbouring café lead back to the planting. Through the glazing, sharply defined leaves overlap with moving figures, creating a visual relationship between the entrance and the shops. The greenery connects the shared route with adjacent spaces and enters the view during a brief pause.

在这个项目中，我们以入口植物装置探索商业更新的一种具体方式：从观看、通行和停留的关系入手，以植物形态组织空间，再以供水与补光支持日常生长。更新的感受，落在一次经过、一段等候，以及再次到来时与这片绿意的相遇之中。
让绿意融入日常，也让商业更新在日常中被感知。
In this project, the entrance planting explores a specific approach to commercial renewal. It begins with the relationships between looking, moving and pausing, uses plant forms to organise space, and supports growth through irrigation and lighting. The intervention is experienced in a walk through, a moment of waiting and an encounter with the greenery on a return visit.
Bringing greenery into everyday life makes renewal part of the everyday experience of a commercial space.
