瀚世景观：过去二十多年，瀚世景观创始人、设计总监赖连取持续参与高端私宅、度假酒店与家族庄园的设计与营造。在长期与高端住宅业主共同工作的过程中，他越来越清楚地看到：当建筑、室内、设备、家具已经达到足够高的标准之后，决定居住品质继续向上走的，往往不再是增加一种材料、添置一件家具，而是住宅与自然之间的关系。

赖连取把它概括成一句话：“让自然成为生活的奢华本质。”这也是瀚世景观这些年一直在做的事情。

HANCS:For over two decades, JERRY Lai Founder & Design Director of HANCS Landscape, has been engaged in the design and construction of high-end private residences, resort hotels and family estates.Through years of collaboration with homeowners of premium properties, he has come to realize a key insight:Once architecture, interior finishes, mechanical systems and furnishings reach a high standard, further elevation of living quality rarely comes from adding new materials or furniture pieces. Instead, it hinges on the relationship between the residence and nature.

JERRY Lai sums up this philosophy in one sentence:“Nature is the true luxury of living.”This is exactly what HANCS Landscape has been committed to accomplishing over the years.

豪宅的成本，最后花在哪里？土地、建筑、结构、机电、智能系统、石材、木作、家具、艺术品……一栋高端住宅的建造，是由大量专业与成本共同完成的。但在赖连取看来，当住宅的基础品质已经足够高以后，单纯增加建造成本，并不一定等比例增加生活品质。“你可以买一辆昂贵的车，也可以买一件昂贵的家具，因为它们都有相对明确的产品标准。但一个真正舒服、成熟的园子，不是有钱以后马上就可以买到的。”因为造园除了成本，还需要土地、设计、现场判断、植物生长以及时间。这也是瀚世景观坚持从设计一直走到现场的重要原因。不是完成一张图纸，而是把建筑、室内、自然和人的生活，最终落实为一个完整的环境。

Where does the cost of a luxury mansion ultimately go? Land, construction, structural engineering, MEP systems, smart home systems, stone cladding, custom woodwork, furniture, art collections… The building of a high-end residence is brought to life through a great deal of expertise and investment.Yet in JERRY Lai’s view, once the home’s foundational quality reaches a high standard, simply raising construction costs will not necessarily boost living quality proportionally.“You can purchase an expensive car or a luxury piece of furniture, for these products come with relatively clear specifications. But a truly comfortable, mature garden cannot be bought instantly, even with abundant funds.”Beyond capital, garden-making requires land, thoughtful design, on-site judgment, plant growth, and time. This is why Hanshi Landscape insists on staying involved from design through on-site implementation.Our goal is not merely to deliver a drawing, but to integrate architecture, interior spaces, nature and human life into one cohesive living environment。

景观未必是豪宅成本最高的一项，却可能是让前面所有昂贵投入真正形成生活价值的最后一环。

Landscape may not account for the largest share of a luxury mansion’s cost,yet it is often the final link that brings real living value to all those prior substantial investments.

▽花园建造施工现场，把建筑、室内、自然和人的生活，最终落实为一个完整的环境

对赖连取而言，造园真正有意思的地方，从来不是在住宅之外增加一个漂亮的花园。而是经过五年、十年甚至更长时间以后，建筑会旧，家具会更换，设备会迭代，而树木却越来越大，石头留下时间的痕迹，主人和家人也在这里留下自己的生活。这也是瀚世景观对于高端私宅景观的理解：不是为豪宅增加装饰，而是为生活增加自然；不是完成一个项目，而是开始一座园的生命。

For JERRY Lai, the true magic of garden‑making lies never in adding a beautiful garden as an appendage to a residence. Rather, as five, ten or even more years pass, buildings age, furniture is replaced, and equipment is upgraded.
