三益中国：喧嚣繁华世界，都市的人情味被来来往往的脚步冲淡，人与人之间的距离越来越远。
如果有这么一个空间，它既可以延长一天的长度，又可以拓展一天的宽度，聚合邻里欢笑，为社区增添色彩，让阅读成为一种习惯，让书屋成为心灵的一个驿站。
SUNYAT：In the noisy and bustling world, the human touch of the city is diluted by the constant hustle and bustle. The distance between people is getting farther and farther apart.
If there is a space where time can be extended and width can be expanded, it can bring neighbors together and add color to the community, make reading a habit, and turn the bookstore into a spiritual relay station.
从图书馆、书店到城市书屋，变化的是服务方式和阅读理念，不变的是文化服务的温度和深度。作为一种新型公共文化空间，“小而美”的城市书屋正逐渐成为了精致社区的新趋势，文化生活的新亮点。
此次三益受邀将幸乐路上一座原本废旧的底商重新激活，改造成为集城市客厅、公益书屋、精品咖啡等多功能为一体的城市书屋，带动整个区域的文化及商业氛围提升，为街区注入了全新活力。
From libraries and bookstores to urban bookstores, the service mode and reading philosophy have changed, but the warmth and depth of cultural services remain the same. As a new type of public cultural space, the “small but beautiful” urban bookstore is becoming a new trend in refined communities, a new highlight of cultural life.
This time, Sunyat was invited to reactivate a previously abandoned ground-floor space on Xingle Road, transforming it into a multi-functional urban bookstore that includes a city living room, public book house, and boutique coffee, driving the cultural and commercial atmosphere of the entire area and injecting new vitality into the community.
#虹桥国际社区生活新提案# New Proposal for Life in Hongqiao International Community
本次项目位于上海市闵行区华漕镇核心区域的幸乐路，该区域是上海2035总体规划中虹桥城市副中心重要组成部分，比邻虹桥商务区与上海会展中心，周边有大量中高端住宅区，紧邻上海美国学校。
This project is located on Xingle Road in the core area of Huacao Town, Minhang District, Shanghai. This area is an important part of the Hongqiao Urban Sub-center in Shanghai’s 2035 overall plan, adjacent to the Hongqiao Business District and the Shanghai Exhibition Center. There are many high-end residential areas around and it is close to the Shanghai American School.

《虹桥国际开放枢纽中央商务区“十四五”规划》中提出要推进新一代国际社区建设，打造功能完善的品质生活圈，构建高品质宜居宜业的国际社区。然而幸乐路现状缺乏活力、设施陈旧的街道似乎与虹桥商务区的国际时尚街区的定位显得格格不入，亟待升级改造。
The “14th Five-Year Plan” for the Hongqiao International Open Hub Central Business District proposes to promote the construction of a new generation of international communities, create a well-functioning quality living circle, and build a high-quality livable and business-friendly international community. However, Xingle Road is currently lacking in vitality, and the outdated facilities on the street seem incompatible with the positioning of the international fashion district of the Hongqiao Business District, and urgently need to be upgraded and renovated.

此次三益的建筑师将“商业、休闲、开放、社群、亲和”等关键词相融合，提出了一份社区生活场景的新提案：通过城市书屋的植入为街区注入全新价值，在提升区域文化及商业氛围的同时，为城市创造更多公共休闲空间和社交机会，在城市界面形成一个崭新的生活互动空间。
How can we reactivate the poorly-performing ground-floor businesses, make the streets more interesting and attractive public spaces, and inject new vitality into the area?
This time, the architects of Sunyat have proposed a new proposal for community life scenes by integrating keywords such as “business, leisure, openness, community, and affinity”. By introducing a city library into the community, we can inject new value into the area, enhance the regional cultural and commercial atmosphere, create more public leisure space and social opportunities for the city, and form a brand-new interactive living space on the urban interface.

As a pilot project for regional block renewal, this renovation aims to create a new iconic facade, break space constraints, integrate multiple functions, create a more experiential and sustainable new public cultural space for the community with multiple possibilities and lead a new paradigm for block-type business renewal.

个性化店招激活街区活力
一本书可以温暖一个人，一间书屋可以温暖一座城市，书屋外是喧嚣的城市，书屋里是安静的读者，当阅读成为一种习惯，书屋便成为心灵的一个驿站。
Personalized storefront signage activates neighborhood vitality
A book can warm a person’s heart, and a bookstore can warm an entire city. Outside the bookstore is the bustling city, while inside is a quiet space for readers. When reading becomes a habit, the bookstore becomes a station for the soul.

作为街道界面、建筑立面中最具生机和活力的元素之一，店招是城市街道“烟火气”的重要组成部分。本次书屋店招设计以“心灵驿站”为概念，在立面上创造一个心电图一般的，具有打破性的动态城市景观，从而打破书店空间固有的“静态、专注、凝固化”刻板特质。
As one of the most vibrant and dynamic elements of the urban street interface and building façade, storefront signage is an important part of the urban street’s “fireworks” atmosphere. The design of this bookstore signage takes the concept of a “soul station”, creating a dynamic urban landscape reminiscent of an electrocardiogram on the façade, breaking the inherent “static, focused, and solidified” stereotypes of traditional bookstore spaces.

设计以模拟心电图形式的折线为分割，将上部浅灰色质感涂料与下部贴近自然的防腐木材料相互咬合，形成如心电图般跃动的“心动的信号”。同时设计巧妙地将灯带与材料封缝相结合，避免了书屋较长沿街立面的冗长感和沉闷感，大幅度提升了书屋辨识度，并传递给人一种温度感与亲和力。
The design divides the façade into segments resembling an electrocardiogram using simulated line shapes. The upper part of the façade uses a light gray textured coating, while the lower part uses natural and weather-resistant wood materials, which are interlocked to form a “heart-pumping signal” that jumps like an electrocardiogram. The design cleverly combines light strips with the material seal, avoiding a long and dull facade, greatly improving the bookstore’s recognition, and conveying a sense of warmth and affinity to people.

与街道互动的可开启立面
人们和书的关系日渐疏离，我们希望这个空间能增加人与人、人与书的邂逅，使人们对书产生新的认识。因此建筑师将立面打开，让室内和室外空间相互渗透，创造了一个轻松惬意、充满活力的座位区。
an openable facade that interacts with the street
The relationship between people and books is increasingly estranged. We hope that this space can increase encounters between people and books, as well as between people, to make people have new insights into books. Therefore, the architect opened up the facade to allow the interior and exterior spaces to interpenetrate, creating a relaxed and vibrant seating area.

设计引入斜线对原有窗洞口进行切分再造，与“心电图”形成呼应，通过大面积的玻璃窗打破室内外硬边界，增加互动性和视觉上的触碰与连接，并将窗洞与休闲座位区相结合，通过“屋”形外轮廓的设计，营造出“城市客厅”的温馨氛围。
The design introduces diagonal lines to divide and reconstruct the original window openings, echoing the “electrocardiogram” and breaking the hard boundary between the interior and exterior through large glass windows. It increases interactivity and visual touch and connection, and combines window openings with a leisure seating area. Through the design of the outer contour of the “house”, it creates a warm atmosphere of the “city living room”.

通过与街道互动的可开启立面设计，在城市界面形成一个崭新的生活互动空间，无论周边居民还是到访游客，都可在此停留小憩，创造出更多公共休闲空间和社交机会，也为居民提供了一种以“阅读”为蓝本的新的生活方式，在这里，可以以阅读之名，品读城市，追寻内心的诗与远方……
Through the interactive and openable facade design with the street, a new living interaction space is formed in the urban interface. Whether it is surrounding residents or visiting tourists, they can stop and rest here, creating more public leisure space and social opportunities. It also provides residents with a new way of life based on “reading”, where they can read the city and pursue poetry and distance in the name of reading.

作为全民阅读的新型服务载体，城市书屋的出现，不仅大大拓展了公共文化服务领域的覆盖面，打通了公共阅读服务的“最后一公里”，更是一座城市最具温度的文化地标。

As a new type of service carrier for nationwide reading, the emergence of urban libraries has greatly expanded the coverage of public cultural services and bridged the “last mile” of public reading services, making them the warmest cultural landmarks in the city.

此次幸乐路城市书屋以书为媒介，从城市客厅、文创区、城市长廊、儿童阅览区、私人阅览区到咖啡厅，合理布局容纳复合功能，以温馨自然的水绿色、浅米色、明橙色为空间主色调，将多业态结合新场景，打造出一个以阅读为灵魂的综合文化艺术空间，并面向居民免费开放。
The Xingle Road Urban Library uses books as a medium to accommodate multiple functions, including urban living room, creative area, urban corridor, children’s reading area, private reading area, and cafe, with a warm and natural color scheme of water green, light beige, and bright orange. By combining multiple formats in a new context, it creates a comprehensive cultural and artistic space with reading as its soul, and is open to residents for free.

作为新一代的国际化未来书屋，幸乐路城市书屋兼顾国际社区外籍人士以及国际学生的阅读需求，引进多种类进口版图书、双语图书。打造“先行读书会”“It’s Book O’Clock/正是书时”双语沙龙，为读者提供不同层次、不同领域的文化活动。
As a new generation of international future libraries, the Xingle Road Urban Library caters to the reading needs of foreign residents and international students in the international community, introducing various imported and bilingual books. It also creates bilingual salons such as the “First Reader Society” and “It’s Book O’Clock” to provide readers with cultural activities of different levels and fields.

In the future, the library will invite Chinese and foreign readers in the surrounding areas to share their reading experiences in the form of reader salons, and regularly hold theme exhibitions on Shanghai culture, science popularization, fashion trends, art appreciation, etc., so that citizens can enjoy public spaces and public reading services with knowledge, warmth, and passion at their doorstep.

The facade transformation of the Xingle Road Urban Library makes full use of idle and transitional public space resources in the block, revitalizing stock space and injecting cultural elements, radiating and driving the transformation of the block’s positioning, leading a new lifestyle. This high utilization transformation model will lead the future of block-based commercial renewal and become a driving force for the development of dynamic cities.
