图石设计：虎门TOD是以高速铁路为导向的城市综合开发，高速铁路的效能在这里达到最大化。在虎门TOD的世界，时间是被精确控制的对象，向南17分钟是深圳，向北17分钟是广州，效率提升给人带来了差异化的时间感受。时间，现代都市人争分夺秒追逐的对象，在这样一个强调时间观念的场地上，不禁让我们发问：什么是时间？
ToThree: Humen TOD is a comprehensive urban development project highlighting the high-speed railways. Time is emphasized in this project, as it is precisely controlled: 17 minutes to Shenzhen and 17 minutes to Guangzhou by train. It arouses the questing of the essence of Time: what it exactly is?

什么是时间？这看似是一个常识性的问题，但是如果细问的话，谁也不能真正说明白。
What is time? It seems to be a common sense that requires no question, but if we think deeper, no one can define it
▼艺术观念表达 Expression of artistic concept
现实世界里，我们感受到的时间是在向未来流动的。牛顿建立的经典物理学对时间的理解就是一个单向的维度，时间是绝对的。
We feel time is something that flows one way into future, an understanding of time same as that in classical Physics established by Newton: Time is absolute.
▼时间感受的视觉化，装置艺术的方式 The visualization of time
但爱因斯坦的相对论提出：速度越快，时间越慢；引力越大，时间越慢。时间变成了时间加空间*。
But in Einstein’s theory, time is relative: the faster the object travels, the slower the time is; the greater the gravity, the slower the time is.
相对论这个看似难以理解的的物理定律，用手机导航就能做最好的说明，手机导航依赖 GPS卫星定位，卫星在2万公里的高空，以1.4万公里/时的速度运转，高速让卫星上的时钟比地面每天慢7微秒，但卫星远离地球所受到的引力小，所以比地面上每天又要快45微秒，这两个效应相减，卫星每天要比地面快38微秒，如果不校正时差，就会导致手机导航出现100多米的位置偏差。
Mobile phone navigation is the best case to understand Relativity. Mobile phone navigation relies on GPS satellite positioning. The satellite operates at an altitude of 20,000 kilometers at a speed of 14,000 kilometers per hour. The clock on the satellite is 7 microseconds slower than the ground every day, but the gravitational force received by the satellite away from the earth is tiny, so it is 45 microseconds faster than the earth every day. These two effects are subtracted, and the satellite is 38 microseconds faster than the earth every day. If the time difference is not corrected, it will cause a position deviation of more than 100 meters for mobile navigation.
在量子力学派看来时间加空间都是由最基本的量子态叠加构成的，时间和空间不再是连续的，存在着平行宇宙，如果你能化身为光子，那你就能在平行世界当中穿越。
In the view of quantum mechanics, time plus space are composed of the most basic superposition of quantum states. Time and space are no longer continuous. There are Multiverses. If you were transformed into a photon, you could traverse free in them.
牛顿眼中的时间就是离弦之箭；爱因斯坦眼中时间更像浩瀚的河流，随着引力和速度的变化而蜿蜒流淌；量子力学派眼中的时间，就像烟波浩渺的云海，所有时间都在，却又难以企及。
时间从一个最简单的常识变成了最诡异的东西，时间成了宇宙间最大的秘密。
Time in Newton’s view is an arrow shot from the string; It is more like a vast river in Einstein’s theory, winding and flowing with the changes of gravity and speed; In the theory of quantum mechanics, time is like a sea of clouds. Time is something we know, but impossible to reach.
Time has changed from the simplest common sense to the strangest thing, and has become the biggest secret in the universe.
我们通过具有当代性的公共艺术创作《叠加时态》，在虎门TOD创造出了对时间的视觉化认识，对三种时间认知的聚合态表现。
Through our contemporary public art design “Stacking time”, we have created a visual understanding of time in Humen TOD.It is a convergent expression of above three theories on time.
《叠加时态》由60根镜面时针构成，机械装置表现出无限循环的莫比乌斯环，这是一种经典时间的流动感受。
Composed of 60 mirrored metal rods, the mechanically driven installation acts as an endless loop of Möbius ring, which is a flow of time in classical physics.
机械装置所带来的形态变化，对周边光线的反射，让整个空间弥漫着神秘氛围，好像时间已经被时刻运转的装置改变了，让时间与空间、速度、物质和光发生了关联。
The changes of form and the reflection of the light creates a mysterious atmosphere, as if time has been twisted, showing the relevance of time, space, speed, matter and light.
节奏的变化，光线的韵律创造了一个独特的态的叠加场，这让整个场地独立于城市，再造出一个新的时区。
The installation shows the complexity of time, making the site seem to be independent of the city. A new zone has been created.
聚 Polymerization
物质的聚合构成了我们生存的时空。纵横交错的网络矩阵定格了时间，在恒定与静谧中，观察世界静默的运行在时间的框架里。
The aggregation of matter constitutes the time and space in which we live. The crisscrossing network matrix defines certain time.
《聚》通过高反光的金属网格矩阵，描述了一个时空曲率大到光都无法逃脱的天体–黑洞。这是一个无比强大的能量场，它的质量大到能吸引任何经过它的物质。
Polymerization is a highly reflective metal grid matrix. It depicts a celestial body whose space-time curvature is so massive that light cannot escape it-a black hole. This is an extremely powerful energy field, and its mass is large enough to attract any matter passing through it.
在黑洞的吸引下，时间变慢了，甚至停止了。如果黑洞能被看见，那时间是不是，如同挂在空中无限延展的编织光带……
Under the attraction of the black hole, time slows down or even stops. If the black hole can be seen, then time, would be like a woven light belt hanging in the air and extends indefinitely…
隧 Tunnel
连结，穿越，超时空接触……
虫洞的另一个端头是否连接着平行宇宙？
我们能否通过虫洞进行时间旅行？
Connecting, time traveling, space travling…
Is the other end of the wormhole connected to another paralleled universe?
Can we travel through wormholes?
由光线编织的连接两个遥远时空的多维空间隧道，是人类的奇幻猜想，是物理学里的概念假设，是连接过去与未来的通道。
The multi-dimensional space tunnel woven by light that connects two time and space is a fantasy conjecture of mankind, a conceptual hypothesis in physics, and a channel connecting the past and the future.
眼前的装置是虫洞还是具备负质量的幻影物质，我们能否穿越其中，探寻到时间的奥秘？我们能否跨越光速的限定，看到宇宙的起源和终点？
Is the device in front of us a wormhole or a phantom material with negative mass, can we go through it and explore the mystery of time? Can we cross the limit of the speed of light and see the origin and end of the universe?
时间漫游 Time traveling
由库布里克执导的科幻电影《2001：太空漫游》，其中的一段描述了人类追寻未知（黑石）而进行太空探索，在旅途中人类遭遇了飞船上人工智能的反噬，主人公冒险关闭了人工智能的枢纽，随后只身进入时空隧道，高速穿越……
In the science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey directed by Kubrick, it describes humans pursuing the unknown (Black Rock) and exploring space. During the journey, humans encounter the backlash of artificial intelligence on the spacecraft. The protagonist takes the risk to shut down the artificial intelligent hub then enters the space-time tunnel alone and crosses at high speed…
五十多年前的这部经典科幻电影，想象了一个奇特的时空，人工智能的枢纽在电影里是一组透明晶体，它们阵列排布在机房，发出莹莹亮光。
This classic science fiction movie made over 50 years ago created a peculiar time and space. In the movie, the hub of artificial intelligence is a group of transparent crystals, which are arranged in an array in the computer room and emit bright light.
这组晶体被我们设置在了场地上，形成整个空间中信息发布的载体。在莫比乌斯形态的城市展厅下，这组晶体散发着未来感。
This group of crystals was the carrier for information in the entire space. Under the city exhibition hall in the form of Mobius, this group of crystals exudes a sense of the future.
经过出自未来的指引，我们是否能够穿越时空，进行一场时间旅行。抑或它是另一个“奥德赛”，我们需要突破物理时空的“奥德赛”限制，才能自由地在时空中探索。
After the guidance from the future, can we travel through time and space? Or is it another “Odyssey”, we need to break through the “Odyssey” restrictions of physical space-time in order to freely explore space-time.
其他空间的导示处理方式 Other spaces of the project
结合室内和地下车库具体环境的变化，匹配空间的基础材料语言，环境信息通过强调平面化的线性要素来强调系统联系。
环境视觉系统中的基础要素为设计向室内空间的延展提供了丰富的表达方式，室内标识与基础环境充分结合，侧立面的金属材料与基底质感形成顺接关系。
Combining the changes in the specific environment of indoor and underground garages, matching the basic material language of the space, the environmental information emphasizes the system connection by emphasizing the linear elements of planarization.
The basic elements in the environmental visual system provide a rich expression for the extension of the design to the indoor space. The indoor logo is fully integrated with the basic environment, and the metal material of the side facade forms a smooth relationship with the texture of the base.
细线组织出的图形系统，标识出各空间职能，并贯穿在各功能设施设备上。
The graphic system formed by thin lines identifies different space functions and different functional facilities and equipment.
车行系统的导示设计，也会通过平面化线型的组织方式形成视觉化线索的描述。
The signage design for underground car parking system also follows the planar and linear organization.
在虎门TOD项目环境视觉系统的构建中，以时间为主题线索，通过对时间视觉化的探索，用艺术化的方式展现时间的多样性观念，探索时间的奥秘。
In the building of the environmental visual system of the Humen TOD project, time is the theme clue, through the exploration of time visualization, the diversified concept of time is displayed in an artistic way.
