Davit Jilavyan：也许大家都还记得我们的索诺拉住宅项目，但新关注我们的人可能还不知道。索诺拉住宅是我们在墨西哥做的一个概念性房屋，虽然这个项目现在是暂停状态，但基于我们对此概念充满热情，我们依然选择继续完成了其设计并展示了出来，没有想到会有这么多人喜欢，我们也感到非常惊讶和高兴。很多人给我们写信表达他们的感受，说他们受到了这个项目的启发，对我们来说，这就是最重要和最令人愉快的，同时也证明了着我们的选择是正确的。
Davit Jilavyan：Probably you all remember our sonora house project. For the new followers, we made a house concept in Mexico, It was frozen, but we gladly finished it and showed you. We didn’t expect so many people to like him and were very surprised. A lot of people have been writing to us about their feelings, saying they’re inspired by this project, and for us it was very important and enjoyable. Maybe that confession meant we were doing something right.

“We are young architects and visualizers from Moscow. Our friend from Mexico wanted us to create the concept of the house for one family. They wanted simple and bright house, but they didn’t want it to be like a simply coloured box with windows. We didn’t want to invent something new, we wanted to harmoniously combine the color and shape. In our project we used pitched roof with an internal gutter system. In order to get away from the standard use of windows, we decided to make them scatter, of different shapes and sizes. In addition to custom design, this solution allows light to come into all rooms of the house. So here we can see long ago invented bright coloured house with some modern minimalistic shape. Despite to these bright vision we made it fits in with the environment. Unfortunately, at some stage the project was suspended, but we were passionate about the idea of this concept, so we completed it.”

将近一年过去了，世界在这段时间里发生了很大的变化，很遗憾并没有变得更好。今年，我们也一直在努力工作，在自我隔离期间，四周的墙壁，激发了我们用索诺拉住宅这样的房子建造一个村庄的灵感。我们想创造一个可以让人们感受到新新世界的地方，远离灰色的现实，感受一些明亮的3D或者说卡通空间。这是一个没有偏见，没有种族歧视、性别歧视、羞辱霸凌的世界。我们致力创造一种完全不同的氛围，让它充满喜悦、爱和幸福。
索诺拉艺术村落是我们情感的爆发，这正是我们在现实中所缺乏的。
It’s been almost a year. The world has changed a lot over this time, unfortunately not for the better. We’ve been working very hard this year. Sitting in self-isolation, surrounded by four walls, it occurred to us to create a whole village from houses like Sonora House. We wanted to create a place where people can come and feel for a while in a completely different place, far from the grey reality, to feel in some bright 3D space, or even a cartoon. It’s a place free from prejudice. There’s no place for racism, sexism, humiliation. We tried to create a completely different atmosphere that would exude joy, love,happiness.
Sonora Art Village is an explosion of our emotions, it’s what we lack in reality.
我们受到了大师里卡多·博菲尔(Ricardo Bofill)和路易斯·巴拉干(Luis Barragan)作品的启发。他们的建筑与此息息相关，人们常瞻仰他们的建筑，在其中拍照片、拍电影，模仿他们的设计，运用其中的某些元素，我们也不例外。毕竟，它们不仅仅是普通的建筑，而是艺术品。
我们并没有把自己和这些大师放在一起的意思，但以“索诺拉艺术村落”项目的名义，我们想表明的是，我们的项目不仅仅是居住空间，也是一种艺术，每栋房子都像一座雕塑。
我们的目标就是做上次一样简单但不寻常的事情。
We were inspired by the works of great masters Ricardo Bofill and Luis Barragan. Their buildings are still very relevant, people take photos of them, shoot in the movies, do something similar, using some elements, and we are among them. This is not just ordinary architecture, but a work of art.
We do not put ourselves in line with these masters in any way, but in the name of the project ‘Sonora Art Village’ we wanted to show that our project is not just guest houses, but an art. Every house is like a sculpture.
Our goal was to do something as simple as last time, but unusual.
多亏我们第一次设计的索诺拉住宅受到了大家热烈反馈，我们才坚定了继续该设计的想法，并开始有了将整个村庄设计成类似住宅的念头，为人们打造一个精神乐园。
Thanks to the way our house was warmly welcomed for the first time, we thought that maybe we should continue this idea, and came up with a whole village of similar houses, where people can relax.
索诺拉艺术村落没有明确的系统，房子的位置也杂乱无章，每栋房子都有自己丰富多彩的道路。总的来说，房子并没有改变，只是整体尺寸改变了，有中等大小的房子，也有非常小的迷你房。在几何学方面，我们运用了半圆形的拱门、通道、小的悬挑设计。有些房子比较高，有些比较低，所以村子里有很多小楼梯，让人感觉身处在超级马里奥的游戏里，不停的上上下下。
房子旁边的窗户和以前一样多，这样可以获得更多的自然采光。坐落在山坡上的房子，配有独立游泳池，以及一个大型的公共游泳池。
In Sonora Art Village there is no clear system, the houses are located chaotically, each house has its own colorful path. Cardinally, the house has not changed,there are changed the overall dimensions, there were houses of medium size and very small. With regard to geometry, we began to use semicircular arches, passageways, small overhanging volumes. Some houses are higher, some are lower, so the village has a lot of small stairs, which makes it feel like you’re going up and down in a game like Super Mario.
The windows by the houses are as chaotic as they used to be so that more natural light penetrates. The houses which are located on the slope have their own swimming pools and also have one large pool for common use.
有些房子之间的走道上还设有种植着大量植物的花坛，有点像绿洲，但也有许多仙人掌，因为我们喜欢仙人掌。
In the aisles between some houses there are flowerbeds with large vegetation. It’s kind of an oasis, but still with cacti. Big cactuses. We love cactuses.
每栋房子都有与之相对应的灯光设计。到了晚上，这个地方就变成了一个超大型的灯光装置，天空被照映成不同的颜色。
The houses still have nighttime lights in their colors. At night, this place turns into a light installation and the sky is painted in different colors.
另外，住宅内部并非所有的东西都是粉色和黄色，我们在此做了不同的颜色组合，且每个都使用了两种颜色和我们经典的白色窗框。
By the way, at home everything is not in the usual pink and yellow color, we have made a different combination of colors, but each uses two colors and our classic white window volumes.
然而，这只是一个非商业性质的概念设计，只是一件艺术品，但如果有一天我们的项目能够成为现实，可以真的让人们进入一个完全不同的氛围世界，我们会非常高兴。
So this is just a concept, non commercial, just a piece of art. But anyway we would be happy if one day our project became a reality to let people dive into a completely different atmosphere.
