2021年初，贵阳中铁楠院与珑府两个项目同时启动，幸运的是他们都具备原生的自然禀赋。这样的条件下，”自然” 注定是设计不可规避的基因。如果说珑府传达的是自然给予人的感悟，用设计致敬自然 ；那楠院便是设计顺应自然的过程，我们将看到更多的克制与包容性 。
接下来的文章将以 “迟来的两棵古树”为引，诠释一个顺应自然的设计以及一次 利用场地资源解决场地矛盾 的过程。

At the beginning of 2021, the two projects of Guiyang China Railway Nanyuan and Longfu were launched at the same time. Fortunately, they both have native natural endowments. Under such conditions, “nature” is destined to be an unavoidable gene for design. If Longfu conveys the perception that nature gives to people, paying tribute to nature with design; Nanyuan is the process of design conforming to nature, and we will see more restraint and inclusiveness.
Compared with Longfu, Nanyuan is a mountainous area with two 300-year-old trees at the center. It has more complex site contradictions and construction difficulties, which also delays the presentation of the Apocalypse of Nature (Part 2).
The next article will use “two ancient trees that came late” as a reference to explain a design that conforms to nature and a process of using site resources to resolve site conflicts.

Before the project started, the owner sent us such a photo.
The two ancient trees with staggered crowns, against the backdrop of a native background forest, are like layers of greenery, as vivid as a swaying freehand landscape painting. With the team’s many visits to the original site, the ancient trees have presented us with different states beyond the freehand representation from different perspectives from far to near.
What will the “shes” bring us?

The overall terrain of the project presents the original form of high in the south and low in the north, with a height difference of 23 meters, and our ancient trees are located at the core height of the site, bringing together the visual focus.
The venue gave us two issues to address:
1. How to make good use of the 23-meter height difference of the site, create a reasonable space rhythm, and weaken the fatigue caused by the height?
2. The ancient trees are located at the commanding heights of the site and have the dominance of dominating the site. How will we present them?

1.张扬与内敛 Publicity and restraint

/ 内敛：入境转换，人的视线在入口处被 恰当压缩 ，这种略带刻意的隔绝亦是某种直白的强调，乍显内敛的恢弘。

2.顺势的自然 Homeopathic nature

Going back to the long road, we follow the tone of nature, plant trees on the slope, the road is long and winding, and a gentle shallow stream runs through the site, which also forms an inevitable foreshadowing.

The source of the stream is the waterfall, stepping on the bridge to watch the waterfall, in the homeopathy, immersed in the integration of everything and nature, and the space has a unique natural context. Suddenly, the distance with the ancient tree was shortened.
3.行驻间的探索欲望 The desire to explore
Stop just for better expression.
We set up a short pause near the old tree, which doesn’t require too much pen and ink. Walking through the forest is the brewing of emotions, and it also stimulates the desire to explore between the walking and the station.

4.写意林下行 Freehand forest down
Natural forest and free passage.
古树旁是一片由 23颗原生乔木 构成的林，她们并没有取巧的形态，甚至是自由散漫的。但这份拙朴的力量，却给予这片原生之境更多的想象空间。我们利用林的间隙规划林下通道，感受穿行乐趣。
Next to the old trees is a forest composed of 23 native trees. They have no tricky shapes, and are even free and loose. But this humble power has given this original realm more room for imagination. We use the gaps in the forest to plan the passage under the forest, and feel the fun of walking.

5.拙朴下的藏与露 Hiding and revealing under the humble
The pavilion is hidden in the woods.
Behind the forest is a high-level Jingting Pavilion. It does not seem to have a complete viewing surface when passing through the forest. We hope that it can coexist with this pristine native forest and has more possibilities for different perspectives.

6.看与被看的守护 The guardian of seeing and being seen

The pavilion is the thickest background of the ancient trees, and it is also the best guardian of this original forest. Walking into the pavilion, this native forest has also become the best sight to see. Invisibly, they guard each other between watching and being watched.

Backtracking the Design Process, The biggest difficulty is the two 300-year-old trees for them, No amount of modification is superfluous, Restoring their own form is the most powerful interpretation.
最终，经过多轮碰撞后，我们采取了 轻设计、微介入 的手法去呈现场地的核心价值点，让空间成为古树最好的归宿。
In the end, after several rounds of collisions, we adopted the approach of light design and micro-intervention to present the core value points of the site, making the space the best destination for ancient trees.

两棵古树，一棵置于干净的草坡，用自然的柔美去呈现她的状态。一棵用现场的原生石块简单的砌合结合地面的人工凿接，让古树成为一个纯粹的场。 柔软与刚硬 间的纯粹对话，是对自然最直接的敬畏。
Perhaps only by looking up under the old trees can one feel the sense of awe they bring with their scales. And pure is the best expression of this awe.
Two ancient trees, one placed on a clean grassy slope, presents her state with natural softness. A simple masonry with native stones on site combined with artificial chiseling on the ground makes the ancient tree a pure field. The pure dialogue between softness and rigidity is the most direct awe of nature.

楠院在开发前是一座小山头，在探访古树的过程中，我们同样看到山体开发后满目疮痍的场地。在挖掘机的轰鸣声下，空旷的场地有着莫名的悲凉。到处堆砌着挖掘后的石块，被砍下的树苗及裸露在岩土里的石头。他们原本都是这个场地的组成要素，但随着项目进程，这一切将被运离场地。然后和所有项目的操作流程一样，通过设计的介入，让场地获得新生。但这是否 具备与场地共融的自洽性 ？
Nanyuan was a small hill before the development. During the process of visiting the old trees, we also saw the devastated site after the development of the mountain. Under the roar of the excavator, the empty site had an inexplicable sadness. Excavated stones, felled saplings and exposed stones were piled up everywhere. They were originally elements of the site, but as the project progresses, all of this will be transported off the site. Then, like the operation process of all projects, through the intervention of design, let the site get new life. But does this have the self-consistency of communion with the site?
At the scene, there were a lot of rubble chiseled by excavators, and they were not in good shape. We use them as the retaining walls of the boundary by building them, which saves costs and strengthens the local attributes through the mottled texture, which also echoes the ancient trees.

团队在现场专门待了一个星期，走遍项目周边的山头，最终选定了 57块 山里的原生风化石 ，并对每一块石头进行编号与测量。最终在模型空间确定具体的位置，在落地过程和甲方一起对这些造型石头进行精确的摆放。
The team stayed at the site for a week, walked all over the hills around the project, and finally selected 57 original weathered stones in the mountains, and numbered and measured each stone. Finally, the specific location is determined in the model space, and the modeling stones are accurately placed together with Party A during the landing process.
During the process of stone selection, we found that there are some red and yellow rocks on the site, which are clearly recognizable. We re-stacked and combined them to form a tree pool surrounding the ancient trees, making the ancient tree platform a gathering place with local memories.

Some rocks are directly embedded in the site, and we don’t even know how deep they are buried. We did not dig out the rocks roughly, but re-adjusted the design according to the location of the rocks on the site, to find the line of sight and the movement line with these rocks. relationship, and bring them to the best of their ability.
