成都尚野园艺：前言 | Preface
这是HYLLA植物栽植的第四个年头，大家可能已经去过或者通过其他途径了解过这个项目，我们现在再次以植物为主题的形式来分享给大家，一个原因是我们想从一个新的角度来认识HYLLA，再一个是植物通过三年多的低维护生长，已经呈现出了一个相对稳定群落状态，有的植物可能已经消亡，有的植物已经长到更成熟的状态，这个过程中我们通过照片记录下了它们四季变化带来的不同美感，以此来分享给大家，希望大家能够喜欢。
SUN AIR GARDENING: This is the fourth year for HYLLA’s planting, you may have already been to the project or learned about it in other ways, we are now sharing it again in the theme of plant, one reason is that we want to rediscover HYLLA from a new perspective, another is that the plants have already shown a relatively stable community state in the condition of growing in low maintenance for more than three years, some may have died out and some have grown to a more mature state. During this process, we have documented the different aesthetics of their seasonal changes through photographs, which have been sharing with you, and hope you will enjoy them.

与山而来 | Coming with the mountains
HYLLA地处玉龙雪山脚下，山脉与白沙村庄的衔接带中间，具有丰富的生物多样性特征。连接了山与城，即从原始野性的山林过度到人类文明中，介于野性与人工之间，寻找连接自然的方式，植物是最好的与自然对话的语言，它来自与自然，并在现代社会以重组的方式回馈到人自然的感受。
HYLLA is located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, in the middle of the transition zone between the mountain range and Baisha villages, characterized by rich biodiversity. It connects the mountain and the city, from the primitive and wild mountains and forests to the human civilization, between the wild and the artificial, looking for a way to connect with the nature. The plants are the best language to talk with the nature, which comes from the nature and gives back to the human with natural feelings in the modern society in a restructured way.

色彩 | Color
我们背景中的山几乎都是松树等常绿的植物，一年四季不变的绿色屏障，所以在HYLLA的地块中我们希望能有一些色彩去丰富所在的环境，在我们种植的植物中大部分是变色或开花的。
The mountains in our background are almost all evergreen plants such as pine trees, a green barrier that remains unchanged throughout the year, so in the site of HYLLA we wanted to have some color to enrich the environment where it is located, and most of the plants we planted are either color changing or blooming.

气味 | Smell
除了颜色，植物带给人直观的还有气味，在HYLLA我们种植了许多香草植物，例如迷迭香、罗马薄荷、猫薄荷、洋甘菊等，这些都是可以制作精油的植物，能使人精神放松或平静。其他像我们保留的原生的杉树在夏季树干也是会分泌透明的脂溶性液体，也是带有宁神静心的气味。通过植物的营造可以调节紧张的心理状态，降低肌肉紧张和皮电反应，使得皮质醇，而皮质醇是构成紧张压力情绪的重要荷尔蒙。
In addition to color, plants bring intuitive smells. At HYLLA we grow many herbs such as rosemary, Roman mint, catnip, chamomile, etc., all of which can be used to make essential oils that are relaxing or calming to the mind. Others like the native cedars that we keep are also known to secrete a clear, fat-soluble liquid from their trunks during the summer months, which also carries a calming odor. The creation of plants can regulate a tense mental state, reduce muscle tension and the galvanic skin response that makes cortisol, which is an important hormone that makes up the nervous stressful emotions.

质感 | Texture
同时我们的建筑都是石头的，这是纳西村落传统的方式，当地人砌筑石头的工艺也是既朴拙又自然，但石头在质感和力量感上是非常硬的，它更象征着男性力量，而如果要让人近距离感受到舒适，则需要平衡感，即柔和的类似女性力量的东西进行平衡，所以景观的表达上一直在用植物进行柔化，而且整个植物的选择是比较浪漫、柔和的品种，都是意在寻找整个空间感受的平衡。
At the same time, our buildings are all made of stone, which is the traditional way of Naxi villages, and the local craftsmanship in masonry is both simple and natural, the stone is very hard in terms of texture and sense of power, which is more symbolic of the male power, and if it is to be comfortable for people to feel in close proximity, then it needs a sense of balance, that is, a soft and similar to the female power to balance it out, so the expression of the landscape has been softened by the use of plants, and the whole choice of plant varieties is more romantic and soft, are intended to find the balance of the entire space feeling.

自然 | Nature
通过对原生环境反复的观察，我们发现山林里道路边几乎都是绿色、米白、白色、浅粉、淡黄的植株或花朵颜色，而且花都比较小。在hylla尊重在地性、与自然连接是重要的课题，在色彩的选择的考虑上没有大量抢眼的颜色，都是接近原生环境就存在的颜色，如何接近自然便如何应用。
Through repeated observation of the native environment, we found that almost all of the plants and flowers along the roadside in the mountain forest are green, beige, white, light pink, light yellow, and the flowers are small. Respecting the site-specific characteristic and connecting with the nature is an important issue in HYLLA, there are not a lot of eye-catching colors in the selection, they are all close to the original colors where they live. 在地 | Locality
纳西族认为白色、红色、黑色是高贵的颜色，所以我们大部分的开花植物都是选择开白色花的，部分粉色、紫色、红色的，少量黄色的，入口长段的矮蒲苇搭配长柔狼尾草，从秋季到冬季白色的抽穗在太阳的照射下让人感觉到纯白色彩的带入。在通往玉龙雪山的路上道旁可以看到大量的非常荒野感的草，特别是冬季，黄色的干草和雪山、蓝天的对比极为强烈，这种荒野感也是在地性中重要的表达，所以我们选择了大量不同品种的观赏草作为这样的基底。
The Naxi people believe that white, red and black are noble colors, so most of our flowering plants are white, some pink, purple, red, and a small amount of yellow. The entrance of pampas grass with pennisetum, from autumn to winter, white spikes under the sunshine to make people feel the purity of color. In the road to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, you can see a large number of very wilderness sense of grass at the roadside, especially in winter, yellow hay and snowy mountains, blue sky, the contrast is extremely strong, this sense of wilderness is also an important expression for site-specific characteristic, so we chose a large number of different varieties of ornamental grasses as a base.

同时我们运用在相似气候条件，但不同地域的植物，用新的方式进行组合，让人来到这里不仅仅感受到传统的丽江的气息，也在传统与创新之间试图找到新的平衡。让当地村民重新认识到他们所处环境的美，纳西人大多有院落，同时他们对于美非常敏感，非常欣慰的是在HYLLA工作的很多当地的大哥大姐了解到这些新的植物后也希望将他们运用到自家庭院。
The plants that we used in similar climatic conditions but in different regions are combined in a new way, so that people come here not only to feel the traditional atmosphere of Lijiang, but also to try to find a new balance between tradition and innovation. The local villagers can realize the beauty of their environment again. Most of the civilian buildings in Naxi have courtyards, and Naxi are very sensitive to beauty, it is very gratifying to see that many of the natives who work in HYLLA have learned about these new plants and then want to use them in their own courtyards.

生命的变化 | Changes in life
在我们的景观中一直在强调三个重要的关系：与自然的关系、与时间的关系，与自己的关系。来到HYLLA我们希望带给旅人们的场是忘记时间的，这是一种无我的度假状态，同时又希望在这个场域中感知到时间，在古代没有时钟、没有手机的年代，人们看四季和一天的变化都是通过观察自然，所以在这里我们通过看到叶子变红了知道入秋了，喷雪花开了知道春分了，大量的花开了树叶翠绿就进入了盛夏等等，通过植物的变化可以让人们把注意力回归到生活和自然本身。
In our landscape we have been emphasizing three vital relations: the relationship with nature, with time, and with oneself. In HYLLA, we hope to bring travelers a field that can forget time, a kind of selfless vacation state, but we hope to perceive time in this field as well. In the ancient times when there were no clocks and cell phones, people’s perceptions of the seasons and the changes in a day are made by observing natural, so in this place, we know that it’s the beginning of the autumn by seeing the leaves turning red, and spiraea thunbergii bloom to signify the spring equinox, the summer is in full swing by the large amount of flowers and green leaves, and so on. The changes in plants can bring people’s attention back to life and nature itself.

永恒的信仰 | Eternal faith
与雪山遥相呼应的土地上，纳西人建立村庄需要首先找到一棵神树与立石，“许拍”因四季常青而被认为充满永恒的生命力，就像人类生命中心稳固性，在自然的场域中通过感受植物的色彩、气味、质感、生命的变化去重新找到自我的关系。
In the land that echoes with the snowy mountains, the Naxi people need to find a sacred tree and a standing stone to establish their villages, and “Hsu Pai” is considered to be full of eternal vitality due to its evergreen nature, just like the solidity of the center of human life, which is to rediscover one’s self through feeling the color, smell, texture, and changes in life of the plants in the natural field.
