蓝调国际：大连的地域性是什么？是山海······
每一片土地都有自己的性格。何镜堂先生以“地域性”为一切设计的起点，追问建筑与土地的关联。他曾指出，中国建筑界虽有过“三山一水一分田”的地域表述，但从未形成统一的定义——因为地域性无法被定义，只能被解读。每一座城市、每一处场地，都需要被重新阅读、重新翻译。溪湖瑧悦要阅读的，是山海。山与海，是这处场地最根本的地理现实，是一切空间叙事的先决条件，是每一笔设计落笔之前必须回应的第一句话。没有山海，就没有这480米顺应等高线展开的台地轴线；没有山海，就没有背山面水的归家格局；没有山海，“西学东境·海派东方”便失去了扎根的土壤。所以，山海不是卖点，不是修辞，不是围墙外的风景。山海是基地，是前提，是设计的唯一出发点。一切从山海开始，一切回到山海完成。
这正是何镜堂“两观三性”理论在溪湖瑧悦的景观应答——以地域性为根基，以文化性为内涵，以时代性为方向，让设计回到土地，让生活扎根山海，让每一次归家，都是对这座城市的一次深度阅读。
BLUES: Every piece of land has its own character. Mr. He Jingtang takes “regionality” as the starting point of all design, questioning the connection between architecture and the land. He once observed that while China’s architectural circles have occasionally used the phrase “three mountains, one water, and one field” to describe regionality, no unified definition has ever been formed—because regionality cannot be defined; it can only be interpreted. Every city, every site, must be re-read and re-translated.
For Xihu Zhenyue, what must be read is the mountain and the sea. The mountain and the sea are the most fundamental geographical reality of this site—they are the precondition of all spatial narratives, the first sentence to be answered before any design stroke is drawn. Without the mountain and sea, there would be no 480-meter terraced axis following the contours; without them, there would be no homecoming pattern of backing onto the hills and facing the water; without them, “Western learning, Eastern context · Shanghai-style Oriental” would lose its fertile ground. Thus, the mountain and sea are not a selling point, not a rhetorical flourish, not a view beyond the fence. They are the foundation, the prerequisite, the sole point of departure for design.
Everything begins with the mountain and sea, and everything returns to them for completion.
This is precisely how He Jingtang’s “Two Concepts and Three Natures” theory finds its landscape response at Xihu Zhenyue—rooted in regionality as the foundation, imbued with culturality as the essence, and oriented towards contemporaneity as the direction. Let design return to the land, let life take root in the mountain and sea, and let every homecoming become adeep reading of this city.

How does the landscape language resonate with the sea rhythm? The spiral curves are taken from the “Dragon Palace Pleurotomaria” shell at the Dalian Shell Museum, and the wave patterns are derived from the layered ocean waves.

How does the spatial layout respond to the mountain terrain? The terraced central axis unfolds along the contour lines, with each level serving as a viewing platform for the mountain.

The spiral curve of the conch faintly emerges among the paving textures, like an ancient echo from deep within the earth—quietly captured by the craftsman’s hand and frozen into the path beneath your feet.
不强加于人的威压，而是不经意间，就让你挺直了脊背，放轻了脚步。
Not an imposing pressure forced upon you, but something that, without your noticing, makes you straighten your back and lighten your steps.
站在那光里，忽然觉得时间可以这样慢——慢到能看清穹顶每一道弧线里藏着的城市记忆，慢到能听见汉代几何纹砖在脚下的千年回响。

水面上荡漾的层层波光，入画时化作了一片游走的金粉，疏疏朗朗地散落在庭院的各个角落。
The layers of shimmering light dancing on the water, when rendered into the painting, transformed into drifting gold dust, scattered sparsely and gracefully across every corner of the courtyard.
午后斜光漫过来，在水波的折射下荡漾着、呼吸着、像一整片被收进庭院里的海，正在光里慢慢地翻身。
The afternoon slanting light drifted over, and refracted by the ripples, it shimmered and breathed—like a whole sea that had been gathered into the courtyard, slowly turning over in the glow.
栖心
院落，便是与自我的重逢，是画卷看到一半时，忽然在某一处留白里，看见了自己的倒影。
Gathering Momentum
The courtyard is a reunion with oneself—like looking at a painting scroll halfway through, when suddenly, in some blank space, you catch sight of your own reflection.
阳光不由分说地灌满每一个角落，它懂得收敛，懂得留白，懂得在亮与暗之间留下足够的过渡。
Sunlight floods all without reserve—yet it knows reserve, knows emptiness, knows the space between light and shadow.
不争不抢，安静地绿着，在每一阵风经过的时候，替整座庭院发出最柔和的、最接近心跳的声音。
They neither compete nor contend, but stay quietly green. With every passing breeze, they speak for the entire courtyard—in the softest voice, the one most like a heartbeat.
