里表都会：项目位于河南省郑州市金水区，中原大地，院落文化是人们对空间秩序的经典表达，这种对围合与通透、私密与开放的平衡追求，是人与自然间共生的时间沉淀。

UMS: The Project is located in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Across the Central Plains, the courtyard culture stands as a quintessential expression of spatial order. This pursuit of balance between enclosure and accessibility, privacy and openness, is the result of time-honored sedimentation in the symbiosis between man and nature.

为了让设计不拘泥于传统院落形式，在设计过程中，我们借鉴了斯里兰卡建筑大师 Geoffrey Bawa 的建筑空间与设计理念。他善于运用简洁的框架，将自然景观巧妙地纳入建筑空间，让建筑仿佛从自然中生长而出；他注重建筑结构给人带来的体验，每一处线条、每一个转角，都经过精心设计，引导着人们的视线和脚步，让人们在与建筑的互动中，感受到空间的魅力。

To make the design transcend traditional courtyard forms, we have drawn inspiration from the architectural space and design philosophy of the Sri Lankan architectural master – Geoffrey Bawa – throughout the design process. He excels at employing a concise framework to subtly integrate natural landscape into architectural space, making buildings appear as if they’ve grown organically from nature. He emphasizes the experience conveyed by architectural structures, meticulously designing each and every line and corner to guide the sight and footsteps of people, thus allowing them to experience the allure of space through their interaction with buildings.

入口序章：材质与光影的叙事

Prologue at Entrance: A Narrative of Materials and Light

项目主入口通过材质与光影的关系构建起独特的场所精神。以沉稳的石材柱廊框架形成空间围合体系，同时引入透光奢石材质消解实体界面的厚重感，达成虚实相生的视觉效果。在夜间，暖黄色光线经由云石孔隙漫射而出，这种照明方式暗合中原传统民居门灯的意象表达，既满足功能性需求，又赋予归家路径情感化的空间体验；日间自然光通过奢石介质产生漫反射与投影效应，在地面形成具有东方美学意蕴的光影构图，实现传统建筑符号的当代转译。

The main entrance of the Project establishes a distinctive sense of GENIUS LOCI through the interplay of materials and light. A spatial enclosure system is formed with a steady stone colonnade framework. Moreover, translucent luxury stone materials are introduced to counteract the heaviness of solid surfaces, achieving a visual effect combining nihility and reality. At night, warm yellow light diffuses through the pores of marble, evoking the imagery of traditional door lamps in folk dwellings of the Central Plains, which fulfills functional needs while imbuing the homecoming path with an emotional spatial experience. However in the daytime, natural light undergoes diffuse reflection and projection effects through luxury stone media, creating a play of light and shadow on the ground that embodies Eastern aesthetic sensibilities. This achieves a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional architectural symbols.

框架即景：结构与自然的对话

Framework Sketch: A Dialogue between Structure and Nature

步入社区内部，以柱廊形成第一道空间过渡，这些柱列延续了正交网格逻辑，同时通过柱径的渐变处理，让结构本身成为空间叙事的一部分。当晨光穿过柱间空隙，地面上投下的光影与水中的反射天光形成奇妙叠合，站在入口处，目光穿过柱廊，能看到柱影在地面缓缓移动，仿佛在与远处的天空进行一场无声的交流，每一根柱子都延由水面向大地延伸，将建筑与自然紧紧相连，让结构成为风景。

Upon stepping into the community, the colonnade forms the first spatial transition. These columns continue the orthogrid logic while gradually varying in diameter to make the structure itself become part of the spatial narrative. As the morning light filters through the gaps between columns, the shadows cast upon the ground blend with the skylight reflection in the water, creating a wondrous interplay. Standing at the entrance, people can see the shadows of these columns moving slowly on the ground when setting their sights on the colonnade, as if engaged in a silent dialogue with the sky in the distance. Each column extends from the water surface to the earth, tightly connecting the buildings with nature and transforming the structures into a landscape.

社区核心的会客厅，轻盈的钢结构玻璃盒子漂浮于舒朗的水面之上，刻意处理的结构柱强化了其存在感，强化了其作为空间界定者的微妙角色。站在会客厅中央，透过框架望向庭院，远处的叠水、中景的树木与近景的涌泉自然构成一幅动态画卷。构筑简化到只剩框架，而后化身为巨大取景器。阳光透过玻璃洒进会客厅，在地面上形成斑驳的光影，与庭院中的水光相互映照，让人恍惚间分不清身处室内还是室外。微风拂过，庭院里的树叶沙沙作响，叠水的潺潺声也清晰可闻，整个空间都充满了自然的气息。

In the lounge at the center of the community, a light steel-framed glass box floats above the tranquil water surface. The deliberately crafted structural columns highlight their presence, enhancing their subtle role as a spatial definer. When standing in the center of the lounge, people can look through the frame into the courtyard. Now, the cascading water in the distance, the trees in the middle ground and the surging fountain in the foreground naturally constitute a dynamic picture. The structures are simplified to their bare framework, and then transformed into a giant viewfinder. Sunlight streams through the glass into the lounge and cast dappled light and shadow on the ground, which interplay with the water glow in the courtyard, making people momentarily unsure whether they are indoors or outdoors. A gentle breeze rustles through the leaves in the courtyard, and the gurgling cascading water could also be heard, filling the entire space with the breath of nature.

无界空间：去中心化的沉浸体验

Boundless Space: A Decentralized Immersive Experience

“去中心化”的空间体验，为项目的布局提供了重要启示。项目的主要轴线虽串联起多个空间节点，却在中途通过水景等元素消解了刻板的方向性，让游人的视线自然分散到周边景致中。这种处理打破了对 “中心” 的固有认知，使空间更具呼吸感。

The “decentralized” spatial experience offers significant insights for the project layout. Although in the Project, the principal axis connects multiple spatial nodes, it dissolves rigid directionality midway through elements like water features, etc., allowing visitors to naturally set their sight on the surrounding scenery. This approach breaks away from conventional notions of a “center”, creating a more open and airy spatial experience.

将周边视觉融入步行体验中，这里的树木并非对称种植，而是依据人在行走时的视觉角度自然分布。树下的休憩区被低矮的围栏轻轻界定，既保持了空间的开放性，又形成了含蓄的领域感，通过柱列创造 “景框感”。

The peripheral vision is incorporated into the walking experience. The trees here are not planted symmetrically but distributed naturally according to people’s visual angles experienced while walking. The rest area under the trees is gently demarcated by a low fence, which preserves spatial openness while subtly defining a sense of enclosure, thus creating a “picture-frame effect” with columns.

水院区域，建筑的玻璃幕墙成为 “隐形画框”，将叠水、绿植、树木纳入其中。涌泉阵列如灵动音符，跃动的水花与建筑内的光影互动，室内外因这方水院模糊了边界。当人在此处停留，近处的设施、中景的卡座、远处的雕塑在视野中自然铺展，让人沉浸在环绕式的空间体验中。

In the water courtyard area, the glass curtain walls of the buildings serve as an “invisible picture frame”, including cascading water features, greenery and trees into it. The fountain array dances like spirited musical notes, where leaping water droplets interact with the light and shadow in the buildings. The boundaries between indoors and outdoors get blurred within this water courtyard. When people linger here, the nearby amenities, the booths in the middle ground and the sculptures in the distance unfold naturally within the field of vision, immersing them in an embracing spatial experience.

温度结构：自成风景的结构要素

Thermal Structure: Structural Elements That Stand Alone as Scenery

巴瓦曾说 “结构不必隐藏，它们本身就是美的载体”，这一理念在项目的结构细节中化作具象，结构柱是受压构件，可以是粗糙的，也可以是细腻的。材质结合体块的变化，削弱柱体体量，强化骨干；同时光源也暗藏与体块变化中，强化细节对设计感的传递。

Bawa once said, “There’s no need to conceal structures; they themselves are vessels of beauty”. This philosophy finds tangible expression in the structural details of the Project. Structural columns, as compression members, can be either rough or refined. Variations in materials and blocks reduces the mass of columns while emphasizing their structural framework. Simultaneously, light sources are subtly integrated into block variations, enhancing how the details convey a sense of design.

生长框架：植物与建筑的共生

Growing Framework: Symbiosis of Plants and Buildings

项目中的植物，不再是装饰配角，而是与建筑共生的 “生长框架”。多样的植物构成的体系，并非简单的装饰，而是如同框架结构般，承担着界定空间、引导视线的功能。诠释着自然与建筑共生长的美学，错落的树池与建筑柱廊相融共生。造型独特的树木被巧妙植入树池，树干的曲折形态与柱廊的直线条形成对比，却又和谐统一。当暮色笼罩，建筑轮廓与自然景致在灯光映衬下交融，树影婆娑，水光潋滟，建筑不再是孤立的存在，而是自然生长框架中的一部分，与花草树木、叠水涌泉共同绘就一幅永不褪色的生活长卷，让每一位居者，都能在这共生的空间里，触摸到自然的温度，感知到建筑的诗意，沉醉于土地与设计共鸣的美好情境。

Plants in this Project are no longer mere decorative accents, but rather a “growing framework” that coexists with the buildings. A system composed of diverse plants is not merely decorative; rather, it functions like a structural framework, defining spaces and guiding sights. It interprets the aesthetics in the symbiosis of nature and buildings, with staggered tree pools blending seamlessly with the colonnades in buildings. Uniquely shaped trees are artfully planted in tree pools, with their twisted trunks contrasting with the straight lines of the colonnade while achieving a harmonious unity. As dusk descends, the silhouettes of buildings blend with the natural landscape under the glow of lights. Trees cast dappled shadows and water shimmers with a gentle glow. Now buildings are no longer an isolated entity, but rather an integral part of the naturally growing framework. Together with flowers, plants, trees, cascading waterfalls and bubbling springs, it weaves an everlasting tapestry of life, enabling every resident to touch the warmth of nature, sense the poetry of architecture, and become immersed in the beautiful harmony between land and design within this symbiotic space.
