深建筑事务所：在乡村振兴战略的背景下，本项目以“隐逸太行·院纳天地”为核心理念，立足于林州石板岩镇太行大峡谷的壮美自然景观之中。设计秉承“人与自然和谐共生”的绿色发展观，通过对传统聚落空间的现代表达，将地域文化传承与当代旅居体验相融合，在杂乱村落环境中营造一方净土，让建筑成为连接人与自然、传统与现代的媒介。

Atelier Shen: Against the backdrop of the rural revitalization strategy, this project, guided by the core concept of “Seclusion in Taihang, Courtyard Embracing Heaven and Earth,” is situated within the majestic natural landscape of the Taihang Grand Canyon in Linzhou Shibanyan Town. The design adheres to the green development philosophy of “harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.” Through a modern interpretation of traditional settlement spaces, it integrates regional cultural heritage with contemporary travel and living experiences, creating a tranquil sanctuary amidst the disordered village environment. Thus, the architecture becomes a medium connecting humans and nature, tradition and modernity.

基地坐落于被誉为“八百里太行之魂”的太行大峡谷核心区，周边群山环抱、景色壮丽，每年旅游旺季游人如织。然而场地周边环境杂乱，北临镇学校主入口，东接操场，西望四层写生公寓，南与邻舍仅一巷之隔。面对此般语境，设计采取“外闭内开”的策略——不求外显于村落肌理，转而向内构筑宁静庭院，向上延展观景视野，实现从混沌现实到诗意栖居的空间转换。

The site is located in the core area of the Taihang Grand Canyon, renowned as the “Soul of the Eight Hundred Li Taihang Mountains,” surrounded by towering peaks and breathtaking scenery, attracting countless tourists during the peak season each year. However, the immediate surroundings are cluttered: to the north lies the main entrance of the town school, to the east is a playground, to the west stands a four-story sketching apartment, and to the south, it is separated from neighboring houses by only a narrow alley. Confronted with this context, the design adopts an “externally closed, internally open” strategy—eschewing prominence within the village fabric and instead turning inward to construct a serene courtyard, while extending upward to open up panoramic views, achieving a spatial transformation from chaotic reality to poetic dwelling.

建筑以围合式院落布局回应场地约束，形成不受外界干扰的内向性空间秩序。东侧临路区域设置公共功能区，西侧环绕庭院布置客房区，形成明确的动静分区。三层及屋顶层面匠心独运地设置了多个观景平台与休闲区，在错落的坡屋顶之间创造丰富的空间体验。体块堆叠的组合手法，配以与远山走势相呼应的双向坡屋顶，塑造出层次分明的建筑形态。

The building responds to site constraints with an enclosed courtyard layout, forming an inward-focused spatial order free from external disturbances. Public functional areas are placed on the eastern side adjacent to the road, while guest rooms are arranged around the courtyard on the western side, creating a clear division between dynamic and static zones. On the third floor and rooftop levels, multiple viewing platforms and leisure areas are ingeniously designed, creating rich spatial experiences amidst the staggered pitched roofs. The composition of stacked volumes, complemented by dual-pitched roofs that echo the distant mountain ridges, shapes a distinctly layered architectural form.

遵循当地规定，外墙与部分屋面采用本土石板材，但创新性地将石板切割成条形，仿照传统屋面叠压工艺进行重构，形成独特的横向肌理与细腻质感。这种创新传承既尊重了地域材料特性，又通过现代构造手法赋予其新的表现力，与建筑大面积的白色体块形成强烈对比，在传统与现代之间建立对话。

In compliance with local regulations, local slate is used for the exterior walls and parts of the roof. However, the slate is innovatively cut into strips and reconstructed, imitating the traditional overlapping roof technique, to form a unique horizontal texture and delicate quality. This innovative approach to heritage respects the characteristics of regional materials while endowing them with new expressiveness through modern construction techniques, establishing a dialogue between tradition and modernity through strong contrasts with the building’s large white volumes.

室内空间选用仿灰泥艺术涂料营造质朴基底，搭配温润的木制家具与门窗系统，局部点缀绿色大理石，共同构筑清新自然的氛围。这种材料组合既体现了绿色建筑理念，又通过细腻的材质对比营造出宁静放松的居所环境，让旅客在山水之间获得身心安顿。

Indoor spaces employ art plaster coatings to create a rustic base, complemented by warm wooden furniture and window-door systems, with local accents of green marble, collectively constructing a fresh and natural atmosphere. This material combination reflects the concept of green building while creating a tranquil and relaxing living environment through subtle material contrasts, allowing guests to find physical and mental repose amidst the mountains and waters.

本项目不仅是满足基本功能的民宿建筑，更是通过空间形式与建造技艺的精心雕琢，实现了传统文化当代转译、建筑与自然对话、地域特色创新表达的多重目标。在乡村振兴的时代背景下，为传统村落更新提供了可借鉴的设计范式，展现了建筑在协调人、自然、文化关系中的独特价值。

This project is not merely a functional homestay building; through meticulous crafting of spatial forms and construction techniques, it achieves multiple objectives: the contemporary translation of traditional culture, dialogue between architecture and nature, and innovative expression of regional characteristics. In the context of the era of rural revitalization, it provides a replicable design paradigm for the renewal of traditional villages, demonstrating the unique value of architecture in harmonizing the relationships between humans, nature, and culture.
