星球建筑:受深圳光影艺术季组委会的邀请,MARS在福田区市民广场设计了一组灯光艺术装置——“屿”。设计由四块高低错落、上下起伏的弧形钢构组成,呈现出独具特色的螺旋半围合形态。如同琴弦般上下相连的纤维绳编织成细密而朦胧的展示面,在光影的映衬下,形成了一座微型的“城市岛屿”。
MARS Studio: At the invitation of 2023 Glow Shenzhen Organizing Committee, MARS Studio designed a set of light art installations in Futian District Citizen Square. The design is composed of four curved steel structures with staggered heights and ups and downs, showing a unique spiral semi-enclosed shape. The strings are woven into a thin and hazy display surface, forming a miniature “urban island” against the backdrop of light and shadow.

在光与线构成的回旋场域里,“屿”试图探索人与人之间的距离。仿佛升腾的薄雾般环形空间布局,将观者环绕其中,与光线形成柔和的共振。每个螺旋形构件都象征着一个独特的个体,它们在持续的回旋和交叠中促使人与人之间的相遇和交流。
In the cyclonic field of light and lines, the installation tries to explore the distance between people. The circular spatial layout, like a rising mist, surrounds the viewer and resonates softly with the light. Each spiral component symbolizes a unique individual, and in their continuous circling and overlapping, they prompt encounters and exchanges between people.

▽夜色下装置像一座朦胧岛屿 The Installation Resembles a Hazy Island at Night
来者在其间可行、可立、可观,体验到不同颜色和光影的变化。在光与影的交错中,邂逅了一场时光与色彩的重奏。丝线交织的空间里,观者能够观察到自己和他人在同一维度和不同时空下交错的影像。
Visitors can walk, stand, and watch in its midst, experiencing the changes of different colors and shades of light. In the interplay of light and shadow, a repertoire of time and color is encountered. In the space interwoven with silk threads, the viewer is able to observe the intertwined images of himself and others in the same dimension and in different time and space.

“屿”的设计灵感来自于人与人之间的邂逅和交流,我们鼓励来访者思考与陌生人邂逅的意义,以及在这个快节奏的都市生活中如何去与他人建立联系和交流。通过与装置的互动,唤起人们对于人际关系和社会交往的思考。
The design of this installation is inspired by the encounter and communication between people, and we encourage visitors to think about the meaning of meeting strangers and how to connect and communicate with others in this fast-paced urban life. Through the interaction with the installation, people are aroused to think about interpersonal relations and social communication.

▽犹如缤纷的绚丽画卷 The Installation is Like a Colourful Painting
装置本身蕴含着三种层次的交互和关联:首先是人与装置之间的探索互动,其次是人与人之间情境互动,最后是装置与城市的微妙互动。
The device itself contains three levels of interaction and correlation: the first is the tacit interaction between people and the device, the second is the situational interaction between people, and the last is the subtle interaction between the device and the city.
▽开放性的入口 Open Entrance
光,是空间的雕塑家。光的存在,勾勒出空间的轮廓,也赋予了空间的精神性。隐秘的幽谷中,微光穿梭流转,犹如缤纷的绚丽画卷。行至深处,人与光的交融成为一种互动与联系。我们将观者置于空间的主导地位,使他们沉浸在由色彩和光线的反射改变视觉认知的场域中,创造出一个幻象交叠、与光同行的朦胧岛屿。
Light is the sculptor of space. The existence of light Outlines the outline of the space, but also gives the space spirituality. In the hidden valley, the dim light shuttles and circulates like a colorful picture. Going deep, the integration of man and light becomes an interaction and connection. We place the viewer in the dominant position of the space, immersing them in a field where the visual perception is altered by the reflections of color and light, creating a hazy island of overlapping illusions and walking with the light.
