澳大利亚IAPA设计顾问有限公司：对于拥有漫长城市发展历史的西安来说，传统的里、巷、坊的街区实态形成西安城的空间形态结构。而随着城市化发展进程的不断推进，原有的城市脉络和与时俱进的创新意识，给这座古老的城市注入了更多的生机与活力，吸引越来越的游客前临领略西安社会民俗的丰富内涵和时代记忆。
IAPA Pty. Ltd.: For Xi’an, which has a long history development, the traditional block design of “Li”, “Lane”, “Fang”, forming the spatial structure of Xi’an city. With the development of urbanization, the origin urban context and innovation consciousness, attract more and more tourists to enjoy the cultural connotation and historical memories of Xi’ an and bring more vitality and energy to this ancient city.
太白无山居，临近古城西安，地处秦岭主峰太白山下，是集度假酒店、生活休闲、文化艺术展示的综合性项目。我们在研究着如何平衡外来游客与本土居民的精神边界，同时激发本土大众的市民精神。
The Taibai Wushanju is close to the ancient city of Xi’an and is located at the foot of Taibai Mountain, which is the main peak of the Qinling. It is a complex that consist of resort hotels, open spaces for leisure and cultural exhibitions. We are working on how to balance the boundary of spirit between tourists and local residents，as the same time inspire the civic spirit of local people.

设计秉承了“里、坊、巷、市”的中国传统城市布局形制，结合竖向迭合的手法将57间精品酒店客房、书吧、茶室、艺术中心以及无边际泳池等多元化的功能空间整合在建筑院落的不同区间中；通过拆解里坊制最初形态中以水平展开面所呈现的棋盘式方格，重组横向和竖向几何空间的互相咬合关系；从不同标高、视角响应人眼高度的直接对话关系；这是项目在延续历史规划思想、融合当代建筑理念后，呈现在建筑中不断发生的人与空间、人与人之间多次相遇的真实本质；一对一地对话成为空间场景的参与者，而不是中立的看客，即建筑不是个体，它是光、影、人活动轨迹的综合产物。
The design adheres to the traditional Chinese urban layout of “li, square, alley, city”, combined with a vertical stacking technique. These techniques stack and integrate the 57 boutique hotel rooms, book bars, tea rooms, art centre, and infinity swimming pools into sections of the courtyard. Using a primary checkerboard-like grid, we redefine the relationship between vertical and horizontal. The design reflects the continuity of the traditional urban planning idea with modern architectural design language. The story is not about a simple building, but a story about the interaction between the building, the people, the natural elements, the light, the shadow and reflection.

中轴对称的格局、方正的皇城轮廓、棋盘式道路脉络，古代西安的空间结构相互牵引与制约。以直径36米的圆形太白庭为主导，串联整体建筑回廊及庭院空间，从其选址的思考到空间的构思再到营建的过程，隐性的文化属性贯穿其中。
Based on the spatial structure of ancient Xi’an, axial symmetry, chessboard road pattern. The design introduced a 36 diameter circular Taibai Court which acts as the main body that connects the building, corridor and the courtyard. The minimalist aspects of oriental art recessive cultural attitude run through from the site selection, the space concept to building process.

建筑环境贴近民风，如像置身画卷，水光之间，静态与动态的律动，衍生出景、光、人、影的和谐意味。每一个空间都置入各有特色的庭园景致，各个局部之间形成自己完整的生态，又保持互相若有若无的牵连，丰富整个太白无山居的环境。
The building environment is close to the folk custom, it’s seems like living in a picture, the light, the water, and the rhythm of static and dynamic, derived from the meaning of harmonious. Each space has different courtyard, they are variously but related, fulfilled the whole landscape environment of Taibai Wushanju.

自然山水一直都是最佳的生活场景，在建筑空间构思时，便为室内创造自然框景，将远处的太白山脉景观收纳入建筑内部；开敞空间和框景空间给观赏太白山脉的风卷云舒提供了多维度、多层次的可能性。
Natural mountain and water gardens always leading a wellness lifestyle. We creative a nature frame for interior, when the architecture space designed. And the framed open space of the Taibai Court provides a perfect place for scenic lookouts to enjoy the mountain view and serenity from a distance.

在空间的设计中贯穿着生活哲学，是为了给人们提供恬静舒适的生活环境，用最纯粹的营造方式给予空间参与者最真诚的回馈。 太白无山居酒店的运营正是一种度假生活方式的体现，设计希望把空间做得更加纯粹，更大程度地让轻松的生活方式在空间中无限绽放！
The operation of Wushanju Hotel is a manifestation of resort lifestyle, it also has been our design philosophy throughout the design process. We seek to provide a space and facilities that can accommodate all types of activities that the Taibai Mountain has to offer. Whether it is a comfortable yet stylish holiday experience, an adventurous mountain getaway, or a dive into the local cultural, Wushanju has been transformed into a stylish art based resort which open to the public.
