HdA汉都灯光设计：白天的建筑塑造空间，夜晚的灯光则定义人们感知空间的方式。灯光设计不仅是照亮建筑与路径，更是在光与暗之间营造情绪、引导停留，并重新建立人与环境之间的联系。

位于广州北部九龙湖山水生态区的阿那亚，延续了品牌对于自然、社区与精神生活的持续探索。在湖泊、山林与岭南湿润气候共同构成的场所中，夜晚并非被灯光彻底点亮，而是被温柔地唤醒。HdA汉都灯光设计希望以克制而细腻的光环境回应场地气质，让建筑、景观与自然夜色彼此交融，呈现一种更具松弛感与诗意的岭南夜景。

Handu Associates: Architecture shapes space by day, while light defines how we perceive it at night. Beyond illumination, lighting is more about setting the mood, inviting moments of pause, and reconnecting people with the environment.

Amid the mountain and water landscapes of Jiulong Lake Resort in northern Guangzhou, Aranya continues its exploration of nature, community, and cultural and spiritual life. In this setting, where lakes, forested hills, and Lingnan’s humid climate converge, the night is not aggressively illuminated but gently awakened. HdA responds to the site’s character with restraint and sensitivity, creating a nightscape that feels relaxed, poetic, and quietly alive—where architecture, landscape, and nature gently intertwine.

PART.01 岭南山水的宁静诗意

阿那亚源于梵语“阿兰若”，意为“寂静处”。它不仅是一种居住方式，更倡导人与自然、社区及自我之间更真实的连接。延续这一理念，广州九龙湖阿那亚落址于广州北部九龙湖山水生态区，在湖泊、山体、树林与岭南湿润气候共同塑造的自然环境中，关注自然、艺术与日常生活之间的关系，并通过建筑、景观与公共空间共同构建出缓慢而松弛的生活场景，让人与环境产生持续而细腻的互动。

与此同时，岭南地区长期湿热、多雨，骑楼、连廊、檐下及丰富的灰空间塑造了独特的在地生活传统。人们习惯于在半室外空间中停留、交流与漫步，这种开放而松弛的生活方式也成为项目夜间空间营造的重要线索。

The Quiet Poetry of Lingnan Landscape

“Aranya” originates from the Sanskrit word meaning “a place of stillness.” More than a way of living, it reflects a belief in cultivating genuine connections—with nature, community, and oneself. At Jiulong Lake in northern Guangzhou, this philosophy takes form within a landscape shaped by water, wooded slopes, and humid climate, fostering a lifestyle destination where nature, art, and daily life seamlessly converge. Through architecture, landscape, and shared public spaces, it unfolds a slow, unhurried rhythm of life—where subtle interactions between people and the environment quietly take place.

Lingnan’s warm, humid, and rainy climate has shaped a distinctive spatial tradition of arcades, verandas, deep eaves, and generous semi-outdoor zones. These spatial typologies—where people linger, stroll, and gather—fostered a relaxed local lifestyle that informs the project’s nighttime experience.

基于九龙湖天然的山地湖区生态环境，HdA汉都灯光设计希望保留夜色本身的价值，在尊重自然暗部与生态界面的前提下，让灯光成为连接自然、建筑与人的媒介，使人们在湖风、树影与水光之间，重新感受岭南山水夜晚的宁静与诗意。

Grounded in this natural setting, HdA seeks to preserve the value of darkness itself. Respecting the ecological context and the depth of night, light becomes a quiet mediator between nature, architecture, and people—guiding visitors to rediscover the quiet poetry of Lingnan nights amid lake breezes, tree shadows, and water reflections.

PART.02 让光成为感知自然的媒介

在九龙湖阿那亚的灯光设计中，设计团队希望突破传统夜景照明以“观看”为主导的逻辑，将夜晚塑造为一种可以被进入、停留与感受的空间体验。

与强调视觉冲击力的商业夜景不同，项目更关注人在空间中的行为与情绪变化。设计希望人们能够在湖边驻足，在连桥间漫步，在教堂前安静停留，在灰空间中交流与休憩。因此，整体光环境有意识地降低平均亮度，放缓光影节奏，拉长明暗之间的过渡关系，通过丰富的层次变化营造更具漫游感与停留感的夜间氛围。

Light as a Medium for Perceiving Nature

The design team moves beyond a lighting approach focused on visual spectacle, reimagining the nightscape as a spatial experience to wander, pause, and feel.

Unlike conventional commercial lighting that prioritizes visual impact, this project focuses on human behavior and emotional transitions. The lighting invites lingering by the lake, strolling across bridges, quiet pauses before the chapel, and casual conversations within sheltered semi-outdoor spaces. Average brightness is intentionally lowered, the rhythms of light and shadow are slowed, and transitions are gently extended. Through nuanced variations of light and shadow, the design creates a nighttime ambience that encourages wandering and lingering.

基于这一理念，灯光并非以大面积投射的方式覆盖建筑，而是尽可能从建筑结构、景观界面与空间细节中自然生长出来。光源更多隐藏于连廊边缘、建筑内部、灰空间过渡区域以及景观节点之中，通过反射、渗透与局部聚焦的方式塑造空间层次。这种克制而内敛的表达，使建筑不再成为被照亮的对象，而更像是沉浸于自然中的聚落。光影与山水共同参与空间叙事，让夜晚呈现出一种缓慢展开的节奏与情绪。

Rather than washing façades with large-scale illumination, light emerges organically from architectural edges, landscape interfaces, and spatial details. Light sources are concealed within corridors, interior thresholds, and landscape nodes, articulating spatial depth through reflection, permeation, and subtle accents. This restrained approach allows architecture to feel less like a purely illuminated presence and more like a settlement immersed in nature. Lighting and landscape compose the nightscape together—unfolding in a quiet, unhurried rhythm.

PART.03 夜色下的漫游体验

整体灯光规划延续园区原有的空间组织结构，并进一步将其转化为一套完整的夜间漫游系统。设计并未采用连续高亮度的商业街区照明逻辑，而是通过点状聚焦、节奏化明暗关系以及层次丰富的景观界面，引导人们在空间中不断停留、转向与探索。光线随着建筑、广场、湖岸与步行路径的变化而变化，在功能引导与空间体验之间取得平衡。

Wandering Through the Nightscape

The overall lighting strategy translates the site’s spatial fabric into a coherent nighttime journey. Eschewing continuous high-intensity commercial streetscape lighting, the design introduces localized lighting accents, rhythmic contrasts of light and shadow, and layered landscape interfaces to guide movement—inviting pause, turning, and exploration. Light shifts in response to architecture, plazas, lake edges, and pathways, balancing functional guidance with spatial experience.

同时，项目建立了克制而清晰的亮度体系。不同空间根据功能属性与氛围需求形成由公共到私密、由活跃到安静的层级变化，使整个园区在夜晚呈现出自然有序的节奏感。色温方面，则以3000K至3500K暖色光为主，在保证功能照明的同时，营造温暖、舒适且低干扰的夜间环境，使建筑与自然之间形成更加柔和的关系。

At the same time, a restrained and clear lighting hierarchy is established, subtly shifting from open and active areas to more intimate, tranquil atmospheres, unfolding an orderly sense of rhythm across the site at night. A warm color temperature range of 3000K-3500K ensures functional lighting performance while fostering a soft, comfortable, and low-interference environment, gently harmonizing architecture with the natural setting.

最终，灯光不再只是空间的附属系统，而成为串联建筑、景观与人的重要线索，构建出具有连续性与沉浸感的夜间漫游体验。

Ultimately, lighting is no longer a supporting system of space, but an essential medium that weaves together architecture, landscape, and human experience into a continuous, immersive nighttime journey.

PART.04 光影塑造建筑的情绪与留白

教堂广场：从夜色中浮现的建筑

作为整个九龙湖阿那亚最具精神性的空间节点，教堂的灯光设计并未选择传统宗教建筑常见的高亮度泛光照明，而是让建筑重新回归夜色本身。

As the spiritual anchor of Aranya Jiulong Lake Resort, the chapel eschews high-brightness floodlighting typical of religious architecture, quietly settling into the night.

设计通过克制的垂直照明与隐藏式光源，让塔楼、拱券、墙体边缘以及结构转折处缓慢显现，使建筑呈现出若隐若现的状态。大量暗部与留白被有意识地保留下来，使光与黑暗形成共存关系。夜晚的教堂仿佛从湖面的雾气与山林的阴影中缓缓浮现，在潮湿空气与树影之间展现出更内敛而安静的气质。

在这里，光不再强调建筑形体本身，而是成为一种情绪媒介，让人们在光影变化中获得更具沉浸感的精神体验。

Through restrained vertical illumination and concealed light sources, the tower, arches, wall edges, and structural transitions are gently revealed, giving the architecture a subtle, ethereal presence. Ample areas of shadow are intentionally preserved, establishing a symbiotic balance between light and darkness. The chapel appears to gradually emerge from lake mist and forest silhouettes—quiet, restrained, and contemplative.

Here, light no longer accentuates architectural form, but becomes an emotional medium, immersing visitors in a contemplative journey amid the shifting interplay of light and shadow.

凭借优秀的灯光设计，广州中旅·阿亚那九龙湖度假区教堂一举斩获了2024 A+Awards 理念类-建筑+灯光专业评审奖，为文旅建筑中的灯光应用树立了典范。

The chapel won the 2024 A+Awards Jury Winner in the “Architecture + Light” category, setting a benchmark for lighting design in cultural tourism environments.

理想国酒店：隐于山水的生活界面

理想国酒店延续了岭南骑楼与半室外空间的设计逻辑，依托建筑既有室内灯光基础打造公区灯光环境，因此设计也并未强调酒店作为地标建筑的昭示性，而是希望其成为融入自然环境的一部分。

Author’s Room Hotel: A Living Interface Integrated into Nature

The Author’s Room Hotel draws on the spatial logic of Lingnan arcade architecture and semi-outdoor spaces. Building upon the existing interior lighting, the public area’s lighting strategy avoids asserting a landmark presence and instead integrates the architecture discreetly into its natural surroundings.

设计有意识地降低建筑整体存在感，通过立柱、连廊、庭院以及灰空间中的局部光源塑造空间层次。光线穿过植物、水汽与开放廊道，在建筑与景观之间形成柔和的过渡关系。

The design intentionally softens the architectural presence through localized lighting at columns, corridors, courtyards, and transitional spaces, shaping a subtle spatial depth. Light filters through vegetation, mist, and open arcades, softly mediating the boundary between architecture and landscape.

随着人们从公共区域逐渐进入客房与庭院空间，灯光亮度也随之递减，形成由开放到私密、由活跃到安静的情绪转换。整个酒店的夜间氛围更接近岭南传统“檐下生活”的延续，让人们在自然环境中获得松弛而舒适的居住体验。

As guests move from the public area toward guest rooms and courtyards, the lighting gradually dims, orchestrating a clear emotional transition from openness to intimacy, from activity to calm. The overall atmosphere echoes the Lingnan tradition of “living under the eaves”, offering a relaxed and comfortable experience immersed in nature.

美术馆：艺术与日常的自然融合

在阿那亚的语境中，艺术并非被孤立展示的对象，而是一种融入公共生活的日常体验。因此，美术馆的灯光设计同样强调人与艺术、自然之间的连续关系。

Aranya Art Center: Where Art Meets Everyday Life
At Aranya, art is not isolated—it is woven into everyday public life. The art center’s lighting extends this philosophy, emphasizing a seamless connection between people, art, and nature.

白天，自然光与树影共同参与空间塑造；夜晚，人工光则以更柔和克制的方式接替自然光的角色。设计通过保留暗部与留白、弱化灯具存在感以及丰富的光影过渡关系，使展览空间、建筑界面与景观环境共同融入夜色之中。

During the day, natural light and tree shadows animate the space; at night, artificial lighting gently takes over with restraint. Areas of shadows are preserved, fixtures kept discreet, and light transitions softened—allowing exhibition spaces, architecture, and landscape to dissolve into the night.

台阶、连廊、休憩空间与景观节点通过隐藏式线性光源与低位照明进行引导，在保证舒适度与安全性的同时，营造轻盈而富有层次的空间体验。整个区域中的光影关系如同岭南园林中的月色一般，在树叶、连廊与建筑之间缓慢流动，让艺术与生活自然交织。

Steps, corridors, resting areas, and landscape nodes are guided by concealed linear lighting and low-level illumination, ensuring comfort and safety while creating a breathing, layered spatial experience. The interplay of light and shadow evokes the moonlit ambience of Lingnan gardens, drifting gently between leaves, corridors, and buildings. Here, art and everyday life naturally intertwine.

广州九龙湖阿那亚的灯光设计，并不试图塑造一个被观看的夜景，而是希望通过光影重新建立人与自然、人与建筑以及人与公共生活之间的关系。在这里，光被赋予了超越照明功能的意义。它回应山水环境的节奏，延续岭南在地生活的气质，也承载着阿那亚对于社区与精神生活的持续探索。通过克制的亮度控制、细腻的空间层次与对夜色本身的尊重，设计让建筑重新融入自然，让夜晚重新拥有情绪、呼吸与留白。

当人们漫步于湖岸、穿行于连廊、停留于树影与水光之间时，光不再只是技术层面的照明工具，而成为连接自然、文化与生活方式的空间语言，在山水与夜色之中，构建出属于九龙湖阿那亚的独特夜间体验。

The lighting design of Aranya Jiulong Lake Resort does not seek to stage a visual spectacle, but to rebuild relationships between people and nature, architecture, and communal life. Here, light transcends its functional role of illumination, responding to the rhythm of nature, carrying the temperament of Lingnan lifestyle, and embodying Aranya’s vision of community and spiritual life. Through restrained illumination, nuanced spatial layering, and a sensitive engagement with darkness, the design gently integrates architecture into the natural surroundings, creating a nighttime experience that invites pause and immersion.

As people wander along the lakeside, move through corridors, or pause among tree shadows and shimmering water, light ceases to be a mere technical tool. It becomes a spatial language connecting nature, culture, and a way of life, composing a distinctive nocturnal experience, where mountains, water, and night quietly intertwine.
