平介设计:项目坐落于杭州良渚文化村核心腹地——玉鸟集。作为典型的低密度开放式文艺街区,其以“社区配套+文旅轻度假+文化艺术融合”为复合定位,不仅承载着良渚原住民的日常生活,更凭借独特的场所精神,吸引了大量亲子家庭、文创、宠物爱好者及户外社群的集聚。本案玉鸟食集恰处于商业动线的黄金分割点,承担着连接玉鸟广场、村民广场及核心绿地,承接双向人流的枢纽职能,是激活整个片区活力的关键拼图。

Parallect Design: The project is located in the core area of Liangzhu Culture Village—Birland. As a typical low-density, open-air cultural and artistic block, it adopts a composite positioning of “community support + cultural light-vacation + cultural-art fusion.” It not only carries the daily life of local residents but also attracts families, creative design enthusiasts, pet lovers, and outdoor communities with its unique placemaking spirit. Birland Food Court sits at the golden section of the commercial circulation, serving as a key hub connecting Birland Plaza, Villagers’ Plaza, and the core green space. It acts as the critical piece in activating the vitality of the entire district.

本次更新的核心策略在于“存量提质”与“场景缝合”。我们希望通过微更新的手法,唤醒原有钢结构屋顶下闲置的商户外摆潜力,破除实体护栏对草地资源的封锁,从而扭转食集过往“运营低效、活力匮乏”的局面。设计同步植入商圈专属的“玉鸟绿”视觉基因,旨在强化场所IP的整体性与主题识别度,使其真正成为带动玉鸟集商业氛围的流量引擎。

The core strategy of this renewal lies in “stock quality improvement” and “scene stitching.” Through micro-renewal approaches, we aim to unlock the potential of underutilized outdoor seating areas beneath the existing steel roof structure and remove physical guardrails that block access to the lawn. This will reverse the previous situation of “inefficient operation and lack of vitality.” The design integrates the exclusive “Birland Green” visual identity to strengthen the integrity and thematic recognition of the IP, making it a true traffic engine for Birland’s commercial atmosphere.

原食集建筑虽拥有独特的屋脊型镂空钢构顶棚,但在人本尺度上却存在严重的“尺度失衡”。超过7米的超常规层高,导致行人视线被粗壮的钢柱切割与压迫;加之商铺内退与植被掩映,导致底层商业界面极度弱化,昭示性几乎归零。这种“巨构”尺度下的空间异化,使得食集在漫长的运营期中沦为“透明存在”,访客往往“路过而不入,感知而不留”。

Although the original food court building featured a unique ridged, hollow steel roof, it suffered from severe “scale imbalance” from a human-centric perspective. The excessive 7-meter ceiling height caused sightlines to be fragmented and oppressed by thick steel columns. Coupled with the setback of shops and the masking effect of vegetation, the visibility of ground-floor retail was critically weakened, with almost zero presence. This spatial alienation under “megastructure” conditions rendered the food court a “transparent existence” during its long operational period, where visitors would “pass by without entering or perceiving.”

面向休闲草坪的界面,原有基础设施不仅缺乏主题性,更忽略了人与自然的互动可能。低矮的实体护栏生硬地割裂了硬质广场与生态草地的物理联系,导致优质的景观资源无法转化为商业价值。这种边界的封闭性极大地限制了空间的流动性与利用率,使得大面积的草地仅具备观赏性,而无法承载户外活动或商业外摆的延展功能。

The interface facing the leisure lawn lacked thematic relevance and ignored the interactive potential between people and nature. Low physical guardrails harshly severed the connection between the hard plaza and the ecological lawn, preventing high-quality landscape resources from being converted into commercial value. This boundary closure severely restricted spatial fluidity and utilization, leaving the large lawn merely ornamental and incapable of supporting extended functions like outdoor activities or commercial operations.

膜结构:延申,过渡

焕新策略摒弃大拆大建,选择在既有“巨构”钢架下进行“针灸式”的点睛干预。设计旨在通过轻量化的介入,在一层商户与超尺度屋顶之间建立柔性的“视觉过渡”;并通过主题性景观家具与艺术装置的加载,弥补原始场地在运营功能上的缺失。延续“鸟”这一在地图腾,提取“羽翼”层叠舒展的形态,将其转译为全新的景观构筑物语言。

Membrane Structure: Extension, Transition

Abandoning demolition, the renewal strategy opts for an “acupuncture-style” intervention within the existing “megastructure” steel frame. The design aims to establish a flexible “visual transition” between first-floor merchants and the oversized roof through lightweight intervention. By incorporating thematic landscape furniture and art installations, it compensates for the lack of operational functionality in the original site. Continuing the local totem of the “bird,” the layered form of “feathered wings” is extracted and translated into a new landscape structure language.

设计从商铺檐口顺势延伸出一层膜结构顶棚,以“羽翼”层叠之姿向外、向上渐变展开。这一策略不仅在物理上消解了原有结构的压迫感,更在商铺与街道之间界定出尺度宜人的“灰空间”。羽翼骨架巧妙融入“玉鸟绿”主题色,赋予整体结构以轻盈的呼吸感,同时也为下方的外摆区划定了明确的场域边界,增强了商业的聚合效应。

A tensile membrane canopy extends seamlessly from the storefront cornice, unfolding outward and upward in gradated, layered wing-like forms. This design intervention not only visually relieves the imposing bulk of the original building structure, but also creates a well-proportioned “grey space” as a transitional zone between the retail premises and the street.The wing-shaped framework is finished in the signature thematic color of Birland, lending the entire canopy an ethereal, airy lightness. Meanwhile, its outline clearly demarcates the outdoor seating zone beneath, defining a distinct commercial territory and amplifying the venue’s capacity to draw crowds and foster vibrant retail activity.

材料选择上,主体采用高张力的白色PVDF膜材,在综合考虑透光率与遮雨性能的同时,赋予空间洁白、漂浮的视觉质感。各“羽翼”组团间通过透明ETFE膜进行柔性连接,既保留了原顶棚的序列感,又强化了新增结构的节奏韵律。“虚实体量的交织”丰富了视觉层次,使商业空间在日间与夜间均能呈现通透灵动的表情。

In terms of material selection, the main body uses high-tension white PVDF membrane material, which not only considers light transmittance and rain shelter performance, but also gives the space a white and floating visual texture. Each “wing” group is flexibly connected by transparent ETFE membrane, which not only retains the sequence sense of the original roof, but also strengthens the rhythm of the new structure. The “interweaving of virtual and solid volumes” enriches the visual level, allowing the commercial space to present a transparent and smart expression both during the day and at night.

结构设计强调“轻介入”与“可逆性”。通过对新增结构与旧建筑连接节点的精密计算与反复推敲,设计在最小化原结构负担的前提下,达成了极致轻盈的悬浮视觉效果。最终方案利用悬挑与拉索吊装的组合力学体系,完美解决了新旧结构交接及雨水引排等技术难题,使“羽翼”在柔软轻巧的形态之下,蕴含着稳固的结构力量。

Structural design emphasizes “lightweight intervention” and “reversibility.” Through precise calculation and repeated scrutiny of the connection nodes between the new structure and the old building, the design achieves an extremely lightweight suspended visual effect while minimizing the burden on the original structure. The final scheme uses a combined mechanical system of cantilever and cable suspension to perfectly solve technical problems such as the junction of old and new structures and rainwater drainage, so that the “wings” contain stable structural strength under a soft and light form.

视觉秩序重构是本次提升的重点。店招系统被重新整合至造型顶棚下方的黄金视域,以更立体、更整体的形态直接面向街道开放。这一举措不仅让商铺招牌摆脱了原顶棚阴影与植物的干扰,形成了独立的视觉层次,更通过连续性的商业展示面,有效提升了行人对街区功能的感知度与参与度。

The reconstruction of visual order is the focus of this upgrade. The store signage system is reintegrated into the golden viewing area below the shaped canopy, opening directly to the street in a more three-dimensional and holistic form. This move not only frees the shop signs from the interference of the original roof shadow and street landscape, forming an independent visual level, but also effectively improves pedestrians’ perception and participation in the block function through the continuous commercial display surface.

食集两侧的通道顶部采用了更为极简的概括性设计,既保持了与主体羽翼形态的视觉统一性,又在功能上预留了弹性。这些通道不仅是连接休闲广场的通行廊道,更因其特殊的顶部界定,成为了天然的“事件型空间”,可随时转化为快闪市集、艺术策展或小型演出的最佳场所,极大地拓展了运营的边界。

The top of the passage on both sides of the food court adopts a more concise and generalized design, which not only maintains the visual unity with the main wing shape, but also reserves flexibility in function. These passages are not only traffic corridors connecting the leisure squares, but also become natural “event-type spaces” due to their special top definition, which can be transformed into the best places for flash markets, art curation or small performances at any time, greatly expanding the boundary of operation.

景观家具:互动,链接

景观设计秉持“全龄友好”与“社会向心”的原则,深度考量成人社交、儿童嬉戏及宠物活动的多元诉求。环形座椅围绕现状树池一体化设计,在林下营造出具有安全感的停留空间;同时,通过家具的布局释放广场的流动空间,确保高密度人流下的自在穿梭与偶发交流,让景观真正成为人际连接的媒介。

Landscape Furniture: Interaction, Connection

The landscape design adheres to the principles of “all-age friendliness” and “social centrality,” deeply considering the multiple demands of adult socializing, children’s playing and pet activities. The circular seats are integrated around the existing tree pools, creating a safe staying space under the forest shade; meanwhile, the layout of furniture releases the flow space of the square, ensuring free shuttling and occasional communication under high-density crowds, making the landscape truly a medium for interpersonal connection.

面向草坪一侧,设计以“无界融合”取代“物理隔离”。互动型景观家具与装置取代了冰冷的护栏,将原本封闭的草地转化为商业活动的延展舞台。这种从“隔离”到“链接”的转变,不仅扩大了景观与建筑的功能辐射半径,更实现了从“观看风景”到“身处风景中消费”的场景升级,全面激活了区域的社交属性。

Facing the lawn side, the design replaces “physical isolation” with “unbounded integration.” Interactive landscape furniture and installations replace the cold guardrails, transforming the originally closed lawn into an extension stage for commercial activities. This transformation from “isolation” to “linkage” not only expands the functional radiation radius of the landscape and architecture, but also realizes the scene upgrade from “viewing the scenery” to “consuming in the scenery,” fully activating the social attributes of the region.

家具设计强调“弹性定义”与“复合功能”。通过精准的尺度拿捏与形态推敲,单件家具被赋予了多重解读的可能:它既是放置饮品的桌台,也是临时休憩的高凳;既是成人放空的躺平平台,亦是儿童探索欲驱动的微地形攀爬坡。这种不确定性鼓励使用者自由定义场景,极大提升了空间的趣味性与利用率。

Furniture design emphasizes “flexible definition” and “composite function.” Through precise scale control and form scrutiny, a single piece of furniture is endowed with multiple interpretation possibilities: it is both a table for placing drinks and a high stool for temporary rest; it is both a lying platform for adults to relax and a micro-topographic climbing slope driven by children’s exploration desire. This uncertainty encourages users to freely define scenes, greatly improving the interest and utilization rate of the space.

标识系统回应“玉鸟”主题,景观树下设置了鸟类科普牌,将杭州本土的自然知识与诗词意境融入休憩体验;风动装置与休闲小吧台合二为一,随着微风旋转的动态光影,与草地上奔跑的孩童共同构成了生机勃勃的画面,实现了艺术装置与实用功能的完美共生。

The signage system responds to the “birland” theme. Bird science popularization boards are set up under the landscape trees, integrating Hangzhou’s native natural knowledge and poetic mood into the rest experience; the wind-driven device is integrated with the casual small bar counter, and the dynamic light and shadow rotating with the breeze, together with the children running on the lawn, form a vibrant picture, realizing the perfect symbiosis of art installation and practical function.

通过“羽翼”这一轻量化的介入,不仅消弭了超尺度结构带来的疏离感,更以“去护栏化”和多功能家具的置入,实现了从“物理空间”向“社会空间”的转化。在这里,商业、文化与日常生活的边界被温柔地抹去,这或许正是未来开放式商业街区的理想范式:让空间拥有自我生长的活力,让每一次路过都变成一次值得停留的相遇。食集的重塑,不仅是物理空间的翻新,更是场所精神的回归。当商业景观已从“网红打卡”回归到“场所运营”,我们希望通过玉鸟食集的焕新提供了一个极具参考价值的样本。以此证明存量时代,景观设计不再是空间的附属装饰,而是缝合矛盾、激活商业末梢的“催化剂”。

Through the lightweight intervention of “wings,” it not only eliminates the alienation brought by the oversized structure, but also realizes the transformation from “physical space” to “social space” with the removal of guardrails and the placement of multi-functional furniture. Here, the boundaries between commerce, culture and daily life are gently erased. This may be the ideal paradigm for future open commercial blocks: letting the space have the vitality of self-growth, and turning every passing by into a meeting worthy of staying. The remodeling of the food court is not only the renovation of physical space, but also the return of place spirit. As commercial landscape has shifted from “Internet celebrity check-in” back to “place operation,” we hope to provide a highly referenceable sample through the renewal of Birland Food Court. This proves that in the stock era, landscape design is no longer an accessory decoration of space, but a “catalyst” for stitching contradictions and activating commercial endings.
