Taller de Arquitectura Viva:

Taller de Arquitectura Viva:The yin and the yang are the path from heaven and earth, entities as different as equal, so opposed as matching, it’s darkness and light, femineity and masculinity.

With a circular geometry inspired by the moon, it solves its interior spaces in such way that every corner is made of the most allowing views towards its gardens and pool.

The architectural program corresponds to a two-level building with living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry area, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, swimming pool, terrace and garden.

Each house has 168 m2, giving a total of 336 m2 of construction for the complete circle. The architectural style is tropical contemporary and is solved with local materials of low ecological impact such as stone and wood.

A mimicry with the environment is wanted, to be part of the natural context of the Mayan jungle, grow old next to it. The interior design of the spaces connects with artisanal techniques of the region such as chukum (vegetable resin), henequen, carpentry and all type of natural fabrics. Achieving a luxurious experience in harmony with the different shades close to white.
