未名设计：成都，公园城市的诞生地
2018年，“公园城市”理念在成都首提，随即获得全国城市积极响应，至今已在20多个国际城市落地生根。2024年，成都出台美丽成都建设战略规划，正式立项首个公园城市国家标准，帮助更多城市成为和谐永续的理想人居。
WMLA：Chengdu, Birthplace of the Park City
In 2018, the concept of “Park City” was first proposed in Chengdu. It was immediately met with positive responses from cities across China and has since been implemented in over 20 international cities. In 2024, Chengdu released the Strategic Plan for Building a Beautiful Chengdu and officially launched the project initiation process for the first national standard on Park City, helping more cities develop into harmonious, sustainable, and ideal human settlements.

2025年，成都深入实施34项公园城市建设改革试点任务，提速推动《公园城市建设评价指南》国家标准研制，同时持续打造儿童友好城市。
在国家发改委、国务院妇儿工委办公室和住建部联合发布的通知中，提出《儿童友好城市建设经验举措清单》，其中，“推进公共空间和公共服务设施适儿化改造”和“拓展儿童友好自然生态空间”与公园城市的建设举措深度契合。儿童公园项目整合两类建设的优点，便于孩子们开展自然探索、社会认知等活动，对这一广大群体的身心健康发育至关重要。
In 2025, Chengdu is advancing 34 pilot reform tasks for Park City development in depth, accelerating the research and formulation of the national standard guidelines for Evaluating Park City Construction, while continuing to promote the development of child-friendly cities.
In a joint notice issued by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Office of the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD), the List of Experience and Measures for Child-Friendly City Construction was explicitly put forward. Among them, two key measures-“promoting the child-appropriate transformation of public spaces and public service facilities” and “expanding child-friendly natural ecological spaces”-are highly aligned with the development direction of Park City.The Children’s Park project integrates the advantages of these two types of development initiatives, providing convenience for children to carry out activities such as nature exploration and social cognition. It is of great significance to the physical and mental health development of the large child population.

From Vacant Land to Child-Friendly Playgrounds, Revitalizing the Land Efficiency
“Wow, I just found another highly valued playground for a family outing!” After netizen “Liuliu” posted a guide to visiting the Caba Caba theme park on their social media account, a flurry of curious comments immediately poured into the comment section. Today, the peak-hour visitors at the playground far exceeds its designed capacity by several times-aside from local visitors, numerous tourists from other cities also come here specially for its reputation.

“卡芭卡巴”乐园位于成都天府新区，前身是一片普通的市政绿地。随着天府新区开发建设的增速，用地周边逐渐以商住和商务功能为主，整个区域嵌合大片公园绿地，社会生态与自然生态同样优秀。项目团队运用城市闲置用地、低效用地及待开发用地的规划建设经验，精准判断出城市对该地块的利用需求，成功落地“卡芭卡芭”儿童乐园，以提供都市“微度假”为主题，面向社会开放。乐园自2024年底正式运营以来，已成为成都儿童公园的热门案例。
乐园占地面积11800㎡，其中儿童游戏区域面积8200㎡，总绿化面积4500㎡。项目选址紧邻招商花园城，周边由崇德四路、福州路、嘉州路、梅州路围合，地铁6号线直达正门，另有四条线路、三个站点可通过短距离步行到达，驾车出行也非常便捷。
Located in Chengdu Tianfu New District, the Caba Caba theme park was formerly an ordinary green space of the city. As the development and construction of Tianfu New District accelerate, the surrounding area has gradually become dominated by residential-commercial and business functions. The entire district is interspersed with extensive green park spaces, showing outstanding performance in both social and natural ecosystem development. Drawing on its seasoned experience in planning and developing urban vacant land, low-efficiency land, and to-be-developed land, the project team accurately identified the city’s need for utilizing this specific plot and successfully launched the “Caba Caba theme park”.Centered on providing urban “micro-vacation” experiences, the playground is open to the public. Since its official operation in late 2024, it has become a representative case of children’s theme parks in Chengdu.
The playground covers a total area of 11,800 square meters, including 8,200 square meters of children’s play areas and a total green area of 4,500 square meters. In terms of location, it is adjacent to Tianfu Garden City and surrounded by Chongde 4th Road, Fuzhou Road, Jiazhou Road, and Meizhou Road. For transportation, Metro Line 6 provides direct access to its main entrance; additionally, three stations of another three metro lines are within short walking distance, and driving to the playground is also highly convenient.

成都是中国式美好生活的符号性城市，人居生活的松弛感早已渗透在社会之中，乐园以卡皮巴拉卡通形象自创主题IP，以儿童无动力游乐设施为节点，构建出完整的游乐场景，也是“卡芭卡巴”一家的生活场景。通过以场景营建驱动城市公共空间的打造，乐园迅速集聚人气活力，与街区发展互相促进，助力街区的城园共融与精明增长。
Capybaras have gained widespread popularity among the public for their extraordinary sense of calm in recent years. Their cartoon images have been widely used in various scenarios, injecting relaxation and comfort into the fast-paced urban life.
As a symbolic city of Chinese-style quality life, Chengdu has long integrated the sense of calm in human settlements into its urban life.Taking the capybara cartoon image as its core, the Caba Caba theme park has created its own IP. With non-powered children’s play facilities as key nodes, it has built a complete play scenario-which also serves as the living scenario of the Caba Caba’s family. By adopting the model of driving the development of urban public spaces through scenario construction,the playground has quickly gathered popularity and vitality, forming positive interaction and mutual promotion with the block’s development. This further helps the block achieve city-park integration and smart growth.

“卡芭卡巴”是中国的“姆明与它的朋友们”。以兄妹俩为主角的大家庭，经营着一家生机勃勃的农场，它们除了耕种与收获之外，还经常与亲友举办音乐会，悠闲嬉水，其乐融融。乐园诞生之后，迅速吸引了家长和孩子们的注意力，并与招商花园城产生联动，轻松享受游憩期间的餐饮服务。通过与周边商业、居住功能完美融合，乐园的“空降”似乎自然而然，既丰富了片区公园绿地的运营主题，也提升了街区的整体意象。
“Caba Caba” can be regarded as China’s equivalent of “Moomins and Their Friends”. In the IP’s storyline, this big family-with an elder brother and a younger sister as the main characters-runs a vibrant farm. Beyond their daily farming and crop harvesting, they often gather with relatives and friends to host concerts or relax by water play, with a warm and joyful atmosphere permeating every moment.
As soon as the playground was built, Caba Caba theme park has quickly caught the attention of parents and children,it has also formed a linkage with the adjacent Tianfu Garden City: when families play in the playground, they can conveniently enjoy catering services at the mall without extra travel. Through in-depth integration with the surrounding commercial and residential functions, the presence of the playground feels like an inherent part of the neighborhood,not only enriches the operational themes of the block’s green park spaces but also further enhances the overall image of the entire neighborhood.

With Self-Created IP, Building Beautiful Urban Scenes
There are multiple kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, and high schools within a 5-kilometer radius centered around the playground,creating strong recreational demands among children of all age groups. Children not only yearn for outdoor play but also have diverse activity needs, one of the outstanding advantages of the Caba Caba theme park is its ability to meet the needs of children across all age groups within a single park space.

模仿自然环境的生活场景深受孩子喜爱。沿着入口的“湖畔”走，不久后，就能看到卡仔全家为之劳作的农场，高高的谷仓、风车和拖拉机为衣食而周转不停，近前的草坪是身心放松的好去处，清澈的溪水在草坪之间蜿蜒，连接远处的后山。在那里，更有一番乐趣等待被探索。
Life scenarios designed with natural environments are highly popular among children. Walking along the “lakeside” at the entrance, you will soon spot the farm where the Caba Caba’s family works: tall barns, rotating windmills, and busy tractors works continuously. The nearby lawns serve as ideal spots for parent-child families to relax, while a clear stream meanders through the lawns, extending all the way to the distant mountains,an area which provides more fun waiting to be explored.
乐园的游憩内容因循生活场景而展开，入口处的“天鹅湖”平缓开阔，适宜小龄段儿童逗留。随着地形的起伏变化，农场、沙池、水系和山地自然地将儿童群体按照年龄进行划分，依照年龄递增、运动能力渐强的顺序，引导孩子们主动分布在不同的活动区域。友好的社会交往也因此而滋生，缔结。
All the things you can play with and experience in the playground are designed and developed around common themed scenarios from daily life: the “Swan Lake” at the entrance has level terrain and a wide field of vision, ideal for younger children to stay and play. As the terrain begins to undulate gradually, the age group of children are naturally divided by farm, sandpits, water, and mountain landscapes,guided by the rule of increasing age and growing motor skills, children proactively move to different activity areas,friendly social interactions are emerged and built naturally.

即使在综合设施“呆呆驿站”中，也贴心考虑了不同年龄儿童的活动区域。按照行动的难易程度，设施巧妙地设计成3岁以下的幼儿区、学龄前后的小童区和学龄大童区。这种设计帮助孩子们像生态系统中的群落一样，既共同属于完整的系统，又保持着足够安全的交往边界。
Even within the combined facility “Daidai Rest Station”, activity spaces tailored to children of different age groups are thoughtfully planned. Based on the difficulty in different activities, the facility is cleverly divided into areas for toddlers under 3, middle school-age children and upper school-age children. This design allows children to resemble biological communities in an ecosystem,jointly forming a complete activity system while maintaining safe interaction boundaries at all times.

在有限的乐园之中，我们融入了无尽的创意，以润物无声的方式悄然进行着博物教育。乐园里有许多本地动植物标本，孩子们在玩耍的过程中常被它们吸引，像了解卡仔一家的伙伴们那样，自主学习了关于自然的奥秘。
Within the limited space of the playground, we have integrated limitless creativity, quietly conducting natural history education in a subtle and unobtrusive manner. Numerous local animal and plant specimens are displayed in the playground,children are often drawn to these specimens while playing-just like getting to know the members of the Caba Caba’s family, they independently explore and learn the mysteries of nature.

水流的设计同样暗含巧思，在转弯处、分岔时，浅溪如同生长于自然一般，形成涡流，产生不同的状态，虽由人作，却野趣满满。
The design of the water flow also implies ingenuity,the shallow stream flows as if naturally formed at bends and forks, creating eddies and taking on varied forms. Though man-made, it brims with rustic charm throughout.

“卡芭卡巴”不仅是全龄儿童的乐园，更是整个家庭的户外营地。孩子们嬉闹奔跑的时候，大人在这里支起帐篷，小桌子上摆起水果和热茶，共享轻松氛围。乐园配套设施完善，设有独立卫生间和餐饮售卖服务，把家的舒适感延伸至此，又数倍扩大了家庭的活动范围，织就都市之中一场酣畅的小憩。
Caba Caba theme park is not only a paradise for children of all ages but also an outdoor campsite for the whole families. As children frolic and run around, parents set up tents here, with fruits and hot tea laid out on small tables,all sharing a leisure and comfortable atmosphere. The playground is equipped with comprehensive supporting facilities, including separate restrooms and refreshment service center. It extends the comfort of home to this space while greatly expanding families’ activity range,bringing a full and delightful period of rest in the busy city.

Non-Powered Play Facilities, Greater Motivation for Kids
Another unique advantage of Caba Caba theme park is its large number of non-powered play facilities. A non-powered play facility refers to one where the only source of power comes from children themselves,children actively engage in games and conquer the facilities through movements like climbing, crawling, sliding, running, and jumping. In the process, they can fully exercise their physical coordination, improve their fitness, and lay a solid foundation for their vitality.

Caba Caba theme park deeply recognizes the value of “playfulness”, which is an essential part of children’s growth potential. The more physical effort a play facility demands, the more the communication, organization, coordination, and cooperation involved align with real-world social scenarios. This further guides children to acquire social interaction and problem-solving skills in a positive and constructive way.

在形成方案的过程中，设计团队对已建成的多个公园及社区儿童乐园进行实勘，通过对儿童游戏情况进行统计，发现滑行类、摆荡类和攀爬类设施最受欢迎，其中滑行类位居第一。方案落成后，沿着坡地弯曲向下的滑梯和结合了攀爬、钻行乐趣的滑筒，果然最受孩子们青睐。
During the process of making the design plan, the design team conducted on-site surveys of multiple completed parks and children’s community playgrounds.By analyzing statistics on children’s play behaviors, the team found that sliding, swinging, and climbing facilities were the most popular, with sliding facilities ranking first in popularity.After the plan was implemented, the slides winding down the slopes and the slide tubes that integrate the fun of climbing and crawling truly became children’s favorites.

谁不喜欢在风中安全地摆荡呢？“卡芭卡巴”的秋千真是太好玩了！一个人坐鸟巢秋千，两个人玩伙伴秋千和亲子秋千，一群朋友就会让多人秋千热闹非凡。秋千从乐园开门摆荡到乐园关门，上头的笑声从不间断。
Who doesn’t love swinging safely and freely in the wind? The swings at Caba Caba theme park are simply wonderful! One person enjoys the bird’s nest swing; when with one other person, you can share the fun on the double-swing or parent-child swing; and when a lot of friends gets together, the group-swing instantly becomes lively. These swings keep moving back and forth and the laughter never stops during opening hours.

在儿童喜爱的前十种游戏中，排名靠前的还有旋转、弹跳和玩沙戏水。乐园以高标准的营建技术和材料，为孩子们集齐了这些功能，同时又以超长的质保服务，为政府提供管理上的安心。
Among the top 10 favorite choices of children, spinning, bouncing, sand and water play are also high-ranking games.The playground provides children with all these popular play functions with high-standard construction technology and materials,it also offers an extended warranty service, offering reassurance for the government’s operation and management at the same time.

The playground has also made an ingenious design on how to turn children’s energy into other forms of energy.Inside the cute and lovely tractor next to the barn, there is a hidden self-generating device. It allows children to intuitively feel that their own strength can miraculously be converted into electrical energy!

超国标的标准，是满满的安全感
安全游玩是开心游玩的基础。“卡芭卡巴”对所有游乐设施执行高标准设计与定制，严格按照欧盟EN1176、EN1177安全标准进行设计，安全要求覆盖国标并高于国标。在项目实施中，全部游乐设施都通过了德国TUV GS安全认证，设施主要材质安全环保级别获北欧白天鹅认证，真正做到以每处细节和高度的责任感呵护每个孩子。
乐园建成后，整个游戏空间设计都通过了Safe to Play国际安全检查认证。此外，建设单位通过定期回访现场，对设施及空间进行全面检测与维护，来见证和守护乐园生长的全过程。
Stricter Than National Standards: Delivers Tons of Security
Safe play is the foundation of fun play. Caba Caba theme park adopts high-standard design and customization for all its play facilities, strictly complying with the EN1176 and EN1177 safety standards. Its safety requirements not only fully cover national standards but also much stricter than them. During the project implementation, all facilities have obtained the German TUV GS safety certification, the main materials with environmental protection grade of the facilities have obtained the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which truly embodies care for every child with every detail and a high sense of responsibility.
As soon as the playground was completed, the entire design of the play space successfully obtained the international safety inspection certification of Safe to Play. Additionally, the construction company conducts regular on-site visits to carry out comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the facilities and space, witnessing and safeguarding the entire process of the playground’s operation and growth.

细沙，清溪，山坡，草坪；攀登，滑行，旋转，跳跃。在独具魅力的天府文化中，绿色生活与人气活力是不可或缺的组成部分，乐园的诞生，更加彰显这座城市的“chill”与美学感知力。2025年底，“卡芭卡巴”二期乐园的入驻，将极大丰富这一主题的内容，卡仔一家以“1+1大于2”的阵容，链接每个想来这里的家庭，为美丽的公园城市嵌上一颗崭新的明珠。
Conclusion
Fine sand, clear streams, hillsides, lawns; climbing, sliding, spinning, jumping. Among the charming Tianfu cultures, green living and vibrant atmosphere are indispensable part of the playground, and the birth of Caba Caba theme park further highlights the city’s theme and aesthetic perception. At the end of 2025, the second playground of Caba Caba theme park will officially settle here, greatly enriching the content of this theme. The Caba Caba’s family with a “1+1 > 2” influence will connect every family eager to visit , inlaying a brand-new pearl in this beautiful park city.
