方行设计:深圳市笔架山公园位于城市快速路交通流线和城市生态绿廊的交汇处,是城市中心区重要的生态绿地之一。始建于1989年,1999年10月正式对市民开放,位于深圳市中心北侧,毗邻福田中心区,南靠笋岗路,西临皇岗路,北邻北环路,面积149公顷。内嵌于城市中心与大片居民住宅区相连接,服务广大市民。
Fangxing Design:Bijiashan Park in Shenzhen is located at the intersection of the city’s expressway traffic flow and urban ecological greenway, and is one of the important ecological green spaces in the city center. Established in 1989, it was officially opened to the public in October 1999. It is located in the northern part of the city center, adjacent to Futian Central Area, south of Sun Gang Road, west of Huang Gang Road, north of North Ring Road, covering an area of 149 hectares. It is embedded in the city center and connected to a large residential area.

公园现已建有东、南、西三大门及三个门区停车场,作为现在公园的主要入口。本次项目位于的北侧区域由毗邻城市的主要快速道路,多年以来被长期疏忽主要以围墙和小型此路口的形式呈现,失去了与城市连接的活性和契机。
The park now has three gates in the east, south and west, as well as three gate parking areas, which are now the main entrances to the park. The north side of the project is adjacent to Shenzhen’s main expressway and has long been neglected by walls and small roads, losing vitality and connection with the city.

设计契机 Timing:
设计的介入时间正处于深圳展开公园去围墙运动之际,作为传统公园的笔架山公园也面临着与城市融合以及边界如何打开的问题。既承担着北环快速路的车行景观作用,也肩负城市空间纵向串联的作用,成为服务北侧居民的城市公共景观绿地。本次设计改造则将借助围墙拆除的工程项目将笔架山北侧区域做整体的面貌更新。
The renovation design coincides with the start of campaign that Shenzhen is launching to remove walls from parks. As a traditional park, Bijiashan Park also faces the issue of integration with the city and how to open its boundaries. It not only assumes the role of a landscape for the north ring expressway, but also plays a vertical connection role for urban spaces, becoming a public landscape green space serving residents in the north. The renovation is designed to upgrade the overall north side appearance of Bijiashan park by removing walls project.

设计目标 Design Target:
相对新建公园,笔架山周边环境相对较复杂。 公园被围墙包围时,相对比较独立,当围墙被拆除时,与整个城区的融合变得尤为重要。项目包含两个公园的出入口及公园北部整体边界,是公园与外部环境的过渡地带,具有人流导向和公园形象展示的双重作用。以及打开隔离的公园边界与慢行道之间的关系处理等内容。围绕着“把公园送还给城市”这一主旨,通过打开公园边界,模糊公园与城市的界限,使得公园成为城市休憩空间的功能被更多市民使用。使公园的绿色景观可以修饰过于嘈杂的快速道空间。通过人行天桥,让快速道对面的大型社区的市民可以看得见,到得了。通过塑造新的公园新的入口公共空间,在方便进入的基础上,重新塑造公园的城市形象,体现公园自然在城市中的重要作用。
Compared with newly built park, the surrounding environment of Bijiashan park is relatively complex. When the park is surrounded by walls, it is relatively independent, and when the walls are removed, the integration with the entire city area becomes particularly important. The project includes two entrances and exits to the park as well as the overall northern boundary of the park, which is a transition zone between the park and the external environment, serving as a dual function of guiding pedestrian flow and showcasing the park’s image. It also involves opening up the relationship between the isolated park boundary and the slow lane. In line with the theme of “Returning the Park to the City”, the park can become a more accessible urban rest area for citizens by opening up the park boundaries and blurring the boundary between the park and the city. This allows the green landscape of the park to beautify the overly noisy expressway space. Through a pedestrian overpass, citizens from large communities across the expressway can view and access the park easily. By creating a new public space for park entrances, we aim to reshape the urban image of the park and reflect the important role of natural park in the city on the basis of accessible facilities.

实际问题(设计难点)Practical problems (design challenges):
在项目进行中,需要考虑打开围墙后的边坡安全问题、灰色杂乱空间的合理利用问题,城园衔接空间的自然过渡问题等方面。在这个以狭长带为基本形态的项目中,以入口及待开发地域为节点,充分考虑公园边坡与慢行道并行、门区形象与湖泊水系关系、苗圃园地与休憩空间融合,公园入口与人行天桥等场地条件的结合。需细致考虑场地滑坡、植物覆绿、城市水电管网外露等基础现场问题。公园入口除却公园形象设计,对进入流线做了进一步规划。将动线分为公园外部流线及内部流线。对于需要和人行天桥结合的部分,既需要考虑桥下空间的景观问题,也需要考虑无障碍通道等人流动线与人行天桥的衔接问题。
For the project, there are several challenges to be taken into account, including slope safety issues after removing the walls, feasible use of grey and cluttered spaces, natural transition of urban and park connection spaces, and other aspects. With this narrow strip as the base of the project, the entrances and the undeveloped areas are considered as nodes. The parallel relationship between the park slope and the slow lane, the connection between the gate area image and the lake water system, the integration of the nursery and the rest space, and the combination of the park entrances and pedestrian overpasses with site conditions are fully considered. We also paid attention to the basic site issues such as landslides, plant coverage, and exposed urban water and electricity pipelines. Together with the park image, the team also designed the access route of the park entrance , dividing it into external and internal access routes. For the parts that need to be integrated with pedestrian overpasses, it is necessary to consider not only the landscape issues under the bridge, but also the connection between pedestrian flow lines such as barrier-free access and pedestrian overpasses.

设计手法 Design technique:
设计在一开始就将整体沿线作为整体考虑,试图利用延续的景观元素与横向的平行线条作为构图方式。顺应快速道路一侧的视觉习惯,形成延续统一的视觉观感,形成开放延续的边界形象。在车行视角强调了空间区域的景观特性形成城市视觉记忆取代了之前延续封闭的公园围墙。在节点接驳空间上通过连续蜿蜒的步道与场地原有树林结合形成逐渐深入的流线。黑岩景观造型与公园传统景观构造融合。设置栈道型通道,增强公园的形象感与画面感。圆弧型水泥座椅,高低起伏的露台型地面,给休憩的人群以静谧空间。通过创造主题型空间,优化场地高差,打造多层次的微地形空间。实现重点区域打造与过渡区域的微介入项结合的理念。形成丰富的景观体验与合理的经费使用。大量使用自然的连续的草型植物,给原本压抑的城市感受带来自然的野趣。从而激发市民的参与性,成为北环路边老社区的新城市场所。
At the beginning, the overall line was considered as a whole, attempting to integrate continuous landscape elements and horizontal parallel lines as composition methods. Following the visual habits on the side of the expressway, a continuous and unified visual perception was formed, creating an open and continuous boundary image. At the vehicular viewpoint, the spatial characteristics of each region were emphasized to form an urban visual memory that replaced the previously continuous and closed park walls. At the node connection space, a continuous and winding path was combined with the existing trees on site to form a gradually deeper circulation route. Black rock landscape design bends with traditional park landscape structure. Setting up a boardwalk-style path enhances the image and visual impact of the park. Curved cement benches and undulating terraced ground provide a tranquil space for resting crowds. By creating themed spaces, optimizing site elevations, and forging multi-level micro-terrain spaces, the design combines the concept of creating key areas and minimal intervention in transitional areas. This results in a rich landscape experience and reasonable use of funds. Plenty use of natural, continuous grass-type plants brings sense of wildness to the originally oppressive urban feel, encouraging public participation, thus turning into new venue in the existing community by the North Ring Road.
