多义景观：2024年成都世界园艺博览会于2024年4-10月举办，主题为“公园城市、美好人居”，希望以园艺为媒介，传递绿色发展和诗意栖居的美好生活图景。世博园位于成都东部新区，基地以浅丘地貌为主，有较好的自然条件。
ATELIER DYJG：The 2024 Chengdu International Horticultural Exposition was held from April to October 2024 with the theme “Park City, Better Habitat”. It aims to convey the beautiful life prospect of green development and poetic dwelling through horticulture as the medium. The Expo Park is located in Chengdu Eastern New Area, with a site dominated by gentle hilly landforms and favorable natural conditions.

深圳园位于世博园的中部，东侧紧邻世博园主园路。场地为四边形，南北最长约40m，东西最宽约38m，总面积为1500m²。场地西低东高，高差约5m。
深圳园的设计，从深圳的自然特征中汲取灵感，以“山海印象”为主题，抽象概括地模拟了深圳的自然环境，力图展现出深圳“山-海-城”一体的城市结构及深圳的城市特点，通过蔚蓝的“大海”、多变的“海岸线”和现代的“城市”呈现深圳所具有的独特品质。
Shenzhen Garden is situated in the central part of the Expo Park, adjacent to the main garden road on the east side. The quadrilateral site has a maximum north-south length of approximately 40 meters, a maximum east-west width of about 38 meters, and a total area of 1,500 square meters. It features a topographic difference of around 5 meters, sloping from low in the west to high in the east.
Inspired by Shenzhen’s natural characteristics, the design of Shenzhen Garden takes “Impressions of Mountain and Sea” as its theme. It abstractly simulates Shenzhen’s natural environment, striving to showcase the city’s unique “mountain-sea-city” integrated structure and urban traits. The garden presents Shenzhen’s distinctive qualities through the azure “sea”, diverse “coastlines” and modern “cityscape”.

设计充分利用现状高差，在场地中塑造出5m高的悬崖，悬崖上方的平台与世博园主路相接，表现出深圳园中的“城市”的部分；悬崖下方为水面，水岸变化多端，周围是不同的植物生境，隐喻大海和海岸的各种生态系统。
The design fully leverages the existing topographic difference to create a 5-meter-high cliff in the site. The platform above the cliff connects to the main road of the Expo Park, representing the “city” part of Shenzhen Garden. Below the cliff lies a water surface with varied shorelines, surrounded by different plant habitats, metaphorically depicting the diverse ecosystems of the sea and coasts.
▽利用场地高差塑造悬崖、水面与上层平台，构建”山-海-城”空间格局
上层平台是深圳园的入口场地，中心是一座造型独特的凉亭“花园屋”。它不仅是入口处的焦点建筑，也是游人驻足观赏和休息的地方。亭子采用参数化设计和3D打印表皮，外形有机流畅，体量轻盈，表皮单元具有深蓝、浅蓝和草绿3种颜色，象征着“山”与“海”的色彩，形成了律动的肌理。通透的建筑表皮塑造了流动而围合的空间，又能在阳光下给亭子内部带来斑驳的光影变化，极大地丰富了空间的趣味性。
The upper platform serves as the entrance of Shenzhen Garden, with a uniquely shaped pavilion “Garden House” at its center. As a focal structure at the entrance, it also provides a place for visitors to stop, admire the scenery and rest. The pavilion adopts parametric design and 3D-printed cladding, boasting an organic and smooth shape with a lightweight volume. Its cladding units come in three colors—dark blue, light blue and grass green—symbolizing the hues of “mountain” and “sea” and forming a rhythmic texture.

亭子采用最新的数字化设计和智能化建造技术，展现了深圳的科技之城与设计之都的特质。沿亭子表皮向上攀援的深圳市花勒杜鹃，体现了城市活力与自然生机的有机融合。崖壁上悬挑着观景平台，在上可眺望全园景色，折线形的平台是深圳海岸栈道的抽象再现。
The transparent cladding creates a flowing yet enclosed space, while casting dappled light and shadow inside the pavilion under sunlight, greatly enriching the spatial interest. Employing the latest digital design and intelligent construction technologies, the pavilion demonstrates Shenzhen’s characteristics as a “City of Technology” and “City of Design”. Bougainvillea spectabilis—Shenzhen’s city flower—climbs up the pavilion’s cladding, embodying the organic integration of urban vitality and natural vitality. An overhanging viewing platform on the cliff wall offers a panoramic view of the entire garden, with its zigzag shape being an abstract reproduction of Shenzhen’s coastal greenway.

位于崖壁下方的水面是深圳园的中心，象征着大海。水岸线曲折多变，展现出不同的水岸形态，隐喻深圳海岸的不同地貌和植被类型，包括悬崖峭壁、石滩、沙滩、草地、林地等。
高5m，长30m陡峭的悬崖是园中最瞩目的景观，不同大小的岩石形成具有统一机理的峭壁，岩石缝隙间生长着植物，显示出大自然的力量。岩石在水岸边延展，在水畔形成乱石穿空的石滩和粗犷的岩石园。植物穿插在岩石的缝隙之间，展现出蓬勃的生命力。一部分岩石延伸到水中，如同海中的小岛。
The water surface below the cliff wall is the centerpiece of Shenzhen Garden, symbolizing the sea. Its tortuous and varied shorelines display different waterfront forms, metaphorically representing the diverse landforms and vegetation types along Shenzhen’s coasts, including steep cliffs, stony beaches, sandy beaches, grasslands and woodlands.
The 5-meter-high and 30-meter-long steep cliff is the most striking landscape in the garden. Rocks of varying sizes form a cliff with a unified texture, and plants growing in the crevices of the rocks demonstrate the power of nature. The rocks extend along the water’s edge, forming jagged stony beaches and a rugged rock garden by the water. Plants interspersed among the rock crevices exhibit vigorous vitality, while some rocks stretch into the water like offshore islets.

The white sandy beach is a play area for children. To the south of the water are grasslands and woodlands, with aquatic plants dotted along the shore. The boat-shaped platform, abstracted from fishing boats, serves as a viewing spot. It metaphorically reflects Shenzhen’s history of development from a fishing village, reminding people of the city’s remarkable achievements in development.

环绕全园的一条长约120m的无障碍游览路径联系了入口平台和下层花园，将不同高程的景观串联起来。园路提供了迂回曲折、高低转换的视点，为游览带来了丰富的体验。
A 120-meter-long barrier-free tour path encircles the entire garden, connecting the entrance platform with the lower garden and linking landscapes at different elevations. The winding path with vertical transitions offers diverse viewing angles, bringing rich experiences to visitors.

深圳园选取了适应当地气候条件的深圳代表性植物，设置了3个植物景观区域：旱生植被区、湿润植被区和城市植被区，分别模拟深圳的海岸、林地与湿地、以及现代都市的植被风貌。
Shenzhen Garden selects representative plants of Shenzhen that are adapted to the local climatic conditions, establishing three plant landscape zones: the xerophytic vegetation zone, humid vegetation zone and urban vegetation zone. These zones respectively simulate the coastal vegetation, woodland and wetland vegetation, and modern city vegetation styles of Shenzhen.

深圳园的设计，通过对城市自然地貌、自然植被的象征性再现，以及对城市历史与今日成就的隐喻表达，全面地诠释了深圳的自然和人文特征。花园以丰富的空间和竖向变化、多样的植物景观，为游客提供了别样的游览体验，呈现出深圳独有的现代浪漫气质。花园形象地再现了深圳“山-海-城”紧密联系的城市特征，生动地体现了现代科技与自然生态融合的城市魅力。
Through the symbolic reproduction of urban natural landforms and vegetation, as well as the metaphorical expression of urban history and contemporary achievements, the design of Shenzhen Garden fully interprets Shenzhen’s natural and cultural characteristics. With rich spatial and vertical variations as well as diverse plant landscapes, the garden provides visitors with a unique tour experience and presents Shenzhen’s distinctive modern romantic temperament. It vividly reproduces the city’s characteristic of close connection between “mountains, seas and city”, and embodies the urban charm of the integration of modern technology and natural ecology.
